This is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. Their first instruction/advice was to not contact my creditors.They said I could but they told me my creditors would would all lie to me. That was a lie. I decided to to remove my business account credit card from their management which had a total of $660 debt and they said that I would still have to send them more money per month even though they were not responsible for settling $660 worth of debt. We argued about that. A supervisor eventually told me it was because they would be deducting their commission every time I paid them. They are not legally supposed to do that. It is only after paying my debtor back to what was agreed upon that they take their commission. Even though I contacted all my accounts and gave them GaurdianLit's email and phone, Guardian only contected 1 company out of 8. Had I contacted CreditOneBank.com immediately, explained my hardship situation, COB would have paid my minimum amount due for 6 months. Now one of those accounts is in collections because it was too late for me to negotiate a payment plan, with them. All my other accounts I am having to pay all my increased debt back with late fees and incurred interest. My credit scored dropped by 170 points. Accounts I held for over 13 years are no longer available. I fired them 4 months into the program but they still kept money I sent them for the 4th month and sent some to the client after I had fired them. They lied and said they terminated the contract. They took commission of 27% from my original debt amount as opposed to applying the 27% to the amount they negotiated which was half the original amount. I complained to the FTC, CFPB,Tenn AG. I may still file with Calif.AG,Illinois AG and the FBI. All they do is lie,cheat and steal. They did pay back most of the money negotiated with one creditor,but I am left paying back the original debt plus late fees which was more than twice as much. Worst business I ever made. If you want to be treated smoothly with garbage and disaster, this is the best company to deal with.

After I fully funded my settlement
After I fully funded my settlement, they delayed action until my account went to lawsuit. When the settlement was finally paid, they withdrew an additional $1,000 from my bank account without authorization and applied undisclosed fees.
Most concerning, even after payment, they cannot provide a fully executed stipulation for settlement and dismissal or confirm the case has been closed.
Unauthorized charges and failure to properly complete a legal settlement. Not trustworthy.
