Overall a good experience. I appreciate the 10% discount for contract renewal (granted for my paying on time over the last year).
Minus one star for a delay in finalising the contract (delayed communication with my tenancy agency).

I still havent received my guarantor, even though i keep mention the pressure the apartment is putting on me to finish my application. It takes a full work day for anyone to respond to me, and when i call they said they’ll call me back but never do. Im meant to move on the 1st of August. It’s currently the 29th july and there’s still no progress. At this point I’m going to be homeless before i get my guarantor. Ive been doing this since the 22nd july and i still fail to see what my money is being used for.

The price was fair, compared to other rent guarantor companies. I had a few communication issues, but they were sorted out. In the end, I was able to rent the apartment, which was the whole point.

Even when I had a small problem with my bank account details the staff were more than willing to help in any way possible and were patient until the problem was solved! Definitely recommended!!

Brilliant, extremely helpful in sorting out my guarantor for my 2nd year university accomodation considering I'm completely illegible for renting in other means, highly recommend and much much cheaper than other options I could find and are very quick and helpful in live chats.

Resented having to use them but it was necessary in order to navigate a letting agent who happened to be managing my preferred flat.

Putting context aside, they were quick, friendly and efficient. Richard in particular was excellent (5 stars) and really helped me through a stressful process. I will keep this review up to date wrt their continued service throughout my tenancy.

At this initial stage, I would have given five stars if Guarantid could ensure that their clients aren't charged for their services when their tenancy finishes. In my case, the letting agent demanded a 12 month guarantee contract with this Guarantid (is she on commission?) for a six month let with her. Although the let will turn into the standard one month rolling contract at the end of the initial six-month tenancy agreement, there is no option to do the same with Guarantid. This means that if I move after eight months Guarantid will not refund me for the four months of services already paid for that I am not using; this company policy is frustrating and avoidable - hence knocking off two stars.

I will provide a final review when my contract with them comes to an end.

UDPATE 18th August 2021: Went from three stars to one star. I would give them zero if I could. I have tried repeatedly over the last month to get in touch with them and with Richard who had been responsive when securing my business and agreed to refund the 6 months of unnecessary guarantorship if I did indeed move out at the end of the 6 month tenancy agreement. Now it is time for them to make good and return the funds for the next six months in which I will no longer be using their services and I am being ghosted. STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN!!

UPDATE: 8th Sept 21'

Went back to four stars after receiving a phone call apologising for the delay in getting back to me and issuing the refund. Grateful it got resolved in the end, and if you do need a guarantor I do recommend :-)
