Good facilities, welcoming staff, foot golf a bonus!
I was told to keep active by my doctor (lol) and he recommended strengthening my core by doing yoga or playing golf. There's no way I was doing yoga so golf it was. I came across Halfpenny Green Golf, and it was great! It's a nice drive to get there, tucked away amongst the lush countryside. Facilities were good, and my first port of call was the driving range to get a bit of practice. If I get a bit frustrated when I don't hit it 500 yards (I wish!) I can always switch to their Foot Golf, which looks a lot of fun, especially if I bring the kids.
