Purchased car 7/6/26, already has a fault, trying to speak to someone as car still under warranty is a nightmare!

THE CAR IS LOVELY AND HAPPY WITH IT. (BUT)
I travelled 375 miles from Glasgow to Norwich to buy a car from Hammond Cars. Shortly after purchase, I discovered the vehicle's Service B was actually overdue by 143 days. I genuinely misunderstood the dashboard message and initially thought the service was due in 143 days.
THE VEHICLE ADVERT DID NOT CLEARLY STATE THAT THE SERVICE WAS ALREADY OVERDUE, I travelled with confidence and buy the car.
I ended up having to pay for the service myself while still within the 30-day warranty period. When I contacted Hammond Cars to ask if they could offer any help or goodwill contribution towards the cost, I was simply told there was nothing they could do because I had signed the paperwork.
Very disappointed with the lack of customer service and after-sales support. After travelling such a long distance to purchase the vehicle, I expected a more helpful and understanding response. Unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling that customer care ends once the sale is completed.

Welcomed from the moment stepped on to forecourt. Left to wander at our own pace and when ready, to come into the office. All staff that weren’t with customers said hi.
Asked if wanted a drink and to take a seat. Very helpful in the questions we asked about the car. Gave us a test drive and then left us to play around with the car and to make sure we were happy before proceeding.
Kurtis absolutely polite and professional on the both days we visited. Nothing too much for him and definitely not pushy like other salesman.

Outstanding customer services Chris was brilliant and Alfie was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and talked us through the car. We spent all morning going through the car and taking the car for a test drive. Would highly recommend.

Over the moon with Hammonds, Darnell who dealt with us could not have been more friendly and helpful. The car I bought unfortunately had a slow puncture but went back next day and all was sorted without any problems, I shall be buying my next used car from Hammonds for sure. Huge thnx guys

All the members of staff that myself and my Dad saw were extremely helpful. Peter, Ollie , and any others as can't remember all the names.
All the questions raised about the car that we were interested in were answered well with clear and concise information.
Service from start to finish was excellent. Always patient and listened to our needs.
Would certainly recommend Hammonds Cars to others looking for a car to buy.

Great and super friendly service. Ollie was super efficient and kept me up to date including managing my trade it of my old car. Really pleased with my new car, would totally recommend.

Would avoid if you’re selling a car to them agreed on a price for my car then when it was time for the exchange ignored all calls and correspondence to complete the deal. Had to sell elsewhere at a considerable less price. As I said not a firm of their word

Very friendly and helpful staff. Staff were knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and we were allowed to test drive the car by ourselves.The buying experience was made very easy and enjoyable.

Incredibly great team! Honest, friendly & very accommodating. Everyone was genuine & extremely personable. Not in the least pushy.
Very competitive prices for all their cars, lower than other dealers we had visited.
Gave a great rate to trade in my old vehicle too.
Picked my new model up the following week (at a day & time to suit me)
The guys ran through all the paperwork with me and made everything oh so simple.
Genuinely impressed all round.

Customer service was brilliant, even though there was problems with accessing information on the computers. We were kept informed the whole time.

service was good ,but vehicles are not cleaned or valeted.

Rubbish place to buy a car I got a car and had multiple knocking noise from the front of the car and that was after a week | got the car so I went back to tell them and I been promised that will be fixed or I would returned the car after replacing some bits I still had one noise coming through and they not answering the phone or emails so looks like | have to take you to court because you sold me a broken car and I could return it but you promised to fix it instead return it but that never happened.

Terrible. My son spent £14k on a faulty car. Even though under warranty they are making it impossible to get fixed. Alarm has been going off randomly for 2 weeks. NEVER buy a car from here!!!!

This is the second car I have purchased from hammond.

I purchased a car last year with 12 months warranty, a few months later the car went wrong. I couldn't fault Hammond cars, they had it sorted in days and I was back on the road! You often read/hear horror stories from other companies not adhering to the warranty promise but hammond definitely do!

So our recent second purschase - What me and my wife like, is when we are left alone to look around after and explaining we are ok, we want to look ourselves and discuss options hammond every time delivers this at the norwich branch.

we bought it and drove it away there and then!
