Unresponsive support

Unresponsive support, our BGP session has been down from last 1 month with no update from them. I have a colocation with network from them which I am moving away finally. The account manager is unresponsive, support phone lines does not exist and ticket support is left pending for months now without solutions. SLA contracts are breached every month, definitely not recommended.

Terrible Support and a very difficult Company to contact

Over the past few years this company has experienced a significant decline in support performance and become increasingly difficult to contact

I renewed my domain and email services in March 2026 and both services are marked as paid until April 2027. On Thursday 9th April my email service ceased to function and my domain indicated that the grace period had expired resulting in the loss of domain access. I raised a support ticket but did not receive any response until late on the fifth day. In my many attempts to contact support I utilised their AI-based chat service which only directed me in circles and kept asking me to raise a support ticket or call a non-existent phone number, I emailed them raised further tickets. I also emailed and messaged there Pakistan office. As a last resort I messaged the CEO Jawaad Arif via Facebook message and left posts on FB. After the Facebook posts I received an email from support apologising for the delay and stating that the problem was now fixed.

Before signing up with Grid Hosting I would recommend that you look at there Companies House information and reports, before you use this company.

This is only a small example of the numerous issues and inadequate support I have encountered over the past few years. Regrettably I will be forced to terminate my current contract when it expires. I would advise prospective customers to consider other providers that offer reliable support services.

Piss poor

Piss poor. Decided to charge me out of the blue for services that I'd cancelled over two years ago. Support is shocking, still waiting on a refund.

Writing this during a Gridhosting outage on Monday 2nd March 2026. They appear to do maintenance work during the working day, generally resulting in lengthy outages - hours of disconnection.

Trying to get a refund

Trying to get a refund of an overpayment for over 6 months. Phone line not working. No response to emails. Cases are closed with no response.

The only reason I'm still with them is my credit is 4 years more service which actually is working.

Was once a fantastic company

I had several hosting plans with them. They were excellent for years, however. due to lots of unplanned outages and a very unprofessional approach to customer services I had to cancel all my plans & migrate at great inconvenience to myself, Now they keep hounding me for payment, even when I cancelled all services in the portal

Charged me after cancellation. Disgusting support.

After cancelling my email hosting with them they continued to charge me for both accounts. Every time I contact them they ask for the invoice number, despite them not actually invoicing me for the charges and me giving them all the account details multiple times. Avoid this company like the plague.

I wish I could rate them with minus stars

If I could rate them with minus stars I would. This company is an absolute disgrace. My domain is paid up to date and auto-renew switched on yet it stopped working and when I checked their website it was showing as expired, I contacted them and they told me it expired in March 2025 yet it shows that it is paid up to March 2026, I sent them a copy of their invoice showing this and marked as paid, they have never replied and my domain now shows as cancelled!

We asked for Plesk logins for a domain…

We asked for Plesk logins for a domain that we own whose account payment is current but 17 days on no Plesk profile, no login details, just a final response that ATS is looking into our issue and will get back to us? How difficult is it to make Plesk credentials for an account that has been active for more than one year,, was billed and paid for?

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish, very slow and unable to host a basic wordpress site without major problems. avoid if possible as the only way they try and fix it is by trying to upsell you

Terrible

Terrible, terrible email service provider. The interfaces are clunky and badly designed. The email sending is slow and delayed. Searching for emails is so slow. Terrible. Avoid if you can.

One to avoid

I signed up with Grid Hosting to host my email address about a year ago and after loads of problems getting it to work at all (e.g. it simply doesn't work with Outlook) there have been numerous "outages" ever since and each time they say that they are doing another security upgrade. It must be the most "secure" email host on the planet. Today they're down again and claiming that it's a fire somewhere. I get the impression it's some kind of semi-amateur back-bedroom operation. I've given it one more than a single star because it works occasionally.
