The quoting process was slick and professional; Simon provided a quote on the same day, which was impressive. Revising the scope of work was also straightforward, and this initial interaction gave me confidence in choosing the company.
However, my experience took a downturn during the actual work. The fitter was unreliable with timekeeping, often failing to show up when promised. I involved Simon, who intervened & ensured the work was completed. He also adjusted the price a little which I appreciated.

The finished work looks good and I’m happy but the site was left quite messy after the job was completed, which was disappointing. While I appreciated the smooth quote process, the execution unfortunately fell short of expectations.

Fabulous project - professionally installed with no fuss and results spectacular. Has transformed my property. Would recommend G&CC especially for Hardie Plank installations.

Eric did a fantastic job of replacing our porch roof, and Gavin made a superb job of our cladding despite enduring the wettest February for years! We are delighted with the finished products. Thank you.

Had a problem with gutter, telephoned the company, they had operatives in the area who were able to attend on the way back from another job. The problem was easily identified, fixed, area was left clean and tidy, very good service. Would not hesitate to recommend,

We had new guttering, soffits, and front cladding fitted to our bungalow. The quality of the work and materials was excellent, and the team were professional, friendly, and tidy throughout.. A great job, really happy, and I would highly recommended this company.

This is the third time I have used this Company for various different jobs. They've done a great job each time, Eric and Charlie work very hard and get the job done without any fuss. This time they sorted what was a big problem for me so I'm a very happy customer. Would 100% recommend this Company.

The contract started badly and got worse. Due to being away they were told that all work should be completed by 31st May and scaffolding removed. Following an upsetting argument between the worker and the office, we had to go on holiday with scaffolding still there and ladders left unlocked. The work was not completed at that time. Since that date, I have had at least 6 visits to complete the work through to January 2026. I was not advised that I needed felt trays (and had not heard of them before). The final result is rain pouring down behind the gutters. The form of contract is somewhat vague as to what is being included. Although the company was always helpful and responded quickly to the faults, these should all have been dealt with at the first installation. I would recommend that the company addresses quality control at the time of installations so that obvious faults can be eliminated and also clarifies the contract so that the customer is aware that without felt trays the gutters will still leak.

My wife and I recently had our guttering, cladding and fascias redone. The work that Tony and co have done is very high standard and put up very quickly. All staff were very friendly and communicated effectively throughout. Would highly recommend this company.

Disaster company, paid over 20k for windows and doors, got no Certass certificate or registration with building control. Poor installation no frame fixings on any windows!!! Composite door dropped but they have refused to rectify. Avoid at all costs. Contact me for any further info.

Cladding installation was carried out by Eric and Charlie. Their workmanship and attention to detail was exemplary. They travelled from Christchurch to Basingstoke everyday and still started work at around 0830 each day finishing around 1600hrs. They left the site clean and tidy at the end of each day and were a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend the Gutter and Cladding Company, and in particular Eric and Charlie.

I had my old concrete gutters removed and replaced with new facias and plastic gutters.
They achieved this with the minimum of fuss; the men were charming, polite and efficient.
I also thought the price was very reasonable.

Had the guttering replaced at the rear of my property. I would highly recommend this Company, good communication, reasonably priced, clean and tidy workmanship. It nice to find a Company with high standards.

Simon came out promptly to look at the problem we were having with our zinc gutters and made very helpful and practical suggestions as to how to proceed. We found everyone very pleasant and straightforward to deal with, and the job was completed speedily and efficiently. We are very pleased with the final outcome and would certainly recommend this company.

Initial contact was friendly, constructive and upfront. We were given choices, information and no hard sell. The actual fitters were great. They worked hard, knew what they were doing and patiently explained all my queries. Definitely recommend the company. (I had new soffits, fascias, guttering, down pipes and a rubber flat roof surface replaced)
