VueScan for OSX has been for years a reliable and user friendly application for scanning and with the ongoing updates, compatibility with newer all in one printer scanners, it makes the process seamless.

This is exceptional software with great support by its creator. It has enabled me to continue using two scanners no longer supported by their manufacturers; software this I'm sincerely grateful.

For years I get excellent scans, I can't complain. I often scan with high resolution and edit the pictures with photoshop to size and color I wanted.

Not only is the application as near perfect as you will find, the customer support, too, is exceptional. I make an annual contribution because it is the right thing to do where service rather than profit appears to be the driving force.

I bought the Professional version of VueScan way back when in 2013 for two reasons: one was to use a professional film scanner to digitize my old slides and photo negatives, and the other to keep my Epson Perfection 1240U scanner alive. I bought it in 2002, so it was already 11 years old when I opted for VueScan as a driver. Which by the way was a much better controller than the original Epson software has ever been. Today it's 2026 and VueScan still lets me use my trusty old flatbed scanner seamlessly. With more functionality and features that I could dream of! I just love how Hamrick helps me keeping this perfectly suitable old tech alive -- I hate planned obsolesence.

Well VueScan is probably the best software I have ever bought. It first made my Fujitsu ScanSnap work permanently with my Mac:s. The program is easy to understand and work flawlessly. Great software. I strongly recommend it.

For many years I've relied on VueScan to keep using a perfectly good scanner for which the maker, HP, stopped driver support, to force me to buy a replacement. I have gladly supported VueScan and they me, the product always works, you can choose to update (at very fair pricing) occasionally or always, and user support is spot-on. Why throw away a working machine just because the maker will not support it?

I have been using Vuescan for over 15 years and it does everything I want from a scanner organiser. I have had a variety of printer-scanners over that time and I've never had a problem. Thanks guys - keep up the good work.

I have been using VueScan continuously since 27 January 2002 and it has alway outperformed any other scanner app I have tried. If I have to point out some con then it is that they update the app so frequently (like, every week or two) that I often am prompted to download an update most every time I need to do a scan. But I wouldn't change a thing.

The best software for my scanners. Especially for B/W negatives and colour slides.

No matter which old contraption of a scanner You use. VueScan is there & always helpful. Compared to SilverFast it is truely economic solution. I keep on funding.

I've been a user of VueScan for several years. It is very easy to use and invariably produces excellent results. I very much appreciate the regular free updates, which are simple to install. The owners ask for voluntary donations each year to keep the program going, and I'm more than happy to oblige them.

VueScan is dead set awesome! Since Apple is phasing out support for software that doesn’t work with silicone, I’m pretty happy I discovered VueScan to replace it and can still use my Epson RR600 scanner. The VueScan software has heaps more features than the original one. It’s a must-have, and I’m really happy with it.

This software company put my old Scanmaker I900 back into action working with Windows 11. My thoughts are that, thanks to VueScan, my old scanner is working as good as it was, maybe better, than when first purchased due to using Win 11. My Thanx and Appreciation to Hamrick Software

Good scanner software, sometimes problems with my HP laser Jet M1 40W (not loading) I use a Mac OS Tahoe.
I have send an eMail to HP about this problem.

I've been a user since October 2012 and can say unequivocally that this is one of the best software companies (of any size or type!) that one could hope for. Aside from that generality, yes it's a small company, but they provide the best scanner software. It works wonderfully, is always kept up-to-date, and is designed and maintained by a small group of individuals who care about not only what they have created but also about their customers.
