I bought a Small Item Cross Cut Sled…
I bought a Small Item Cross Cut Sled (T33987) on 3-17-26. The item with shipping & handling and tax came to $83.67. I received the sled and assembled the miter bar into the sled and checked for alignment on my Powermatic P1000 table saw, the sled was off 1/8”. I then checked to see if my table on my table saw was misaligned to the blade, it was NOT. I disassembled the miter bar from the sled and repacked the sled and all parts in its original box to ship back.
I contacted Customer Service and spoke with Susan. I explained the situation, and she said, “it sounds like the sled is defective.” She further stated, “we’re happy to waive the restocking fee for this return”, and she would request a UPS return label from UPS for me to return the sled. At NO TIME did she ever state I would be responsible for the return shipping charges of a defective part. Why would THEY contact UPS to generate a label if I was going to pay for the return (RGA)?
I received the return label and sent it back UPS as directed. They received the sled on 3-30-26 and credited my account on 3-31-26. Imagine my shock to receive a credit of ONLY $42.16 (when I originally paid $83.67)! I called and spoke with Susan, she stated “We waived your restocking fee, but we do not credit your original shipping (which I can understand), and the UPS charge for your return was $24.52, which makes your refund $42.16.” Again, why am I paying to return a defective item? NOT HAPPY!
I have been an avid woodworker for over 40 years, and delt with many companies, I have never had a company treat me this way. Needless to say, I will NOT be doing business with Grizzly again!
As of 4-3-26 I heard from Customer Service, and they have refunded me the $24.52 for the return shipping charges. Thank you Customer Service, though it shouldn’t have gone this far.
Replacement motor
Ordered a replacement motor and it came with the wrong pulley belt. The belt has been discontinued and they didn’t bother telling me. While installing new motor realized that the motor bracket slot did not match the installation hole. Called Grizzly and they informed me that the motors being shipped to them had misaligned bracket slots so they suggested I grind a new slot. Unacceptable customer service.
Very disappointed in Grizzly.com
Very disappointed in Grizzly.com. I ordered an item, and they shipped to my old home address. They said it was my fault, and there is nothing they can do about it. I will not be buying from Grizzly any longer and cannot recommend them. Customer service was hard to reach, and rude.
Grizzly has gone corporatism! It took money and ran!
We have bought and used grizzly equipment for years, always had good customer service and happy with and even recommended the equipment! I am not sure what happened to Grizzly, We had a belt break on a jointer, ordered the exact part from parts list. Got the part and according to the manual parts list, they printed the wrong part # in the Manuel! They wanted me to pay shipping back and 10% restocking fee, plus another shipping fee to get the right size! Do not recommend at all!
Got a tool from them
Got a tool from them. used less than 45 mins. From the first minute, got so hot would physically burn your hand. Then they tried stealing money from me. Then lied to try and cover it up
CORRESPOJNDENCE WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU I am rejecting this response because:
Finally, the Company did refund my money. Does not change the fact they have, and will steal from their customers. FACT, they are COMPLUSIVE LIARS to try and save face. They tried to send me the SAME EXACT COPY AND PASTE reply THREE TIMES. While they LOVE to lie and stete tool had a lot of use, COMPLUSIVE LIARS to try and save face from STEALINBG from customers, this tool had ZERO wear. Was less than 3 weeks old and used in totality less than 45 minutes. They try to list a tensioner as non functional so not able to test. FACT, that part was NON FUNCTIONING when tool was sent, causing the issue. NOT WEAR. Bottom line, THEY STEAL FROM THEIR CUSTOKMERS IF THEY CAN AND THEY LIE TO TRY AND RUN COVER WHEN CAUGHT,
I thank the BBB for their assistance in this matter and getting my money returned. However I ask that this be added to complaint so other possible customers can view and see the dishonesty of this company
Sincerely,
Greg Johnson
As of 2025
As of 2025, my experience with Grizzly Industrial has been very disappointing. The products I received were poor-quality, Chinese-made tools, and to make matters worse, the company refused to honor their warranty — on an item worth only $20. I can only imagine how difficult they would be to deal with if a more serious issue arose.Take a look at their record on customer service at the BBB . It also mentions that Grizzly Industrial is NOT BBB accredited .
good luck receiving your item...
all this company care about is to get your money. after this, good luck receiving what you bought. They simply say, its out of our hand, deal with the shipping company, we are not responsible. They are responsible for using a totally worthless shipping company like T Force!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased a grizzly planer G0453Z 5…
I purchased a grizzly planer G0453Z 5 years ago for about $2,500. Right from the start. the gearbox was leaking oil, but not bad enough that I wanted to pull apart the gearbox and fix it. Now it is leaking moderately getting oil on the side of the machine and on the garage floor. The parts I need are a gasket and an o-ring total price for both $4. But, for these parts which could be put in an envelope and sent with a stamp, they want $9 to ship it and they would not waive the charge. I should have done something while it was under warranty, so that's on me. But if you look at the internet, 90% of the complaints are of leaking gearboxes, so the company is well aware that this is a problem. A good company would have sent me the parts out at no charge. We're talking about $4 for $2,500 machine. I was ready to buy a $3,500 table saw but I will never buy anything from this company again.
Worst customer service I have ever…
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I’ve been a long standing customer of Grizzly and have spent over $8000 with the since 2020. My final purchase, a $3200 table saw has been absolutely horrible experience. I can’t get a replacement for a faulty part which means I can’t use the saw the way it was intended. I’ve made numerous attempts to get an update from Grizzly after initial request and they are completely ignoring me. They simply don’t care about their customers after they get your money.
I will NEVER spend another dime with them.
UPDATE: more emails, a phone call and then after a very unfavorable review on “their” website, I finally got someone’s attention which resulted in an experienced technician calling me to resolve problem. It should have never taken this much effort to get someone’s attention.
Horrible experience
Purchased a bandsaw earlier in 2024. Decided I wanted to get the mobile base. I wrote to the company who told me which one to get. Turns out it’s the wrong size and needs two shorter rails. They delivered me the wrong one August. Told me they would order two of the correct rails. They did and are still on back order. It’s almost three months. Their customer service is horrible. They told
Me
To get a saw and cut the two I have. Seriously? I paid to hack a new product? How about getting the correct ones and ship already. Have not been able to use a $1000 bandsaw since I got it.
Will Never order from them again. Perhaps I’ll try Jet tools next time.
I am convinced that customer service is mainly AI generated. I even saved all the emails I sent and received back. Steer clear of here.
Number not available after topping up
Wanted to purchase a colombian number, topped up my account and then when trying to purchase: number anavailable. Lost 3 USD forever which are now topped up.
Replacement parts shortage
I order a replacement motor for my G1023 table saw on Feb 9 2024. I ordered knowing they were on back order.
Since then I've received 7 different delivery dates which keep getting pushed back.
My family and I had been purchasing several Grizzly tools and top end machines.
My saw has been down all this time.
My confidence in Grizzly is quickly slipping.
I may be forced to purchase a new saw and you can be sure I won't be looking at Grizzly.
A dedicated Grizzly costumer until now.

If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Every new piece of Grizzly junk I have purchased over the last 8 years has had one issue or another within a couple of years if not months. Band saw with magnetic brake, the stop button does not work and therefore the saw can't be shut down without removing the power supply. Ive changed the part 3 ties and always the same thing after a few weeks. Major safety concern. I finally installed a cutoff switch but by cutting off the power, the magnetic switch does not engage.
0696x Table saw. After 4 years motor just hums. Every tech new for sure what the problem was. Pay money, buy a new switch. Same problem. Capacitor replaced. Same problem. Magnetic switch spend 2 hours rewiring and of course pay more money. Same problem. Oh well I guess you have to replace the motor at close to $600, and maybe that will work. Dust collector, I won't even get into. Went straight into the trash after 6 months. Oh and they won't accept the parts back after Ive tested them.
Garbage company, garbage machinery, garbage service. Pay a few bucks more a buy a saw stop, powermatic anything but this.
never ever will shop from these clowns…
never ever will shop from these clowns anymore, it took me 7 months to be able to return the defective edge bander they sent me, also the table saw I bought had electrical issues, took me also months to get that repaired, they keep making false promises customer service sucks.
I gave them 2 stars instead of 1…
I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because they finally fixed the problem they sent me after a year of arguing that their factory quality control took a day off. They refused to fix a broken piece of equipment they sent me for a year. If this is how it is I wont be purchasing anything with the name Grizzly ever again.
Grizzly SUCKS!!!
Grizzly delivery and customer service sucks! I have been waiting 8 weeks for the second box (fence and rails) for my table saw which was lost in shipping. My table saw is half assembled and I had to buy and INCRA fence and rails which by the way is way superior to the Grizzly. Every time I see the table half assembled my stomach turns. I have tried without results to get it with no success. If you have a second choice I would go with that and avoid Grizzly all together. I will NEVER buy anything from Grizzly ever again!!
Good tools Great staff I Will buy all Grizzly
I have no IDEA what all these negative reviews are about some or most are just whiny people. I have had nothing but success with Grizzly Tool. Everything was delivered in a timely matter, I had questions promptly, courteously answered I bought a band saw 40th anniversary edition I noticed it was on sale for 1250.00 then after purchase they lowered the price again I inquired about it and they refunded me the difference. Even had a problem with the zero clearance nylon throat plate for my table saw...they refunded me.. I asked why I didn't get the 5 % off with the add that pops up they applied it. Great people. I spent in the lst month about 5k tablesaw and bandsaw and other misc stuff I would not go anywhere else!
I purchased a drum sander model G0920 &…
I purchased a drum sander model G0920 & it arrived ontime but was missing parts. Contacted customer service & they sent out the parts, however they got lost at UPS. I had to initiate a claim & grizzly is telling me I have to wait 8 days for the investigation. No call backs from customer service, called them & asked if they could ship replacements, no answer. I feel I did nothing wrong & Grizzly doesn't seem to care , at this point I would never buy from them again.
Bad tube bending dies
Bought a 1” tube bending die and didn’t use it until months after I bought it. When I did finally use it, it damaged every piece of tubing I used it on. Contacted Grizzly tech support to have it replaced because it was under warranty and was told they would send me a new die. They sent me a gift card for the price I paid before tax and said the die was out of stock. They never informed me they would be sending a gift card instead of a new die. I don’t need a gift card as I’ve realized their dies are junk and I switched to a different brand. They refuse to refund my money and now I’ve got a useless gift card for less than I paid. Yes I’ve already tried to go about this the right way, but I’m unfortunately stooping low enough to leave a review as I am out $189.58 that I will not see again as well as a couple hundred dollars in 1” aluminum tubing that was damaged by their die.
DO NOT ORDER (THEY DOUBLE CHARGE YOU)
I ordered some drill bits and then they didn’t take the money right away. So I placed the order again (an exact duplicate order) that one went through right away as I was actually charged like I was supposed to be. What did these people do? They charged my account AGAIN! And mailed me the exact same order they already sent me. I am still waiting on my refund as I was given some bs spiel that they need to “inspect” the package and make sure everything is in it. I didn’t even open the box. They got it this morning and I told him they need to hurry up and give me my money back because I need that money for bills and they don’t seem to give a crap. You can clearly see by the return packages that they received that it had not been opened or tampered with, and all the items are inside. I’m very annoyed I will never order from them again.
