I would have put 0 stars if I had the option. My hair product arrived, it was not a good fit or colour match for me. I went great lengths to contact them for a return. Had email responses from Emma/Julieta/customer services - all repeating the same blurb. Eventually I paid £16 to return it, with international tracking. Nothing!
6 months later it appeared back on my doorstep yesterday having been refused at the address in China.

Shipping has been a nightmare

Shipping has been a nightmare. If you need your extensions fast dont use this company. I still haven't received mine and I've been waiting for almost a month now. They messed up my address then tried to say it was USPS fault and they wouldn't refund me since it was a USPS error. It was their error not usps. Still annoyed. Still no fake hair. Will not use them again.

⚠️ SCAM / DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ⚠️

⚠️ SCAM / DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ⚠️

I waited weeks for this order because it ships from China. By the time it arrived, I no longer needed it, so I emailed the company before opening the package to request a return.

Their response was clearly intentional and deceptive. They told me I had to open the package and send photos of the product in order to “authorize” the return.
🚩 This is done on purpose — once you open it, you cannot return it to sender.

I immediately refused and told them I would return it unopened to the sender. That’s when the scam became obvious:
• They sent me their absurd return policies
• Claimed I was not allowed to return it that way
• Insisted I had to ship it back to China at my own expense
• Said a refund was not guaranteed

🚩🚩🚩 TOTAL SCAM BEHAVIOR 🚩🚩🚩

I returned the package UNOPENED to the sender and had to file a credit card dispute because the company refused to cooperate and kept fighting the claim using their ridiculous policies.

📌 Final outcome:
It took almost TWO MONTHS, but my credit card company finally refunded my money.
If I had not paid with a credit card, I would have lost everything.

👉 Bottom line:
This company uses deceptive tactics, abusive return policies, and procedures designed to prevent customers from getting refunds.

Fraudulent Company

This is a scam company. I made a purchase a month ago and it never even made it through customs. When I checked the number and address of the company that shows up on my Amex statement, the phone number goes to a dentist’s office in Boston and the “headquarters” is a crummy little apartment in Daytona. Customer service gaslights you until you call them out on this, then they stop responding. You will not receive any merchandise you order. Fake company.

Mediocre at best

Mediocre at best.

To be fair, I should have dug for review outside of the website- because those reviews align more with my own experience.

First of all, the hair is going to ship from China, so be prepared to wait at minimum 2 weeks for your product. I wouldn't be upset about where its manufactured if these companies were more transparent about that.

Second, the quality is just okay. Fortunately I purchased on a discounted season, for i would NEVER pay full price- you are better off taking a chance with amazon cheap versions for the ease of quick and headache free returns.

For those looking to purchase still, know its 1. synthetic, 2 going to take a while to get, and will most likely only last a handful of wears . Buyer you've been warned.

The product lacked volume and returns are impossible

The product lacked volume. When I tried to return, they said I would have to pay for the return shipping cost with tracking and they proceeded to give me a China address, when their company advertises to be in the USA. They do this on purpose to discourage all returns.

Complete headache

Complete headache, after 4 months i still haven’t got the product. I had to re-order it and they said their website was down for 6 weeks so they couldn’t deliver. I have now reordered and get no updates… its absolute chaos

It’s a scam company

It’s a scam company. I ordered hair extensions that were completely the wrong color compared to the pictures. They refused to accept the return, claiming that the color wasn’t wrong. After several weeks of emails, they finally said I could send it back and get a refund. I sent it two months ago and still haven’t received my money back, as they keep saying it can take months for them to “receive” a package. This is a scam company — do not order from them. All of their good reviews are bought. I still haven’t got my money back.

The quality is terrible and the customer service is even worse! A complete scam!

I bought the extensions and additional insurance in case I wanted to make an exchange or return if I wasn't satisfied with the product. It took me many days to wait for them to tell me what I should do, and what they replied was that I have to pay for shipping to China to return them, which costs the same as the extensions themselves. This is unfair because I even paid for additional insurance for this!!!

Horrible quality and costumer service

The thread broke right when I tried using the extension for the very first time. When I asked for a refund (which you have to email them), they asked me to send a bunch of pictures of the packages and other things. After doing it, they said they only refund when the product is intact (as it was my fault that the thread broke). Long story short- very bad quality and horrible costumer service. They offered another product- but I don’t trust the company and the quality of their products so, obviously, I just want my money back.

Too good to be true!

The hair extension that came was not platinum blonde at all.
Crap quality and when I tried to organise a swap to a different colour they just ghosted me!
Waste of £44. Too good to be true.

Hairebel is a scam

I ordered a messy bun from them Sept 10. I have been tracking the shipment all this time and today the post office sent a tracking update with an alert. Went to the post office website and the shipment was seized for counterfeit postage. I emailed Hairebel according to their instructions requesting a refund.

Bad quality extensions

Bad quality extensions, bad customer service as they don't respond to emails or try to resolve issues. The company is also guilty of false advertising. They state a 100% money back guarantee on purchases on their website but this is a lie.

Scammers

Scammers! Avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service and poor-quality products. I spent £44 on extensions, and the delivery was very slow—it took three weeks to arrive. The quality was not as advertised, the colour didn’t match, and the product is not suitable for shorter hair. The string is poorly attached and keeps slipping off the hair. What a complete waste of money!

To get a refund, they asked me to return the goods to their warehouse in China at my own expense. The package was delivered back, but I am still waiting for my refund—all I get are empty promises. The reviews are fake and generated. Don’t fall for this scam!

Thought it was a scam but pleasantly surprised

Thought it was a scam. Customer service is very slow and the reviews on instagram and Tik Tok just look like influencers/ promoters and struggled to find genuine reviews so I was very worried. Took about 3- 4 weeks to get to Australia. The halo itself is a great colour match (blonde and brown ombré) and blends well. Hair is very realistic, soft and shiny and has a pleasant smell.

It feels comfortable in a loose ponytail. Not as heavy as I thought. But it does not feel secure when down. Needs a clip at the back. Just feels like it could just fall out any minute. Love the fullness when I wear it in a pony though. I did cut a few inches off it as the original length was a bit too long and unnatural looking.

Dishonest advertising

Dishonest advertising , took 3 weeks to arrive, quality or shade doesn’t match what’s being advertised AT ALL, looks very cheap, just awful and 30 days money back guarantee is a lie - they refuse to send full valid traceable address to which it can be returned using tracked service (but tracked is required) it’s scam

Reasonable Quality but Dishonest Marketing

The halo extensions are a good color match and the fittings work well (the wire and net). The hair quality is identical to the £10 extensions on Amazon (I have both and can't tell the hair texture apart and the pattern on the net is identical also). But, Hairebel has more hair (attached in 3 rows) so it feels and looks a bit better than the super-cheap ones.

Although the company suggests they're in Spain and the US, they actually dropship from JD.com, a Chinese company, adding their own branding to standard halo extensions. So, expect a good 2 or even 3 weeks for the extensions to finally arrive, as they'll come from China.

Also, they pay a lot of "influencers" to make TikToks and go really heavy on the advertising and marketing. And they have thousands of obviously fake reviews on another review website (all of which are only 1 to 3 words long - you can find this yourself to see what I mean).

All in all, I'm mostly pleased with the quality of the halo extensions. You can use a flat iron or curling wand on them (as long as you keep the heat low and secure them until cool, as synthetic hair won't "hold" the curls until cool) and presumably you can also wash/clean them. I haven't done that yet. I use a looped wig brush to brush them. A few of the hairs have come out but nothing noticeable. On the Hairebel website they do make some sketchy claims (such as appearing in Cosmopolitan magazine about their extensions, which I can find NO evidence of) and shipping from various places (when it's just from a big warehouse in China). And their "best ever synthetic hair" is the exact same hair as on my much cheaper halo from Amazon, not a proprietary product.

In conclusion, if you want to spend £35ish on a halo extension and you don't mind synthetic hair and a long shipping time, I don't think you'll be disappointed with Hairebel. I dislike their dishonest marketing tactics but the extensions aren't that bad.
