In August 2026 I bought a Haier oven from Haier Kenya through Jumia (jumia.co.ke). 1. The promised engineer never came to install it at my house. 2. Upon baking our first cake, the oven proved faulty in that the rails for the baking trays were not aligned and as a result the baking tray with the cake collapsed inside the oven, spoiling and spilling the soft cake. This continued to happen every time we baked a cake and hence rendered the oven useless. I complained at Haier Kenya and they promptly sent a mechanic with a new tray. Of course the new tray did not make any difference as the core problem were the misaligned oven rails. Later, I received several calls from their service department asking whether the issue was resolved. It wasn't. They didn't care. Their calls stopped. Awaful brand. Awful customer service.
