I ordered a mobility scooter

I ordered a mobility scooter. It was delivered when they said it would be by 2 pleasant guys, one of which showed me the controls etc and left it in a suitable place as requested.
I’ve had no cause to contact them (up to now) for any after sales care, but so far I’m satisfied!

The experience was great and so easy…

The experience was great and so easy from start to finish.Getting this scooter was such a life saver I now have alot more options eg I don't have to get the car out for a trip to local shops now I can pop on my scooter and go. This was also a great help to Getting from the hospital car park to the ward my husband was on for 4 weeks without the help of great British mobile I would not have been able to visit my critical ill husband .

I was impressed.

I was impressed by the website description and the price. I ordered a Sterling Sapphire 2. It arrived well boxed on its own pallet. Included was a comprehensive User Manual. So I set off about a month ago on my new scooter, and I have no regrets at all, especially if you compare my price with a local mobility retailer whose price is nearly double, for a comparable machine.

Amazing service

Amazing service. Ordered a scooter for Mum on Saturday 22nd March 2025, got a phone call on Monday morning 24th March to say could deliver in the next 30 minutes. It was with us by 12 noon, fully assembled! The gentleman spent time showing us all the controls and how to take it apart to get it in the car boot. Given Mum a new lease of life. Thank you so much.

Best thing I ever did

The best thing l ever did was to get myself the sterling 425 mobility scooter it has changed my life. Great British mobility were excellent with their help and support. I would use them again

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I'll update later this company is a joke and should wear robbers masks. They care not for people's lives or health, at this point my family are left with no choice but to approach press, trading standards and the ombudsman for furniture retail. It's disgraceful the way my father has been treated I have witnessed staff abuse him for trying to ask if they enjoyed preying on the weak and vulnerable. I witnessed him being laughed at, mocked and ridiculed by these "big men" My Dad is not well enough for this I'll fight for him to my last breath let's see how easy it is to be ripped off completely as he has been to date despite an imaginary non enforceable "warranty". I will ensure if nothing else, it's well documented. Already they've tried bullying him by arriving unannounced leaving a voicemail late on Friday and then arriving Monday morning without confirmation while a nurse was attending and a Dr due. This mattered not to them who are now attempting poorly to pull off not even checking on broken, poor quality goods reported 3 months ago while well within warranty. As a result, they offered to call when my Dad had a hospital appointment as sick and disabled people often do. Because he couldn't do the day that suited them then they show up unannounced, as mentioned re an unconfirmed voicemail, before trying to pressure him into an engineer visit in excruciating pain as a nurse and Dr wait. Priorities all wrong no moral compassion they have called my Dad a "rip off". If you appreciate that treatment by all means shop with them. If not, avoid the emotional upset and atrocious treatment. Pretend gangsters posing as salesman not the brightest either. Obviously love ripping off sick, vulnerable people who aren't strong enough to fight back. I hope you're staff are proud of their little self's. This matter is far from finished and all necessary can and will be easily documented.

We acknowledge your recent communications and concerns regarding your warranty claim; however, we must address several critical points regarding this matter.

As previously communicated your warranty period was nearing its conclusion with only 1 day left on the warranty (hardly well within warranty) when you first emailed in threatening to "destroy our business" unless we allow you to return the chair after 364 days for a full refund a request that is to most obviously impossible and unreasonable . Despite multiple attempts to schedule an inspection of the product in question, you have consistently declined to allow access for our technicians or authorized representatives and the warranty that had 1 day left has now elapsed more than 3 months making any claim against the manufacturer for a valid warranty issue impossible.

Furthermore, we must reiterate that your repeated threats of online defamation and business disruption, as mentioned in your previous communications, are unacceptable and will not influence our decision-making process. We operate within established company policies and legal frameworks, and we cannot accommodate demands based on coercion or intimidation.

Our commitment remains to fair and reasonable customer service. However, due to your continued refusal to allow an inspection, despite our repeated requests, and the expiration of your warranty, we are unable to proceed any further with your claim.

We have acted in accordance with our terms and conditions and applicable consumer law. We strongly advise that you cease any further threatening or harassing communications. We are prepared to take legal action if necessary to protect our business and employees.

My new Vista DX

Ordered on a Monday delivered same week on a Friday. Excellent service and communication throughout, I would order from again without hesitation.
Very competitive prices and free delivery.

FANTASTIC, most trustworthy!!!

There was a mistake in the order,to benefit themselves, but as soon as they were able to correct the problem they did.That was before I was able to even ring them
I call that FANTASTIC made me relax.
they are so patient caring and kind.I not only got a FANTASTIC scooter I also used a most honest 😀 company.That MEANS so much to me Thank you so much.I would recommend them to anyone who needed

I bought a scooter from these guys just…

I bought a scooter from these guys just before Xmas. I was unsure what to get as I wasn't sure what would be suitable for my needs. I spoke to Scott who was very knowledgeable asking all sorts of questions to get an idea on my needs. I decided on the galaxy 2 and I got to say I am not disapointed. It was absolutely perfect however where I live there has been a lot of work going on and I was getting a lot of punctures. So I rang up to see what I could do to avoid this in future again spoke to Scott and he suggested solid tyre's. So he got it arranged and from the call to the engineer was at my door was less than a week. The engineer was polite and friendly and had it sorted in no time. I could not be happier. Thank you so much scott

Excellent service

We bought a Kymco Mobility scooter from Great British Mobility for my son; Scot was the gentleman who assisted us telephonically. From the first call to the delivery was an absolute pleasure to deal with him.
The delivery, at a nominal extra charge was done professionally and the scooter was explained and demonstrated to us until we understood all the mechanics and workings.
5 stars all the way.

Order on Christmas Eve

Order on Christmas Eve. Delivered on the 27th couldn’t be happier. I’ve had to ring them once to figure out how to adjust my seat and they were very friendly and helpful. Recommend

After sales is appalling

After sales is appalling. The selling experience was positive, however the batteries I've reported as poor performance, they won't allow for me to make a local shopping trip. I've had them under 3 months and reported them as poor, about a month ago and their response was they are short staffed and would contact me between the run up to Xmas or New year, but I never heard from them again ! My previous scooter's batteries have always lasted 18 maths to 2 years, allowing me the security that it can make the journey to and from my destinations. My old scooter was 10 years old so
I'm aware of scooter and battery maintenance. However, when I purchased the mobility scooter they were prompt. I'm now seeking legal advice under consumer law, as the product is under a 12 month warranty.

Superb, efficient and friendly service

From the first telephone call to place an order, to the very fast delivery of my S700 scooter to the fast and efficient follow-up call to Scott I am absolutely delighted with efficient and friendly manner in which I have had the pleasure of dealing with this company. Full marks from me on all counts. I even received help on filling out the DVLA registration form. The scooter arrived fully assembled and I am delighted with it.
