I began the program in early 2025 and completed each of the three level courses. I used all of the provided information and resources and no problems passing the exams, which I did in-person through... See more

I like the combination of spoken word and written lessons. The combination helps me memorize the lessons. The tests at the end of each lesson give me immediate feedback so I can go back and repeat the questions I missed until they sink in.

I do not have a science, math or tech background and went from no licenses to Amateur Extra License in 37 days using the Ham Radio Prep app with Professor Jim. Definitely worth the value. Plus they send you a nice little gift when you pass.

Great for taking the tests but I'd suggest students buy the ARRl license books to fill-in more complete knowledge. I passed my test but remain befuddled as to how Ham Radio works with all the frequency allocations with SSB, upper and lower bands, etc. Having said that I'm onto my General license studying now with my ARRL books as refences.

Great course. Easy to follow. Step by step instructions with easy to understand explanations.

I wanted to surprise my husband by getting my license so I purchased the Ham Radio Prep for technician. Studied a few hours a day and took practice test and passed an in person exam after a week. I only missed 3 questions! After showing my husband my certificate he informed me happily I really needed to get my General also to be able to activate with him. (He’s an Extra) We were taking a 3 week trip to Florida over the holidays and I or we wanted to activate lots of parks while there. Soooo I studied my butt off for 2 days and took my General exam remote thru GLAARG and passed only missed 3 questions again!! We do POTA together now and it’s really a blast! Ham Radio Prep has all the information and actual answers to questions on the test! Do yourself a favor and use them! 73 KR4MAX (already got my vanity call sign 🤣)

Can’t say enough good things! They even helped me configure my new MAC for the Online Test. Incredible kind and patient folks.

Once I made up my mind to really try it became a lot easier. Well tech anyway. General seems harder.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is studying for the first time for their Technician Exam to those who are looking to upgrade. I am very happy with the cost. You WILL pass if you use this product.

I started out with the arrl technician study manual. For me that was some tough sledding. Having a list of the test questions is a good reference.
Ham radio prep is working well for me. I love reading. I reach for a book when I want to learn something, as opposed to utube, or the web.
The combination provided by Ham Radio Prep- video, the written word and adding working up notes is a grand slam, guaranteeing 90% + scores

Everything I need to pass the exam with flying colors and no worries . . . Just Do It!

Clear, concise.
Sometimes the quizzes "drop out" and I can only finish them if I close the program and then log back in. Its annoying

The Satellite and Space operations course is excellent. I am half-way through the course and already have my first voice contact (ISS). The course material is very well presented and easy to understand. More importantly they cover the details (tips and tricks) that will help make you successful. Due to FM quieting, working a satellite like the ISS on FM can be competitive. The course covers ways to make you competent and give you an "edge" and make working satellites more interesting and fun.
I worked with Ham Radio Prep a few months ago to get my ticket and passed Tech and General first try so their courses work great for me and I plan to keep coming back.
