The installation of the batteries etc…

The installation of the batteries etc was very second rate. AC sheets very roughly cut and very roughly affixed to existing wall.
We have contacted Green on a number of occasions and little effective response recieved

Installation went well

Installation went well, however the original invoice did not come, the next invoice we received it said we were 9 days late on payment, which was embarrassing. We paid the invoice immediately.

Started off with our first call

Started off with our first call. Thomas answered and was very professional. He gave us all the info we needed with no up-selling. He understood exactly what we wanted. We checked the market and decided to go Green.com.au. Then William of Service was also so professional with his responses in organising installation. Our installers Stefan and Matt were also very professional and came on time and did a great job getting rid of our old gear and installing the new. Since installation Stefan has also been very helpful. This has been a most satisfying experience all round and can only recommend everyone uses Green.com.au. Thanks guys

Home battery 5* experience

If you are unsure about buying a home battery from any of the unknown companies, contact Green.com.au great advice and customer service. Install was very neat and was up an running quicker than I expected. They organised everything with the government rebates. It was a 5* experience.

Beware of Green

Initial sales experience was great with being promised a priority install July 2025 if signing up, along with my personal power distribution requirements not being an issue.
More phone calls and a visit from one of Green's contractors in November 2025 to ensure our requirements were okay with a final installation date some 7 months after the promised date. I was then told it was not possible to complete what we required without incurring a $1200 additional charge that they wanted authorised so they could reconnect our power which was down for 7 hours instead of the 2 we were told prior. It felt like blackmail despite my records of phone conversations and visits by Green's contractor it had come to having our house without power or water. One of the issues was the battery communication to the inverter due to a superseded battery BMS. How is this possible? The labelling of the circuit breakers is also barely legible, despite the original traffolyte labels being perfectly legible when removed.
I have not paid this invoice, messaged to verify but it took days to get a return call. Green was prompt in sending out the full invoice without resolving this issue (which is still ongoing).

The additional $1,200 cost relates to the upgrade of your switchboard to be able to provide full home backup requested on the day of installation. Your original quote was for essential circuit backup, but we were able to accommodate your request with this additional cost, as discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.

Since your review, your concerns have been escalated to senior management. Our team has made multiple attempts to contact you to discuss the installation and work through any outstanding issues, however we’ve been unable to reach you. Had a great experience with this Green

Had a great experience with this Green, very professional very quick and efficient. I was always quite hesitant about solar panels and batteries, always had the idea that all this was a cash grab from these companies until I went with Green and I went from paying $2000 a quarter on my electricity bill to $600 a quarter. I’m super happy with the outcome and and changed my mentality about solar completely, highly recommend using Green

Had a 13.34kwh battery installed

Had a 13.34kwh battery added to my existing solar setup. Tom (sales) assisted me to select an appropriate battery size. He was easy to contact via phone call, txt and email, and was always polite. Taking the time to sort things out with me.
Kevin took over with the logistics of installation, and did this with a minimum of fuss and much quicker than I'd expected. Kevin was also very pleasant and easy to get in touch with. The above 2 employees ensured that I received the max govt rebate by making it all happen in time before the rebate stepped down. Thanks guys!

Zhe Tong was the installer and was polite, efficient, knowledgeable and easy to chat to and ask questions of. Thanks to Zhe and his team.

The battery is working as expected in first week. Minimal grid energy usage since it was installed.

My one suggestion or gripe with the entire green.com.au experience is that it would help a lot if they visited the site prior to install to guarantee the installation area would meet the Aust Standards. Would have eased my concerns with having a suitable installation site.

Thanks to William too who ensured that I received the warranty, CCEW and paperwork after the job was done.

Overall, very happy with result and would recommend green.com.au

Overall an excellent experience

Overall an excellent experience with green.com. Quick turnaround from selection to installation. Great advice from James and very prompt quoting process. Installation was very professional and good follow up. There was a hiccup after the inspector came in that the system was not operating correctly. This was quickly dealt with over the phone guidance to fix the problem. It only needed a reset. Also the installer came back to check everything the next day. Green are very easy to contact and they follow through on everything. Great experience and I can heartily recommend them.

The sales process was efficient and…

The sales process was efficient and well handled. However from there it's all been downhill for me. I'm now nearly 4 months since signing a contract and paying a deposit. The summer months that would have been the best time of the year to take advantage of the system is drawing to a close. Multiple emails back and forth requesting an install date. Non committal replies. Then no replies. Called them twice - promised return calls ' soon '. No calls. Hate to say it - Avoid. Seems to sell when they cannot supply ....
