Greetings to you all,
I just want to say that even though it was very difficult for me for the past 5 months, your program was a great asset in teaching me the things I needed to know along with my ARRL study book on all facts I needed to know to pass my "Extra" exam!!!
I decided to take it the morning of June 28, 2025 with my club. We are the Sangre De Cristco Amature Radio Club in beautiful Custer County Colorado. We set up our station in the morning for National Field Day in Westcliffe Park. My shack as well as the park view the enormouse and beautiful Sangre De Cristo mountain range. They are the longest string of fourteeners in North America. Also known as the Rocky Mountains.
I was inspired by the Lord to accomplish this huge task and that WE did. I am getting ready to turn 70 in a few months and this proved that Seniors can still accomplish what they put their minds to when being led by the Lord.
Thanks again for writing such a great training program!

Accidental double pay refund
I purchased the technician level course and within a couple minutes decided to buy all 3 levels. Not wanting to double pay I emailed them. Ryan was friendly, got back to me within an hr or two, and got my refund approved the same day!

videos pace just a little fast
The pace of the videos is just a little too fast when you are trying to understand and comprehend the key concepts. In some of the sections the concepts could be made clearer by examples of the concept related to real world examples.

I recently used Ham Radio Prep to study for my Technician license exam, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The course was clear, well-structured, and perfect for someone like me who learns best through visuals and guided lessons.
What really stood out was the way the content is broken down: short videos followed by quick quizzes. It made the material a lot less intimidating and helped me retain the information better than just reading a textbook. The explanations after each question were super helpful too—they told me not just the correct answer, but why it was correct.
I also appreciated how accessible it was. I could study on my phone during breaks or in the evenings without hauling around a big book. The app worked smoothly, and the pace was great—fast enough to keep things moving, but easy to rewind when I needed to go back.
I passed the exam on my first try with a solid score, and I definitely credit Ham Radio Prep for helping me get there. If you’re serious about passing your ham radio exam but want something more engaging than a manual, I highly recommend it!

Great format. Passed exam first time.
Their program allowed me to study at my own pace. I passed the technician license exam after a week. I am very pleased! It is important to read the text as well as watch the videos. Take many examples tests. I had very quick response on the one time I had an issue.

I am 76 years old and my ability to recall facts and figures is on the decline. I have found the method of instruction offered by Ham Radio Prep works best for me. When reviewing the questions I find only seeing the correct answers is very helpful. That way my memory is not confused by recalling an incorrect answer. We all prefer different styles of learning. Ham Radio Prep offers each to reinforce our learning.
