This site is frustrating and doesn't pay!

This site is frustrating and has scammed me out of the survey money that was promised. Read the reviews on this site and be warned.

They asked for documents and a professional email address. I provided 2 documents (diplomas from fellowships) and a professional email address from a medical school and clinic.

They then asked for more documents and more email addresses. I provided more, and then they had the audacity to tell me they wanted even more. They wanted every single document on a long list including ID badge, etc. It is just too much.

But dont worry, you WILL GET SPAM. I got tons of it. I suspect a lawsuit in their near future.

The person responding from info AT habcentral.com is doing a terrible job and is discouraging many doctors to leave, not re-certify, or never join. Trust me, I hear the grumblings. 1/5, even a 0/5 if possible.

They are not prompt at responding if an issue arises...

They are not prompt at responding if an issue arises, and they keep asking for verification every 2-3 months, which is annoying... and on top of that some surveys promise x dollars but pay far less. A lot of doctors I know have left this survey panel after being fed up with their bull. They need competent customer service for the very least.

Getting invitations since years

Getting invitations since years, and reply to surveys when I feel competent to contribute and the topic seems interesting. Its not for a few $$, but it‘s a nice gesture. Sometimes there are a few too many security issues during claiming the rewards, but ( thanks!) Mrs. Malett always solved them. Guys, we are all not 100% perfect, don‘t always suspect scam.

Definitely not a scam

I completed a survey and it did ask for credentials. At first I didn't trust it and thought it was a scam. Long story short, I ended up sending an email. I got compensated today.

This is what they asked for initially…

This is what they asked for initially when registering for this site:

"A picture of an approved document confirming you are a practicing HCP such as: Medical licence or diploma, Board certification, ID badge bearing name and professional status"

After providing my medical license from the list of documents, they further asked me:

"In order to validate your profile we need the following documents:
- Physical Medical license (ID badge bearing name and professional status)
- Physical Diploma from University"

So my medical license is no good? They ask for more proof than my hospital did during the application process.

BE WARY WHEN UPLOADING SECURE DOCUMENTS OVER EMAIL TO THESE UNVERIFIED SURVEY SITES. NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOUR DOCUMENTS ARE BEING SOLD ON THE DARKNET.

I can't trust a company that asks for so much verification to pay out a $30 survey. No thanks.

They appear to be decent human beings.

Well, I initially ran into the situation where even after providing my credentials (diploma/license/etc) for this company (which is Medefield, parent company is P\S\L), they still wanted an email address to complete my registration and issue initial survey honorarium. However, I was not told to provide both at registration (credentials AND professional email). I was rather given the option to choose ONE for verification (and I chose credentials). I do not have a company email address LIKE MANY DOCTORS I KNOW because we work independently and communicate with staff via EMR software instead of email address. Here's the thing... I told the CSR that I could provide a 2nd credential, and he/she accepted that, and I was welcomed to HAB Panel. So please understand that they seem flexible with verification; and that is why I am not leaving 1 star, but instead 5 stars. Thank you.

These guys are a joke

These guys are a joke. They keep asking for documents and email addresses and aren't happy with the exact document they ask for. They are too invasive and started spamming my work email with everything except surveys... from PeerVoice and God knows what else. So no surveys, plenty of spam, and my private documents floating around on their website. Stay FAR AWAY from medefield, habcommunity,habcentral.com, icr surveys, etc. Watch out for that Laura Malett who has her name spelled Laura Mallet and Malett.... who spells their name wrong???

SCAM SCAM SCAM

SCAM SCAM SCAM

Don't waste your time and energy; fill out their survey, provided all documents; even though I would reply to their emails in 5 minutes, they would reply only once in 24 hours asking for more documents - clearly a tactic to stall. Nonetheless, I sent themy diploma, my id card, my institutional email ID; after 7 days back and forth - "sorry for the inconvenience, can't process your payment"

as other mentioned the claimed paid…

as other mentioned the claimed paid surveys from Habcentral Habcommunity are scam. They messaged me on LinkedIn through ICR Surveys and was invited to a paid survey. Upon completing the survey a person namely Laura Malett from surveys.habcentral.com -kept emailing me to send qualification docs which I provided. They keep sending me same email with no actual compensation. I have reported them to BBB as they used my knowledge and experience to get data for their survey without honouring their commitment for compensation. Stay away from ICR surveys and hab central

Guys run from these idiots

Guys run from these idiots. They sent my a message on my LinkedIn and in thought it was genuine since it’s a LinkedIn message. I was invited to a survey that would earn me £25. I completed the survey and then they kept asking me for series of identification documents which I provided. I noticed that their responses were similar. They kept requesting for what I have provided and then just today, they said sorry for the inconvenience and that they won’t process my payment and that I am advised to participate in new surveys in future.
They’re jokes. It’s a bait. Don’t fall for it. They used my information cheaply and I have told them to delete my documents am off their stupid records.

Good company gone bad!

Two months ago, I received an email from Medefield America Inc, also called HAB Central. (Website: habcentral.habcommunity.com.) Asking if I would like to do a 5-minute survey to earn $20. After I finished the survey, I received a screen telling me that my name would be placed in a drawing for a possible $200. I have worked with this company for 20 years and this has never happened previously. I filed a complaint with the BBB, who quickly resolved the problem, and I received $20 from HAB Central. Two months later, I received an email from HAB Central asking if I would like to do a five-minute survey regarding cholesterol for $20. I was hesitant at first but considering that they must have learned their lesson two months ago! (They used to be a very good company). However, when I was done with the survey again, I received a screen telling me that my name would be placed in a drawing for $200. This is nothing other than bait and switch to trick and deceive their clients. Again, I have filed another complaint with the BBB. I am hoping that this review will warn other physicians not to deal with this company anymore. I know I will not work with them again.
