Hotel H10 Big Sur Los Christianos
Hotel was lovely what a location been Los Christianos many times and that’s the best hotel Ivan on Reception was so nice all the time. And David.r and Andréss on the pool bar area made my stay brilliant they are so nice and Professional and I’ll be back thank you
I stayed in H10 ocean eden in Jamaica…
I stayed in H10 ocean eden in Jamaica from the 23-30th of July 2023. They made me purchase a membership the next day but after staying in the hotel for 2 days, I realized that what they advertised and the living situation in the hotel was not the same. I decided to cancel my membership just 4 days after while still on vacation.
I spoke to Jose N. Who is the manager is sales and he assured me that I will get 100 % of my money back. It's been a month and half and they haven't given my refund. What they say in the phone and whatever they saying by email are totally different. Please do not join their membership if there is no terms and conditions and refund policy. Their customer service representative Angela is rude and has no maner she has no empathy and doesn't care at all.
It's unfortunate that a beautiful place like that has a bad system, the information that you get within their CSR are different from one to another and that was the same problem in the resort. The people are nice but the system is broken.
You owe me more than $5,000.00 and you will pay it back.
What you're doing is scamming and no wonder why your cancelation rate is 80%.
I want my money back or I will be leaving a review every week until I get it back.
H10 Gran Tinerfe
Firstly, the quality of the hotel. It is worth noting that the Gran Tinerfe, for us, was a wildcard. We had considered staying at the H10 Costa Adeje, alongside around seven other hotels of similar quality and price in Adeje; however, we booked the Gran Tinerfe on the basis of good reviews and that it was Adults Only (the original reason the Costa Adeje didn’t get our booking). We were nervous before arriving - because we had no experience of staying with your hotel group, and nobody we knew had stayed at the Gran Tinerfe previously, we were hoping that it would be the quality we were promised by Jet2 and the reviews on their site.
On arrival at the hotel, after a very pleasant experience travelling there from the UK, we were greeted by a welcome glass of Cava and the ebullient Mariska; she went out of her way to make sure that we felt taken care of. She sat with us and explained the service the hotel offered as part of our booking a Privilege room and handled the whole checking in procedure. When looking at the Privilege rooms originally, we decided to book it because we felt it was worth the extra cost for the sea view, the separate sun terrace, and the coffee machine - but we didn’t realise quite how much extra that service offers until Mariska walked us through it in detail. She helped us to book a table at the El Mirador for our first night and then for the Asensen restaurant later in the week. She ensured that my Mom had an allergies card so that she didn’t have to worry about that. Whilst she did this, our luggage was taken by the porter and next seen in our room, which was a gift after a long period of travel. We had to wait a little time for our room, but were offered use of the hotel’s facilities during that. The team had decorated the room with balloons and really made a big deal out of it being my birthday, which made it even more special.
That evening, at the El Mirador, we had our first meal - which was exceptional. The food was of restaurant quality, something which remained as good for every meal we had over the course of the week. Alongside this, the service we received was again outstanding. We didn’t expect the warmth and commitment that the team showed; a special mention for Aaron, Charo and Asier, who made every meal an experience. Something which really stood out for us was the sheer volume of languages that these members of the team and Mariska speak - able not just to take orders but to hold conversations in at least five languages that we heard; even the gentleman running Mike’s Cafe was kind enough to allow me to practice a little rudimentary Spanish and taught me ‘otra más’ when ordering the second Espresso Martini! They are an absolute asset to the group and are a significant part of the reason we had such a good time during our stay. This is not to say that anybody else on the team were less than hospitable, warm, friendly and accommodating during our stay. The whole hotel team’s constant commitment to ensuring that our needs were met meant that nothing was too much effort for them.
A close family friend wanted to ensure there was a present for my birthday at the hotel on arrival; the hotel’s reception team helped brilliantly in advance of the holiday to make it special on arrival, with a bottle of vintage Cava and a gift certificate for a massage at the spa; both of these were amazing. I was really impressed with the quality of the massage; the only shame is that the Turkish Spa wasn’t functional prior to this as we’d have liked to make use of the sauna and steam room - however, we were made aware that maintenance would be dealing with that rapidly.
Beyond this was the little things the hotel does which often go unnoticed but made the stay just that much more special. Having a twice per day turn down meant the room was always left clean and tidy; chocolates left on the bed every day; the Club H10 welcome chocolates and cocktail voucher; the general cleanliness of the room and the hotel. Hotel entertainment is often hit and miss - however, we were really impressed with the quality of these during our stay. In particular, the DJ night, the flamenco, and the live music acts were all great.
Overall, we were made to feel very special. We commented during the stay that we haven’t had a holiday that enjoyable for around ten years; everybody we spoke to shared a similar experience. As such, whilst we came as a pair for my birthday, we will be rebooking before the end of the month for next summer for us again, plus my partner and our immediate family; because of the way the team made two of us feel, we will be booking for eight people in total to experience Privilege and the Gran Tinerfe next year.
Ocean Maya Royale ...
Ocean Maya Royale .... my 4th time here. I always had a great experience and gave them 4 or 5 stars....they are now at a 1.
Paid for privilege which is supposed to include a butler, saw him once and never had anyone to help us with anything.
Fridge is supposed to be stocked daily but we had no water for 2 days. Called guest services, waited an hour and finally had to go in and ask for water. They said it was because we must have the do not disturb sign on. Seriously? The do not disturb sign up for two days? Our room gets cleaned so obviously that is not the cause. Then we still had to wait another 30 minutes. I told them that with the extreme temperatures and humidity that it was important to ensure everyone has water to stay hydrated but they just looked at me with annoyance. I guess I disturbed them at work.
Food signs are all wrong. I have a seafood allergy. One night I saw a potato salad, turns out it had shrimp in it. Another day there was a food item identical to one a couple of days previous but no sign at all. I thought it was the sane item but it was thickly coated fish. Are they trying to kill someone?
Basically, paid almost $2000.00 extra for privilege services and got nothing except a chair on the beach. That chair is very expensive.
Someone needs to come in from H10, secretly and try each tier of service and to seriously look at how things are done.
I doubt I will be back a 5th time.
H10 Casa Del Mar
Stayed at Hotel previously, very disappointed after returning. Bar staff are rude and very unhelpful, waited over 10 mins to get served while barman continued to serve Spanish speaking customers first that arrived after me (bar was not busy). This was my very first impression on my arrival which was very disappointing. When I got to my room I noticed that the rooms are not thourghly cleaned between guest and throughout the whole hotel you will find tons of damaged walls and water damaged roofs.
My biggest upset was 1/2 of of the Breakfast and evening food where not labelled. I have been a vegetarian for 4 years and accidentally ate pork due to this. The hotel is not inclusive and I’m extremely disappointed in my experience. God forbid someone had an allergy!
This hotel should have its stars lowered to 3 stars. I would not recommend staying here and will certainly not be back.
H10 Casa Del Mar
H10 Casa Del Mar, Mallorca.
The food and restaurant staff were excellent, particularly Carlos. Reception staff very helpful and professional. Front bar staff, with the exception of the two blonde haired ladies, didn't come across as being particularly happy or helpful. Cleanliness was good overall but felt that some items needed a bit more focus occasionally. The pool area is very quiet with no music playing over speakers, which is good. We would definitely return in the future, but some staff could do with lessons in customer service/friendliness
Hotel H10 Timanfaya Palace
TUI is very good at transfers for wheelchair users as they pay for an accessible taxi there and back which is very good thing to do as I cannot get on a coach now.
The accessible room was very big and very clean and comfy beds
The bathroom was quite big but the sink is too high for wheelchair users. Also not a brilliant fold up and down shower chai as only had one grabrail but it was in the wrong place. We use a balcony chair after first night which was more comfy and safer
The food is good and cocktails are great as they are all made from scratch ot the premix ones we usually get. There is a really nice coffee bar and a snack/bar restaurant which are all
The only downside there is not a lot walk to, there are shops and bars if you go left, but nothing to the righr. There is a small town centre and marina with the same sort of market twice a week.
This is the 3rd year I have been to…
This is the 3rd year I have been to this hotel with my family to H10 Tindya Costa Calma.
We decided to go privileged to experience fine dining at their new A La Cart Restaurant, as the food is normally good.
Please save your money and do not go privileged for the fine dining experience. It is only privileged for the other faculty's it has to offer.
The food is not fit for a pig.
I am a food critic from the UK.
We had our first meal on the 20th of July, 2023, and we both ordered steak when our meal was served to us both.
I did not recognise the steak and smelt cheap fat. I sent my meal back after cutting one piece of the meat. I ordered a simple mushroom risotto, which was tastless, I only had a few mouthful.
The next night, I had been given the same menu. I had the manager if he had made a mistake, according to the serving staff it is always the same menu.
I had ordered duck, which was so dry and hard, no vegetables offered again, only greasy potatoes, you are not offered a dish of fresh vegetables with your meals, which is standard practice.
The next morning, he put in a complaint to the duty manager.
I said the food is ( CRAPP I RATE YOU 0000)
I had given her a list, which was wrong with the A La Cart Restaurant, bearing in mind they have been going 8 months as a privileged restaurant.
We are forced to go out and have some decent food to eat.
We tried room service twice and ordered a pizza for our meal. The first one was so dry and hard, and the second time, the pizza was the same very dry again with extra pineapple on top.
We have tried the main eating hall once at lunch the food is slops, you have to hunt for any decent food, the desserts are always good.
Had room service for breakfast ordered 4 croissants 3 turned up, one fresh fruit salad for 2 people, tea turned up without milk, took 25 minutes for milk to turn up, which arrived in a teapot, hot milk for my tea absolute joke.
I can say the serving staff are lovely, the staff at the front desk very helpful, the cleaning ladies are lovely.
We have been hear a while people are complaining about the Privileged A La Cart food and the one and only food hall for everyone, Privileged people are using the main food hall, Route66 the food is also dry and greasy open 5 days a week.
The amount of people coming from Privileged going to the main food hall as there is no variety of food or any daily dish of vegetables offered with your meals, also the A La Cart menu does not change, it is limited.
Most people are forced to go out in the evening's like we do, and get a cab to the nearset selection of restaurants to eat decent food is so appalling.
The privileged seating area does not have enough sunbeds or umbrellas. You have to hunt for a sunbed with an umbrella. The same applies to all exclusive, not enough umbrellas to go around the swimming pools.
On the privileged sunbed area, they run out of water and fruit juice and cava. You have to que and ask for someone to replenish these amenities. We are not given daily beach towels.
Our hoilday has been ruined. I can not believe that in one year, the food standard has dropped so dramatically that it is appalling.
PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR PRIVILEGED. YOU ARE JUST PAYING FOR THE BLACK ARM BAND ON YOUR WRIST.
ROOM 409

Filthy H10 Costa Adaje
H10 Costa Adaje
The good first:
Swimming pools are lovely
90% staff were very friendly and helpful
Location is nice
The food was nice in the buffet restaurant but it was super busy. The food in the pool bar was average.
The bad:
Filthy and tatty!
We booked a sea view room and arrived to see that it looked like it had been furnished from the dumpster. If the wasn't actually broken in was chipped or tired. The bed was visibly lumpy and old.
We told reception and they offered us another room on the opposite side of the hotel which had been refurbished. It was cleaner and newer but looked over a building site without a sea view!
The only other room available with a sea view was a suite which we had to pay an upgrade amount to use. (80 euros a day)
It was FILTHY! I can't tell you how dirty it was but it was so bad I didn't know where to sit. Filth, hair, and ground in dirt everywhere. I took a white towel and wiped a chair and it came up black with dirt.
We called the guest services who came straight up and was very apologetic. She took photos for the manager. We had to leave the room for hours for them to deep clean it. We would have left but there wasn't any hotel available in the location we wanted available.
After arguing with the management for some sort of goodwill/compensation the manager offered us 50% of the supplement that we had to pay for the upgrade!! Seriously insulting as we had wasted a whole day and had to pay for an upgrade that we didn't need but we needed a holiday.
There are a lot of parts of the hotel that are so old and filthy and some that are new but still not maintained as well as they could be.
Our room air conditioning did not work very well at all.
We left feeling that the hotel management does not care about customers with unpleasant memories of dirt!
I have never stayed anywhere that had such cleanliness issues! This might not be connected but my daughter ended up with a bacterial throat infection and we had to call the Dr out who prescribed antibiotics our second to last night.
Ocean El Faro as Premium Member
Booked at Ocean el Faro in Punta Cana with a travel agency and got a Swim-Up Junior Suite (awesome room with a semi-private pool at your terrace’s doorstep) at the check-in we upgraded to the privilege service which was awesome. 2nd day in we were greeted by a Hotel employee at the lobby and offered us to assist to a presentation to explain the Premium Membership program the H10 hotels has and I accepted. After the presentation I was convinced enough and when signed up they upgraded us instantly to premium services in the current stay. This was amazing! We got all the privilege services, access to premium exclusive areas and a personal Concierge “Rosely” which helped us with all the restaurant reservations for each day and gave us daily reminders of the reservations and the hotel daily public activities. She also hooked us up with the cart pickups at the room or lobby whenever we where going out, since it was a long walk from Building 8 to the lobby. All restaurants were amazingly good and not to mention Mike’s Coffee Shop my personal favorite. The El Mercado buffet was awesome also. Every single tour we did outside the hotel was booked at the lobby with the tours rep and all of them had pickup and drop from and to the hotel included. Very safe and secure, I was impressed. Overall we had an unforgettable experience and we will be back!
Need to speak to a member of the H10…
Need to speak to a member of the H10 hotel complaints . You can not get through on any of their sites!! It would be in your interest to email me before I put photos of your H10 dreams hotel on this site. The hotel is NOT a four star plus it’s a 3 star , the bar had water pouring through the ceiling , the pool area is tiny and the beds and that close to the others the photos are nothing like what it is actually like , the double sun beds looked nice till I looked at them snd they are stained and old , the place it tired and shabby , speaking to the man suppose to be a manager ‘glen’ told us to drop our expectations !! What a disgrace . The list could go on all I would say is the hotel is not 4 star . The outside is tired and the photos are nothing at all like the place . Would never tell anyone to stay .
Unexpected surprises
Before we left for our trip to Ocean El Faro April 2022, so many people kept telling us not to get sucked into a time share so we were avoiding the folks in the hotel lobby that seemed to be approaching everyone. However, after 1 day, we got sucked in. We agreed to sit down and 'just talk' to one of their representatives. My husband and I were adamant that we were NOT going to get any kind of time share. The next day we met Jean Louis, a super great guy that just wanted to talk to us about life in general and our families and such. Yes, he gave us the 'talk' but we soon realized that this in deed was NOT a time share but rather a membership and you don't just have to go back to the same resort time and time again but it offers huge discounts on a variety of resorts all over the world. We signed up with the knowledge that if by the end of the week we changed our mind, no problem. However, for the rest of the week we were treated like a King and Queen and honestly, who wouldn't want that kind of treatment. We spoke to many others online that week that are members and the general consensus is that this is an amazing membership to be part of. We are so very looking forward to coming back to El Faro very soon. Great service and awesome people!
Hidden prepayment prior my booking
Hidden prepayment prior my booking! I did a booking at H10 Roma Citta hotel advertised with "no prepayment needed" and free cancelation on booking.com, however in less then 24 hours after the booking the hotel charged me around 200€ (first night fee) after a few hours only they were trying to charge me the entire amount for my stay with the excuse that they need to secure the booking and the amount will be blocked in a pending transaction around 20 working days....what a scam...i'm still waitting for my refound even after i cancelled the entire booking. !!! Do not book with them, they are plenty of nice honest and trustable hotels !!!
H10 Mediterranean village Salou
H10 Mediterranean village hotel . Better than expected great staff - good nightly entertainment. Would be 5 stars buffet Food patchy especially desserts some nights ..menu seafood heavy soft drinks water etc not included .. slightly noisy neighbours 2 nights till midnight and beyond was worst thing and also sadly the water fun park is only for under 12 when bigger kids would enjoy it and it’s big enough and umclear about strict age limits on booking/website
Very little selection of food which looked and tasted awful
My husband and I stayed at the H10 Tenerife Playa Hotel, Puerto de la Cruz from 24th March - 1st April 2023, on a half board basis in a SUPERIOR ROOM (room cost extra). On arrival you can expect to be dropped off around the corner from the Hotel as it’s in a pedestrian only area. Hotel looks nice on entry, but once in the rooms you realise how badly it needs renovated. Rooms are dull and drab and very basic as is the bathroom. Our room smelled strongly of sewage. No sense reporting it, I needed a room with a shower as I’m an amputee, and this was the only one available. No tea or coffee facility, and TV only had news and one other English speaking channel called PICK? Very few British people, mostly older foreigners and not too friendly. It really goes downhill from now on I’m afraid. There’s always a queue at mealtimes. You couldn’t just walk into the dining room. A member of staff sat at the door and took your room number, wrote it on a duplicate form and you took it into the dining room. The waiter then wrote your drinks order on it and gave you back the carbon copy. The Hotel doesn’t accept cash, instead, you get a nice big bill at the end of your stay for the dining room alone as water was 2€ and coke was 3€ for the smallest bottle. After giving your room number etc., you then waited til someone came and sat you at a table. It’s no wonder there was a queue. The food was always cold, there was a microwave though. I can honestly say the food was the worst I’ve ever seen or tasted. The selection was so poor, I couldn’t believe we’d stood in a queue for it. There was only one type of soup, and there was no cold meat selection of any kind either for the time we ate there. Their sweets were worse, usually a piece of sponge cake with a strawberry topping, or the same sponge cake with an orange topping. Sometimes there was the odd chocolate doughnut thrown in. I actually stopped going to the dining room after four days. I couldn’t face it, even the thought of it made me feel sick and still does. If you have booked this Hotel you have our deepest sympathy. On a personal note, and I can honestly say this does not reflect on my review. I feel I should mention this for fear someone else could be seriously injured. On the Thursday before we were due to leave, I endured a horrific experience where I was placed on a faulty ‘POOL HOIST CHAIR’. It broke as I was lowered into the pool. Being an amputee, I could not get off the chair or out of the pool. The next day, I e-mailed and informed the Hotel about what had happened to me. I later received a phone call in my room from a Staff member who gave me the impression she was trying to make a joke of it. I’ve contacted this Hotel numerous times since I got home. They now won’t answer any of my e-mails and neither will there Insurance Company as they know I am seeking compensation. Just another example of what to expect from this chain of Hotels.
Scam alert and onproffesional staff
SCAM ALERT! The website is misleading, there are hidden costs.
On the website it says there is free breakfast, but you have to pay for it.
The staff is very unprofessional.
Hotel is clean enough as you’d expect…
Hotel is clean enough as you’d expect from a 4 star hotel, although quite outdated now and decor/interior fittings probably 10-15 years old.
Beds highly uncomfortable and 3 of our party of 6 ended up with very sore backs after our stay. Air con in all 3 rooms didn’t work efficiently enough and room temperature according to thermometer in the room was always 23*C or higher.
Asked if the Gym could be opened after 8pm and was told no although this wasn’t an issue in previous H10s. Gym equipment also very outdated and badly needing serviced.
Entertainment stops early at 11pm every night (if there even is any on) and lights to the games room where pool tables situated also turned off at 11pm leaving it in darkness.
Me and my partner started throwing a very small soft ball to each other in the empty pool and was quickly told off by the lifeguard who aggressively blew his whistle and rudely wagged his finger at us.
Overall quite a poor experience and would make me think twice about booking another H10.
H10 Delfin Salou
Great Moments, Great Memories
A spontaneous weekend getaway to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic got us more than we bargained for. Ocean el Faro is one of the most amazing places we’ve been so far. The warmth and welcoming staff have us planning yet another visit. We stayed at the adult side, Los Besos, which was quiet and convenient. Concierge service is second to none. As Privilege Guests we enjoyed all the amenities of the hotel. Highlights of our stay: the Japanese restaurant, Mikes Coffee shop and best of all, The Lazy River. Now that we are Premium status we anticipate visiting soon. Thanks to Gabriela ( she was the hostess with the mostest😎), Rosely Rosario ( Our most wonderful Concierge) and Sandy ( our Bellhop).
Kudos to your company. Job well done !
SCAM ALERT - Family room with Sea View
H10 Atlantic Sunset advertises Family Room with Sea View. Family Room Sea View are charged €150-200 more than other family rooms. However, Families are restricted to block one and farthest away from Sea. Thus, Family rooms with Sea View is misrepresentation and scam as it is Side sea view. Please do not book Family room with Sea View. Just book any Family room and you have the same Side sea view.
Please do not add half board option while booking. It is poor quality. They charge separately for tap water. And we are not allowed our own water bottles.
Location requires car.
350 euro night next to elevator no breakfast
Paid around 350 euro for a night through Hotel Tonight app and stayed in room 701. Next to elevator so terrible sound. Cleaning woman knocked on door and opened at 9:15 (Although we check out), breakfast not included (my bad assumed it is for 350 euro), not even water in the room (don’t want to have tap water with my coffee, which is Nescafé btw , so not very good)and very small bed and room. Safe is too small to put MacBook also.
