I asked for very specific delivery…
I asked for very specific delivery instructions, and I was disappointed that they didn't tell me when they were going to deliver the materials like they said they would in order confirmation email. They just turned up without warning and I wasn't at home. Saying that, I will still give 5 stars as the driver interpreted the instructions correctly and put the materials exactly where I wanted them, well done to him.
Just FYI, don't tell people you will contact them to organise the delivery, and then don't.

I placed an online order for 250kg of…
I placed an online order for 250kg of gravel and payment was taken immediately. The order was accepted without any indication that my chosen branch, Balmoral, didn't actually stock the product.
I then received emails explaining that Balmoral didn't have the gravel in stock, that it would be collected from the Lisburn branch and delivered on Wednesday 24th. That date has long since passed and I'm still waiting.
To make matters worse, my emails chasing the order have simply been ignored. Poor communication is frustrating enough, but ignoring customers after taking their money is completely unacceptable.
What I don't understand is why your website allows customers to place and pay for orders at branches that don't even stock the goods. Stock availability should be checked before payment is taken, or customers should be clearly informed before completing their purchase.
I also noticed that the responses to negative reviews on Trustpilot all appear to be the same generic copy-and-paste message, promising to contact reviewers "as soon as possible." Based on my own experience of having my emails ignored, I find those responses difficult to believe. It's easy to post a standard public reply; it's another thing entirely to actually respond to customers and resolve their problems.
This has been a thoroughly disappointing experience from start to finish. I'll never use this company again and certainly won't recommend them to anyone. There are plenty of other builders' merchants who value their customers, communicate properly and deliver what they promise.

I was not notified of the delivery.
I was not notified of the delivery day/date, despite providing both my home and mobile phone numbers. The company had my email too, from the initial order. However, the driver on the day was excellent and was able to place the items exactly where I wanted them, using the vehicle's hydraulic crane lift.

Seriously poor supplier
Still waiting on the order. They do not answer the phone or return phone messages left. They do not reply to emails. Also the price is double the cost of Murocks Ltd for exactly the same materials.
Seriously not happy with Haldane Fisher who have left me in a serious deep hole of which Murdocks Ltd have got me out of. Seriously poor company of which I wouldn’t use again even if they were the last people on earth.

Delivery didnt arrive on monday 8th…
Delivery didnt arrive on monday 8th june, rescheduled for tuesday. Rang and confirmed ok for tuesday in am. Later in day wood hadnt arrived in yard so i cancelled order. Part of order was then delivered. No word from them until cancelled wood was delivered on friday. Then had to pay for wood over phone and thought all done until the driver arrived sat morning to take back wood id repaid for. Really disorganised
