Amazing experience at Grover

Amazing experience at Grover. You can easily rent a tech device. Process is straighforward, easy. Receive the device in a couple of days, always excellent conditions (in my case new). Covered by insurance is a plus.

Please note: Rent extension becomes new rent!!!e!!!

You wrote 18 Months, but not 18 Months more, there was a window at the app, there was the new end july 2026, now I have may 2027, that is not good, I am not satisfied with this!!!

This company withholds information

This company withholds information! I feel deceived and frustrated! More than two years ago, I signed my first contract with this company for a phone, and it was very clearly stated on the website that after completing the contract payments, the phone would be mine. And indeed, I paid the contract and the phone became mine.

Months after starting the phone contract, I signed a new contract for a coffee machine, believing it would follow the same promise — that once the contract ended, I would own the product. However, without any prior notice, I signed the contract only to later discover, when I tried to purchase the item, that it could not be bought. They told me I would have to return it at the end of the contract, and without informing me in advance, they renewed the contract automatically. Now more than 24 months have passed, and I still cannot acquire the item, even though I have paid monthly for two years.

They also offered me the option to buy it, but only if I paid half of the item’s price again — approximately €400 — even though a brand-new one costs €500 in a store, and I have already paid €30 per month for 27 months, totaling €810. In other words, I have already more than paid for the item, they have already made a profit from it, and now they want another €400? It is shameful for a supposedly serious company to behave this way, and I feel deceived, since at no point before signing the contract was I informed that the policy had changed. They clearly misled their customers.

I tried negotiating with them, but there was no cooperation, and they showed no willingness to find a solution. Now they say they no longer want to sell the item and that if I want, I can return it, but they refuse to provide any solution for me to keep it.

So what now? I will not return an item that I have paid for more than enough. The item has been used — will they now try to charge me for usage? And if there are any minor damages, will they try to charge me even more? These companies deceive consumers and still treat you like a fool. It’s a disgrace. I do not recommend them, and I want a solution for this!

At no point did the company clearly communicate any policy changes, and they certainly did not inform me before I signed the contract — and do not even try to say that they did, because they did not. The company advertised a product and made a promise that at the end of the contract, the item would belong to the consumer. Now they have changed the rules, and people who trusted the previous policy were “misled” by false promises.

I expect a solution for this, because I paid every month for 27 months, I continue to pay, and now it seems that if I stop paying, I must return an item that has already been more than paid for, or continue paying indefinitely? It’s outrageous!

Each product page specifies whether a purchase option is available or not, as well as the conditions for doing so. This can vary between devices, which is why it’s important to check the individual product details before completing the order.

We also want to clarify that subscriptions do not automatically convert into ownership once the minimum term is completed, unless the product explicitly offers a purchase option. Completing a rental period doesn’t mean the device becomes the customer’s property.

We’re sorry if this created confusion, and we acknowledge the disappointment this has caused.

Sadly not good service!

Waited 2 days to get the order confirmed and nothing! I cancelled it and thought for myself its better to buy it straight! How is it possible 2 days waiting for the confirmation of rhe order? I mean you can confirm it and then it can take 6 or 8 days to get it but at least you should confirm it to your clients! Anyways, i will never use this website again!
