Though I am only using a few of their plugins on my sites, I have always liked the concept of FV themes and plugins.
Access to the resources, setup and usage were straightforward, and the products are useful in my projects. Martin has been quick to respond to my individual support requests.
Over time, this has proven to be a worthwhile decision, since even during the time of transition from FV to GrootMade, the plugins have been working without interruption still to this day.
I also appreciate the concept of a lifetime license in this context (I bought it in Dec 2022)

Site does what's intended to do. Themes, plugins and almost everything you need for your web building experience at one place for an affordable price.

Haven't experienced with GrootMade, but FestingerVault was great. plugins and extensions for Wordpress was great to use.

They have been a long time and very reliable provider of WordPress plugins. I’ve been a customer for a very long time and I’ve had no issues. If you have any questions or need any support, they respond very quickly. It’s overall an amazing service!

They revoked the lifetime membership I paid for, and will only restore it if I write a review. Grootmade is a scam and potentially engaging in illegal activity by denying paying customers access to their service.

I strongly advise anyone considering this company to stay far away.

They attempted to pressure me into leaving a positive review in exchange for restoring access to a license I had already paid for—something that appears to violate Trustpilot rules on incentivized reviews.

This is the exact message they sent:

“After internal discussion, we’ve decided to restore your lifetime license… as a gesture of goodwill. We would like you to leave a review on our Trustpilot page… Please let me know when it’s done, and I’ll ask our admin team to restore your license.”

That is not goodwill—that is coercion.

On top of that, they repeatedly sent invoices trying to charge me again after I had already paid. This raises serious concerns about their billing practices and overall trustworthiness.

Between the review manipulation and repeated billing attempts, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company entirely.

I am very satisfied with their service and wish them continued success.

I purchased a GrootMade Lifetime license on March 27/28, 2026, which was supposed to be a one-time payment.

I want to clarify that I was never a FestingerVault member. My purchase and experience were directly with GrootMade.

After buying the Lifetime license, I was charged again for USD 199 on 7th of April without my authorization. I contacted GrootMade several times and asked for proper clarification and refund details, but I did not receive clear information nor did the money arrive.

Because of this, I opened a chargeback with my bank. I received my money back through the chargeback process.

After that, my GrootMade access was removed / reset, meaning I no longer had access to the Lifetime product I had originally purchased. Because of this, I opened another chargeback with my bank. I received my money back again through the chargeback process.

I have proof of everything, including the original purchase, the duplicate charge, email communication, the chargeback process, and the removal of my access.

I also reported the matter to Stripe, to the Dutch ACM / Authority for Consumers & Markets, and to the FIOD through their online fraud reporting form. In addition, I contacted the Dutch police by email regarding the situation.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend GrootMade.

In my view, this situation raises serious concerns under Dutch consumer protection rules regarding unfair commercial practices and misleading online sales. I paid for a one-time Lifetime license, was charged again, and later lost access to the originally purchased product. I have retained full evidence and am prepared to provide it to Trustpilot, my bank, Stripe, ACM, FIOD, the Dutch police, and any competent legal authority if required.

UPDATE: After I reached out to them, my domain was subsequently banned/blocked by their system, which now prevents me from contacting them or receiving any response from their side. I also have proof/documentation confirming this.

I’ve been using GrootMade on the free plan for a few months, mainly to try out WordPress plugins before deciding whether to buy licenses directly. I use it on fewer than 10 sites, all on staging environments.

Setup was straightforward and easy to understand. Browsing and installing plugins works smoothly, and the overall workflow is simple without unnecessary steps. I haven’t used the updater, AI tools, or VirusTotal features yet, but for basic testing purposes, the platform does what it promises.

The value is clearly there. Being able to test plugins without upfront cost saves a lot compared to buying licenses individually, especially when you’re just experimenting or learning.

I haven’t contacted support, so I can’t comment on that. One downside is that some plugins I was looking for are not available, but that’s expected with any library like this.

Overall, it’s a solid option for hobbyists or anyone who wants to explore plugins safely before committing to purchases. I’d recommend it, especially for testing and staging use.
