I needed to sell my rare car. I found car dealers didn't want to stock unusual cars so I chose to auction the car to people who know what they are buying. H and H gave me very good advice to make the most of the auction, preparing documents, cleaning the car etc. H and H took all the photos at a location near to home. They prepared the write up and described the car in great detail, advertised it, took a great video which generated hundreds of views on youtube resulting in many bidders on auction day.
When I took the car to Duxford they gave me a lift to the station for my journey home.
At Duxford potential buyers can view the car, see documents and ask questions. My car sold on the day exceeding the guide price and payment was made as promised two weeks later. Particular thanks to Paul Cheetham who consigned the car with enthusiasm and attention to detail. I would recommend H and H to sell a collector car. They will also give you advice regarding a sensible valuation.

H&H are extremely knowledgeable and professional, from the first engagement right through to the post sale experience.

There are some good people there… but… the WORST after sales ever, and they ignore emails…
They previously lost two boxes of spares for the (£34k) restoration I had bought, but neglected to mention it.
They eventually paid out for having ripped a hole in the soft top (I now have proof you did it, btw).
Did I mention they ignore emails.
While the auction process is straightforward, the after sales experience was unacceptable and therefore not one I will be repeating. Not recommended.

I am selling my scooter by auction and choose H&H not knowing a lot about them but followed reviews so thought to give them a try. Well. although the Auction is not till the 12th July I thought I would say how impressed I was with their representative Paul Diamond who visited to look at the scooter. Paul has a wealth of knowledge and is very thorough in detailing and explaining about his findings. This guy knows his stuff and is an enthusiast about scooters, so although not yet at the auction I would highly recommend the service so far.

This was the first time I have sold anything at auction and the H&H representative explained the process well and made everything stress free.

Mike Davis was great to deal with explaining all that was involved.

Mick Davis from H & H Auctions came a long and took loads of photos and gave me a valuation on the bike, he was very helpful on how the auction proceeds and on the day the bike sold above my expectations, very pleased with the outcome that took place on 29th March

His auction estimate value was spot on and my motorcycle just exceeded the reserve by £3000. Bearing in mind my vehicle was the highest price on the day.

I did notice quite low bids at the auction- it appears the market is suffering due to inflation and confidence.

I would highly rate H&H Classics from a first introduction to completion for ensuring all our queries and questions were answered quickly. Paul Cheetham was very mindful of the family situation in selling my late father's car's and would recommend him for his service and professionalism. He made sure we had all the information to complete valuations, then photo's for catalogues and even suggested means for transporting the cars to the sale. Paul made the experience as easy as it could be.

My first-hand experience of HandH.
Do not trust these people at all. HandH present themselves as a professional Auction House with glossy brochures, videos and eye-catching venues...do not be fooled and duped into dealing with them in any capacity. They are not trustworthy. They are not professional. They are not honourable. and certainly should not be trusted.

Then, see HandH response below, this really sums them up!!
They list a vehicle with an exaggerated description which turns out to be substantive misrepresentation...the vehicle managed 10 miles before collapse!! They sell a car as a running vehicle which HandH claimed had been maintained and checked just before auction!! They then say 'oh just put it back into our auction someone else will buy it'!! ... How on earth would I do that, knowing what I know. Therein is the moral delta between HandH and myself. Legal action is now underway.

Totally unbelievable professionalism!! “Paul Cheetham” is an absolute credit to the company 👏 I would 100% recommend him to everyone thinking of selling classic car through H&H. Best experience I have ever had selling with an auction.

Mike at h &h was superb in selling our late fathers 1927 sunbeam. It was a joy to deal with Mike and made the whole process very easy and was very knowledgeable

i was honestly recommended to use H&H by a guy i met in a pub....just another bike enthusiast. if i meet him again i want to thank him because Ian and his team have done a great job and the price achieved was above my expectations.

From my initial enquiry I was guided through the process and given time to consider if auction was the right thing. Once committed I was guided through the process and visited by the member of HandH, my contact, to take photos and explain how the auction worked and how and when I had to deliver my machine. All in all I had a great experience and a satisfactory result.

From the outset, I was most impressed by the H&H process of assessing and auctioning my 1960s classic Japanese motorcycle. Special thanks are due to Ian Cunningham; his advice and communications throughout were first rate and much appreciated. Finally, I was pleased with the selling price.
