Our Charity number: 1163727 is with the charitys commission uk What is the problem we are trying to solve? Hairy Hounz dog rescue is a non-profit charity so we strongly rely on public donations to our charity to help find forever homes for our dogs, while in rescue we micro chip, vaccinate, neuter / spay all are dogs before they go to their forever home, also they need feeding leads and collars, all our staff are all volunteers. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why do you care about this? The need to rescue dogs is so that dogs needing homes don't fall in the wrong hands like dog baters (people who fight dogs for sport) so are rescue can find homeless dogs in pounds or on the internet "free to good home" we take them in and asses these dogs and re-home them in to the proper family's after we check the new adopters home, each dog we re-home is a dog that has been saved. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How will the money be spent? all our dogs that we re-home we charge a donation of £150 that covers micro chipping, de-sexing and vaccinations, we need extra donations for dogs that may need medical attention or skin problems or any number of medical treatment, also dog leads and collars beds and bedding. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When will supporters see the difference? what we do is ongoing so people can see where the donations are going on a daily bases or when ever dogs come in to rescue right up to when a dog is re-homed in to its forever home, our website and Facebook page keeps people up to date where our dogs are and how they are doing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About us I started hairy hounz dog rescue with my wife and we put all our spare time in to it, we are just a couple trying to do our bit for dogs, we started fostering dogs on our own then just got more dogs and more foster carers and now we want to help more and more dogs.

A humble desire to do what most of us only dream of has grown into this worthy charity, the Hairy Hounz Dog Rescue. There are no outdoor kennels at Hairy Hounz. Founders Carole and Steve Porter have transformed their home into a dog sanctuary.
The focus is on preparing homeless, sometimes neglected dogs for permanent, harmonious re-homing.
Hairy Hounz canine wards receive vital veterinary care, loving attention, and training brush-ups. Prospective homes are also closely assessed. This responsible strategy seeks to ensure the best outcome for the dogs as well as for those fostering and adopting them.
I encourage others to consult the Hairy Hounz website to see for themselves, then follow and promote them on social media. Hairy Hounz supports dogs. I support Hairy Hounz.
10/5 stars!
