I'm a costumer of Gutteridge for three years, and in this time I've always been experiencing supreme quality of product and fast delivery with no complaint. I'm utterly satisfied with Gutteridge, and warmly recommend it for all interested in quality menswear.

Schlechte Qualität, schlechter Kundenservice

Schlechte Qualität, noch schlechterer Kundenservice:

Mir wurde ein Kleidungsstück in der falschen Größe geliefert - dieses durfte ich nur gegen Auslage von EUR 15 Portokosten retournieren. Darüber hinaus hatte der Rollkragenpullover nach dem ersten Mal tragen bereits ein Loch (ein klarer Produktionsfehler) - ich habe daher ebenfalls um Retournieren gebeten und folgende lächerliche Antwort erhalten:
Dear customer,
thank you for contacting us.
With regard to your complaint, we would like to inform you that all our garments undergo thorough conformity and quality tests before being made available for sale.
The article, which is the subject of your complaint, has successfully passed these tests. Therefore, no anomaly has been found and it could be an accidental damage.
In light of the above considerations, we inform you that your complaint cannot be upheld.

Regarding the jumper with the hole, we are sorry but this is clearly accidental as it is a hole and is in no way a manufacturing defect in the item or fabric.

Not good…

It costs £30 to return which is an extortionate amount no matter how you look at it so buying from Gutteridge is a double-edge sword.

You don't have the luxury to try on clothes unless you buy in bulk. For that, I'm dropping a star in my review.

EDIT: I just read the policy and it states that you can't return items from different orders in a single box which means you have to send the items back in the same box they arrived which is ABSURD. You will basically lose £30 for every order you return.

EDIT 2; I just received a tax invoice from FedEx which means Gutteridge forces customers to pay VAT after purchasing. I’m going to lose a lot of money and I regret buying from here now. :(

Terrible experience, never again !

I am compelled to share my horrible experience with Gutteridge. Recently, I ordered a wool sweater and it was immediately clear that the item was not new; it bore a repulsive odor so intense that causing me to sneeze.

Given the unacceptable condition of the product, I initiated a return, expecting a straightforward process. To my disbelief, Gutteridge's response was nothing short of insulting. Not only did they doubt my claims, but they also had the audacity to withhold €15 from my refund on a €39 value item. This, despite that I was a good customer to them, I spent over €400 of clothes from their site in recent months.

This experience has shed light that Gutteridge has no regard for its customers as soon as you have an issue with their products. Their actions speak louder than words, demonstrating a blatant disrespect and a disregard for basic consumer rights.

To potential customers, consider this a warning. There are plenty of other brands that value their customers and the quality of their products. For me, I'm done with this brand, they clearly cannot be trusted.

Dear customer, we are sorry for your disappointment, however, as stated in our official channels, our Perfume is sprayed inside our parcels, so this is in no way a defect and if in your opinion the smell was unpleasant, you could keep the garment in the air or proceed with the return as you did, but considering that it was not a defect.

Dlighted customerI

I first came across the Gutteridge store in Napels airport and bought a jacket. I was very impressed with the Gutteridge styling and quality materials. I have subsequently bought online and again I have been delighted with the styling and quality. Considering that the item came from Italy, through France and I assume into England before delivery to me in Northern Ireland, it took just 14 days which I am happy with. Thank you Gutteridge and FedEx.

Worst customer support ever

Worst customer support ever. Requested something for 10 days without an answer. They send somebody to pick up a package and don’t send a fitting waybill within time. Waste of a free day and for the other company which wasn’t able to pick up the package now. Answers on my request are not given at any time.

Missing item in shipment, will not fess up

I ordered two pair of pants one in large and one in medium to try out and keep the one that fits well as I was unfamiliar with the brand's sizing.
They sent me one box with one single pair of pants in Large. When I contacted them, they completely and fully denied having made a mistake. We went back and forth, I sent them photos of the box (there was NO paperwork included in the box as other more professional retailers do).
Why would I lie about a 20 euros (heavily discounted) pair of Joggers??
Needless to say I will not be doing business with them ever again.

I am a very recent Gutteridge customer…

I am a very recent Gutteridge customer and I have so far bought 3 jackets (on sale). The quality seems very good (even working sleeve button holes) and the cut is modern but not too slim. I am looking forward to wearing these jackets and rating more in the coming months.

Taxes to pay on your items, not showed at the checkout

Before to buy something from this company, be caferul, because after there are taxes to pay, they have different prices, if you check on the italian websiter the same item is cheaper then uk website(not because they are including the taxes).. costumer service is by email, absolutely rubbish 0/10 , they tell you to read the terms and conditions, but they don't explain you why there isn't tax not included at the checkout, scamming website,

I hadn't recovered the totally refund…

I hadn't recovered the totally refund after a return :(

I talked with the customer service from Gutterdige and they aren't help me. They replied poorly and didn't care that I was a customer and felt that I had not been refunded for a garment that I returned. Disgusted.

I think they don't communicate well that the return costs 15 euros, it comes out in small print and in a section of the website difficult to access. For the lack of understanding and their lousy customer service I leave them one star, the other is because I liked the clothes I bought.

Bad customer experiencie :(

Costumer service totally absent

Costumer service totally absent, i bought 2 items from this company, buying online and following the sugested size, i received the item at home, but unfortunately one of the item was a bit small, tried to find the item in the website and it was magically disapperead, zero, tried to contact the company, but the only replies are been attached response, i also tried to send it back from the website, but fedex charged me 97.65 pounds of taxes.. when on the website says 30 pounds to return the item.. i refused to do anything else, but for sure i'll never buy anything else from them, and hope someone else before to buy from them knows what are the consequences

Terrible service and quality

Terrible service and quality. I purchased a coat from them about a month ago, and decided to return it upon noticing that the fit and finish is way different from the photos that were listed. I made a request to return the item, however the courier that they sent (that costs Eur30), did not show up. I informed them about this immediately, and they booked another appointment, however the courier still did not bother to show up. After this, I sent them another email informing them about the issue, however received no reply. After that, I was not at home for about 3 weeks, and upon my return, I decided to write them another email telling them that nobody bothered to pass to collect the package (and consequently I did not get my refund), however their reply was that now that 30 days have passed, the product cannot be returned.

In conclusion, it seems to me that this was done on purpose, and that Gutteridge is nothing short of a scam. I purchase fine clothing from other online stores all the time, however this was my first and last purchase from these 'truffatori'. My advice would be to avoid at all costs!

Updated after reply:

Gutteridge failed to reply to my email informing them that the courier still did not arrive the second time. They later came up with the childish excuse that they never received the email. This means that the courier does not arrive on purpose in order to avoid fulfilling returns on their poor quality products.

Beautiful products | Amazing customer…

Beautiful products | Amazing customer service

After purchasing cloths in Venezia - we came back the same day to buy more. Simply an amazing quality and experience with the segment.

Had a small issue with one of the products, after talking to customer service the Gutteridge Team handled it exceptionally well. So even if you’re unsatisfied in some way, you can trust them to make it right.

Poor customer service...

I like Gutteridge products a lot and have been buying them for a number of years.

I have a problem with the very unpleasant experience with their customer service. Here is my order number 00877571.
Every time I write to them to ask what is happening with my package (money), I never get an exact answer, always some unclear and foggy information and I always feel that I am bothering them.

It is a shame that such a great product has such poor customer support.

THEY PUT THE GUTTER IN GUTTERIDGE!

APPALLING!

This is not a one-star review, this is a LESS-THAN-ZERO observation!

When you pay 15 Euros for delivery within Europe (Italy to NL), it should not take two weeks, let alone having your package leave the European Union!

AS it is departing Italy, you receive a precise communication from FEDEX that it will arrive at your doorstep in two days between the hours of 2 and 6. Then, NOTHING, RADIO SILENCE.

Only AFTER all the delivery chaos with FEDEX, do you discover that after leaving Italy, it's radio silence for three days, until the package shows up in ENGLAND. Continued radio silence whilst it moves from the London region to the Birmingham region. What the hell?????

Then several days later, you are given notice of its arrival, but no delivery time. Whilst at work, you are given notice that an attempt was made but you weren't home.

Rewind- As it left Italy, FEDEX informs me to choose a "safe place" should I wish. I did, as always. Now I am being told I wasn't home, so they couldn't deliver it? Those weren't the instruction!

I call FEDEX and I'm told "a signature" is needed, and the driver apparently made TWO attempts. B-S!
I tell them to CANCEL THE DELIVERY. FEDEX tells me only the SENDER can do that! Try contacting Gutteridge, very difficult! Prompt response? Of course not. They indicate- DAYS!

I call FEDEX again. Later the manager at the local FEDEX depot calls me. By dinner, FEDEX is delivering the package. I'm ready to sign for it. No signature device to be found, let alone proper FEDEX van.
I see on the package, in a BRIGHT ORANGE IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION STICKER-

"ALWAYS READ: DELIVERY INSTRUCTION - IN DE BAK AUB"

FEDEX is telling me that a SIGNATURE is mandatory, yet FEDEX is showing me that SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS have been set forth! That is NOT OK!

Furthermore, any attention and resolution from GUTTERIDGE is met with CONTEMPT and DISMISSIVENESS!

Gutteridge did not deliver on the service I paid for. Their response: NO REFUNDS!

(Funny that, a previous order with Ralph Lauren... I ordered using next day service, it came the day after. I contact RL, and they promptly refunded me my money for the service that did not take place. You see, life is simple, ...errors happen, easy solutions, especially when your ultimate goal is to support and retain customers.)

Gutteridge were informed to recall the package by FEDEX. No acknowledgement from Gutteridge.
Further perusal of their website- Returns are at the cost of the customer for "30 EUROS" !!!!!!!
Absolutely shocking! Costing almost as much as the product.

Part of customer service is insuring that the client is never shat upon and given further insult to injury. Gutteridge has failed at client relations 101!

You will notice it is very difficult to track down any department of the Gutteridge organisation.

Gutteridge won't acknowledge who is their legal department. I am publicly informing them to confirm this woman- E. CAMPOLATTANO (Direzione Legale)

UPDATE 13DEC23- Observation of Gutter..'s response on this site:

STOP YOUR GASLIGHTING!

1. If you were sorry for your errors, I would be seeing compensatory results.
2. YOUR deliverer had CLEAR instructions, on a documented ORANGE LABEL, THEY printed, what to do with the package.
3. YOUR deliverer did not take the initiative to return. "I" had to figuratively DRAG HIS *SS back before the end of the day to complete the one job he had to do, by eventually getting into direct contact with your deliverer's SUPERIOR. The client should not be doing YOUR homework and waiting additional unnecessary days to receive YOUR product.
At no time have you taken accountability over any of this, except gaslight the customer.

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST! I recently purchased a jacket from this store in South Italy and my experience has been incredibly disappointing. After just TWO WEEKS and wearing it TWICE, the jacket started showing signs of deterioration, with visible pilling in several areas.

Attempting to address the issue, I visited the store and faced unhelpful staff who insisted we contact customer service to find a solution- even though it was our last night in Italy and therefore do not have time to wait for a solution from customer service. After several failed attempts to get an exchange at 3 different stores, customer service finally dismissed the evident defects in the material and replied that the item is tested for high quality and therefore not defective.

This lack of accountability for a high-end store is unacceptable. I caution future customers about the poor product quality and unhelpful customer service. Extremely dissatisfied.

Avoid this company at all cost!

Avoid this company at all costs! I live in the UK and placed an order for a coat. Cost me £246. I was then surprised with a duties tax bill from FedEx of £98. Which I was forced to pay. The way my complaint was handled by their "customer service team" was abysmal, who kept telling me to refer to their terms and conditions. Handled very poorly. I've bought from EU based companies in the past and still do, not once have I had to pay customs/duty tax. Absolute joke. I would not recommend buying anything from this company.

Italian fashion, but quality like ordered from Wish

I ordered a turtleneck sweater. However, after only 5 times wearing it, there was a hole in the material close to the collar.
I tried to contact Gutteridge multiple times, however, the customer service was not willing to find a solution. They say it is not "bad material", however, I handled the sweater carefully and the hole still appered after only few times of wearing it.
Poor quality materials, poor quality customer service. Very disappointing. Beware of this scam, you can get the same quality from wish
