When I booked my Italy - Greece trip through Greca i didn't know what to expect since I was not able to find many reviews. I typically do not write reviews but I feel it really helps people make decisions about travel, overall my trip was excellent, excursions and transfer on time, communication was excellent and very well organized, the only downsized was probably some hotel options and the fact that for the Italy portion of my trip i did not get the hotel details until about a week before traveling, which left me little time to check the reviews and options around the hotels. Some of the hotels i was not happy with and there was not an option to change the hotel, however, I have to admit the hotels were not as bad as I thought they would be, but at the same time they were definitely not 4* hotels.

I definitely recommend Greca and I would use them again for sure, it was really stressed free vacation with plenty of sites to visit but at the same time with the ability to have some time to do things on your own. Guides, Drivers, and staff for all hotels were very nice and helpful at all times.

Highly recommend Greca for a stress free vacation. All logistics were taken care of, from hotels to transportation to people to meet you at each location. And you have the freedom to do what you want in each place. Ideal for independent people like us. Hotels were great, and everything ran like a charm. Greca was very communicative and easily handled changes to our hotel stays and flights.

On my last trip to Italy, all the plans made by Greca worked perfectly, except the Tour to the Colosseum because I never managed to meet the group. I reported it to Greca and was reimbursed for the full cost of the tour. This shows how trustworthy this agency is.

I was very impressed with the personal service from this company. I have been in the travel business for over 30 years and can say this company makes you feel like you are their only customer.
One of their reps met us at our hotel to review our entire trip on the first day. He even accompanied our driver from our hotel in Athens to our ferry to help us navigate which ferry was ours, etc. Very impressed!

You've been very accommodation to my needs and flexible with our travel plans. I'm not sure yet if we'll go with you,but I definitely don't have anything against your company so far. I'll be in touch soon. Thank you

Great experience with getting responses to all my questions and concerns by George @ Greca Travel to be able to complete my planned itinerary before catching a cruise. Looking forward to touring with them in September.

6 nights 2 Athens, 2 Mykonos 2 Santorini.
I am giving a 4 because it is very difficult to communicate with "agents" Emails are delayed quite a bit and when you call it is very difficult to understand with me only speaking English. And they are not able to help much always having to contact another department.
BUT all in all we had a great time. Those that met us in Athens were wonderful and full on information. Very helpful. Sat with us in hotel and went over everything. We were picked up at airport with a smile and taken to the ferry with no problems It was so nice having all the transportation taken care of for us.
Check what hotels you are given depending on star level you pick. And don't be afraid to have them change it for you.
We liked that we can pick our own tours in Mykonos and Santorini or do nothing if you choose! You are on your own the entire trip unless you choose a tour. So that is very nice if you dont like tour groups.

Overall we had a nice trip to Italy we used Greca. We liked the hotels and the excursion ( we visited Sorrento and Maiori- beautiful. Out dissatisfaction was with the transfers and communication issues throughout the trip. Our pickup transfer was not at the appointed location, phone numbers provided by Greca did not work to the contractor- we had to pay out of pocket. Greca has refused to refund this saying my contact number changed - which it has not and was used throughout the trip. Subsequently on each transfer there was incorrect information- phone numbers and incorrect transfer details that I had to correct through multiple contacts. After the initial issue, this was stressful. On our excursion to Capri, there was no information provided except a phone number - no details of the name of the company and needed details for the meet up. My experience was Greca acted more like a travel agent - not a tour company with proactive communications. We were left disappointed.

We had a wonderful time in Greece, and Greca was the perfect company to book through! The Elliniko package included the locations we wanted for our anniversary trip and everything was exactly as stated. We did upgrade to the five star hotels and our hotels in Mykonos and Santorini were fantastic! All of our transfers were on time and spoke clear English. I would highly recommend Greca and the Elliniko tour if you are planning a trip to Greece!

Responsiveness. But not all questions were answered promptly. Still waiting for one asked nearly 2 weeks ago hence 4 - otherwise would have given 5* in pre-sales responsiveness

We booked the Medusa trip to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. We loved every minute of our vacation. We had one day that was a guided tour of the Modern Acropolis Museum and then of the Acropolis. Helen, our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. The rest of the time was basically free time, which we loved. Our biggest concern was transportation, Greca tours did not disappoint. From our pickup at the Athens Airport to our Hotels. The transfer to the Port to catch our ferry boats, someone was waiting for us at every destination and always on time. Every hotel we stayed at had the friendliest and most helpful staff. My daughter had a birthday while we were in Mykonos. The staff went out of their way to arrange a wonderful birthday celebration at a restaurant with mostly locals. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday to her. We would definitely use Greca tours again!!

Greca operations are fragmented. It is not a real operator .They are reseller and can't control operations. We have been left at the airport twice a week.

We reserved a day trip from Naples, Italy to Pompeii/Capri. There was no communication about a change to the meeting point in Naples. The transport service booked by Greca Travel did not acknowledge that we were at the meeting point. We were at the meeting point and offered to take a taxi. The transport service refused and marked a no-show. We were not provided the tour, no fault of ours. The Tour company kept the amount we paid. We wrote the Tour company. We requested a refund for the amount we paid Greca Travel. A refund has been denied. A partial refund has been denied.

I booked a trip to Greece and Turkey with them. Everything went great with the transfers, hotels and excursions. Great experience!

Company over charged me for tours, hotel room, spent thousands of dollars when I could of handled everything myself for greater quality and better value. Charged me $340 for a hotel that was advertised for $50/night.

Unfortunately I could not attend the tour and they contacted me, understood my reasons and returned the payment we had made. FANTASTIC!!!

First and foremost,your wrong ,leaving out the important part,you mention because ,due to the timing constraints, we can't get refunded for half the cost.and I understand the time constraints, the question is do you?if time is critical,wouldn't you be contradicting yourself,since your company couldn't get back to us ,mind u we have all the email records,showing proof to the crucial time constraints,of 9 days before reaching out to us,then trying to sound sincere,on this review page ,like you did so much to try to get our money to us,bottom line is your company failed to get back to us at the earlier dates,when we were looking for help from your company ,is it because we paid in full,is it, your company can't except they made a mistake and do the rite thing ,we not asking for all ,just half ,what we should've got since we fell in that bracket on your policy.when we first tried to reach out,1 maybe 2 days without responding to your customer,is maybe a Lil reasonable but 9 days ,come on Greca,look into this because definitely we are ,thnks for not being fair especially on your own negligence, thnk u ,will be hearing from us soon

Excellent tours on all three days of my short visit to Athens. Would definitely recommend Greca and would use them again.
