Took my autistic daughter who has…

Took my autistic daughter who has severe sensory issues to Gravity Norwich today and she was super excited for this. We drove 2 hours from our house only to be told my child cannot participate on the trampolines unless she wears the orange socks they provide. Baring in mind my daughter had grippy socks on of her own which were seamless and needed for her autism. The staff still tried to ask my daughter to try the orange socks on clearly not understanding sensory autism and how it works at all which made her feel so uncomfortable. My daughter was left feeling embarrassed, upset and discriminated due to this. We previously attended flip out in Peterborough and the staff were so kind and understanding of my daughter’s needs and let her participate in her own grippy socks. It’s shocking to me that in 2026 things like this still aren’t in place for children with autism and the company and staff should be ashamed of themselves. Alongside this the place looked filthy, run down and way too over crowded!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I cannot help but question the judgment that brought me here

Upon entering the venue, I was immediately struck by a pervasive and deeply unpleasant odour suggestive of dampness and ingrained uncleanliness, creating the distinct impression that the premises had been neglected for a considerable period. The atmosphere was disorderly and inadequately managed, with young children moving about recklessly and colliding with others, while staff members appeared not only disengaged but openly discourteous, even initiating an unnecessary confrontation with my daughter without provocation. The situation deteriorated further in the trampoline area, where clearly stated safety instructions—limiting each trampoline to a single user—were flagrantly disregarded. Fully grown adults repeatedly mounted the same trampoline as my daughter, exhibiting a troubling indifference to basic safety norms. This conduct left her visibly distressed and too intimidated to participate properly, fearing injury from others’ heedless actions. Regrettably, those concerns materialised when she was forced off the trampoline on at least two occasions, yet staff failed to intervene, enforce rules, or demonstrate any duty of care. The equipment itself appeared substandard, and numerous surfaces were unpleasantly sticky to the touch, reinforcing the overall impression of poor hygiene and systemic neglect. The entire experience was profoundly disappointing, characterised by unsanitary conditions, deficient supervision, and a disregard for customer safety that I found both alarming and unacceptable. I strongly caution others against visiting this establishment.

Poor Customer Service re. Gift Vouchers

Very disappointing ... My son was given a £40 Gravity Bluewater gift voucher as a birthday present, which unfortunately was mislaid and only found shortly after it expired.
I contacted customer services to ask whether there was any possibility of an extension or alternative (such as partial credit or a discounted replacement), and was happy to pay an admin fee. The 'Customer Excellence Champion' who responded was polite but very firm that no goodwill gestures, extensions, replacements, or alternatives were possible, even after checking with a manager.
I understand that vouchers have expiry dates and terms and conditions, but was disappointed by the lack of flexibility or goodwill in what felt like a reasonable request, particularly for a child’s gift that had only recently expired.
Potential customers may wish to be aware that expired vouchers appear to have no discretion applied under any circumstances.

AVOID Voucher Purchases - Misselling

AVOID - con artists - mis-sold me gift vouchers which state "perfect for fans of immersive gaming". Now being told by Gravity that Immersive Gamebox is excluded and I can't get a refund. I have 4 very upset children who received them as Christmas presents. They've offered no resolution.

My autistic son was left DEVASTATED crying on his birthday

My autistic son’s 3rd birthday party here was DEVASTATING. The poor children were left in tears.

The host never introduced himself as our host and he didn’t tell anyone where to go or what to do. There was no real hosting at all so I was left running around the venue trying to organise parents and children myself. We didn’t even know who the host was until the end when we asked why it’s so unorganised and we weren't given a host.

Guests had to ask the host to sing happy birthday because he brought the birthday cake in quietly. It’s not a kid-friendly place at all.

Party food was left unattended without anyone telling us it’s time to go to the room and eat so children ate separately. We were told to clean our own table for birthday cake to be brought out, leaving guests cleaning the table at the party. I was really humiliated because the parents thought I hadn’t made a party booking when I’d actually pre-booked this.

Brownies and ice cream never came out, despite being promised and prepaid, leaving children crying. Because of the delays and chaos, there are no group photos of the kids and my son has no memories with his little friends from his 3rd birthday.

My son has autism and was extremely distressed by the disorganisation. He cried as he could not understand why the brownies and ice cream he was promised never arrived.

Children left hungry, overwhelmed, and in tears. I paid £245 for an experience that caused genuine emotional distress. I’m still receiving messages from parents asking if I’m okay as they felt sorry for me for how badly his party went.

The worst part is I believed customer service would compensate us for the WORST experience and instead the supervisor was smirking at us when I told her and when I called the manager the next day she denied everything. Rather than apologising, she said the staff don’t believe the host was unhelpful. She said he wouldn’t tell guests to clean the tables but that’s exactly what he did. None of the staff took accountability or provided good customer service.

I would NEVER return again nor would my guests and I don’t recommend booking a children’s party here because they don’t accept responsibility for their awful service. I’m still really upset 2 days later.

Please don’t take your children here as they deserve a happy and fun experience.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD

I had a disappointing experience at this arcade. Two of my coins were taken by a machine, and I did not receive the service promised. When I asked for help, the manager, Bridget, refused to assist or refund the coins and turned me away. I also felt her communication was abrupt and unprofessional. Customers should not be treated this way, especially when a machine is clearly at fault. I would not recommend this place based on how this issue was handled.

Serious health and safety issues

We attended Gravity for my son’s 11th birthday with his friends and their parents. We had booked an afternoon of bowling, food and karting.
What was meant to be a special day turned out to be somewhat of a nightmare.

Firstly bowling was delayed by about 20 minutes.
We then had to wait around 40 minutes for food to arrive after ordering (from a very limited menu with many pizzas out of stock).

The worst experience however was during the nitro junior karting.
When booking, we were under the impression that the junior karts would have the track to themselves for the booked slot. Unfortunately the same time slot was also occupied by at least 5 other karts, including two adult karts (not accompanied by children).

One of the adult karts was driven very aggressively by the driver, who crashed into my son heavily and one of his friends, on separate occasions. Both times causing serious shock and minor injury. This driver also proceeded to crash into other children. We complained to a member of staff at the time and thankfully, that driver was removed from the track.

I find it rather incredible that Gravity would allow adult drivers on the same track at the very same time as groups of children. This is a serious matter for health and safety!

No Good For SEN children

If I could do zero stars I would have. Gravity isn’t good with children with SEN. My son had meltdowns after meltdowns after a “marshal” loved her whistle and kept shouting at him. Spoke to him so rudely as he didn’t have the paper tag on I told her he has sensory issues and my other two has the tag on and I had his at the table. Still very rude. I think they need to be checked thoroughly to work in place like this with children and learn how to talk properly to children. It’s not a cheap day out either but for my son to say that was the worst day is not nice to hear .Bluewater Gravity

Absolutely horrendous visit.
Management and staff very unhelpful and unwilling to be helpful. More interested in chatting to themselves than helping.

Disrespectful Staff and terrible customer service

On Tuesday afternoon, I attended the Clip & Climb area at Bluewater with my four-year-old daughter for the 14:45 session. I was asked to complete a waiver form at the check-in booth, and although the staff were initially helpful, the experience quickly became uncomfortable and upsetting.

There was a very strong, unpleasant smell at the booth which smelt similar to body odour. The digital waiver form took around 10 minutes to load, and when I tried to point out what wasn’t working, one of the team members took my phone out of my hand multiple times and not always with consent. I was told I needed to add my “son” as a minor. I explained that she is my daughter. Despite her clearly feminine name and appearance, staff repeatedly referred to her as my son, including again when she was called through to begin the session.

This left me feeling frustrated, disrespected, and embarrassed. My daughter is a sensitive child and has been called a boy at nursery by boys who think all children are boys. For this to happen again, this time from adults in a professional environment, was particularly upsetting.

I did my best not to show my frustration in front of her, but she seemed uncomfortable and rushed through the activity. We left after around 20 minutes.

Staff Involved:
• Front Desk Team: Unnamed team members involved in the waiver and check-in process displayed poor listening, dismissive behaviour, and a lack of sensitivity.
• Positive Note: Two other staff members Finley and George G were excellent. One apologised after I explained the situation, and both were kind, calm, and reassuring to my daughter throughout.

Additional Concerns:

While in the venue, I overheard what sounded like gossiping and laughter among other team members about the check-in incident. This added to the discomfort and left me with the impression that the situation wasn’t taken seriously. It’s also possible my daughter picked up on this, which may have contributed to her wanting to leave early.

Impact:
• Emotional impact on both myself and my daughter
• Shortened participation in the activity
• Loss of confidence in the staff’s professionalism and inclusivity
• Ongoing upset due to the nature of the misgendering and lack of basic respect

Great fun

Great experience in northampton gravity. Yasin was on shift we had to speak to him regarding the little one with his age. He was very thorough and explained the rules. Little one seemed nervous to go on yasin was very good and encouraging good communication skills and a very nice lad to talk to. Thanks again and will be visiting again. Only down side is the price little expensive when taking three on.

Can't purchase parent and toddler…

Can't purchase parent and toddler session ticket for 4.5£ at the counter, however the price is showing on the screen behind.
I have been told to pay full price 29£ for a mum and a toddler.
Got angry, so checked online where is showing as fully booked, but the place almost empty.
Not surprised at all why is empty.
False advertising, place should be fined.
Never visit again.

The staff (Stevenage branch) were so…

The staff (Stevenage branch) were so amazing, especially the manager Sam and his colleague Will. We had a sen session for our son who is autistic for his 10th birthday. Sam did everything we asked for and more, nothing was too much. He even got Will to dress as Sonic Shadow as my son is a huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan.

Unpleasant staff & atmosphere

The staff was showing tongue at children & being unhelpful. There was vomit in the trampoline which was not cleared. They used just cellophane tape to hold basket ball which was unsafe. The whole area looked worn out. I wouldn’t recommend .🤮

What a disaster!

So poorly organised. Arrived at Gravity in Leeds around 5.10pm and it took staff so long to serve others and identify safety forms for individuals the kids didn’t get on until a 6pm slot. I cannot figure out what all the tapping was about. How difficult can it be to book people in and get a safety form signed. This will be my last visit. Absolute joke!

BLUEWATER - AVOID

First visit to Gravity (Bluewater) and absolutely the last. As soon as we walked in I told another member of our party (this looks like a shambles in here!”
Shambles it absolutely was. We joined the long queue to get to the front to be told because haven’t signed the waivers online we had to join the queue for the computers at the side to sign the waivers and then queue again. Why not have a member of staff at the entrance directing people who has/hasn’t signed waivers of where they need to be to save people wasting time.
After waivers completed I questioned about myself supervising my 4 year old daughter as it states (in the FAQ) Gravity require under 5’s be accompanied by an adult, nothing about price or payment as when booking it doesn’t ask for ages etc simply how many participants. The staff on the till advised me I must pay a full price ticket.
I’ve never been anywhere which expects you to accompany a child to pay a full price ticket. A fee or fraction of the price, fine, but full price is just insane. £60 for 1 hour is extortionate! (Socks, myself, 4yr & 6yr).
I asked to speak to a manager and the lovely staff member asked to lady a few till along for to come over to which she rudely ignored the staff member and proceeded to serve people who were queuing. The supervisor (JESS) eventually came over after serving a handful of people in the queue and was immediately rude, kept interrupting me not listening at all, abrupt and has absolutely zero customer service skills. How JESS is a supervisor I have no idea. By this point my children were crying with the complete shambles going backwards and forwards to computers unsure what we were doing so I just paid the full price for myself to accompany my daughter and I told the staff member “she probably won’t go on at all now she’s upset”. I was correct she didn’t want to after getting upset because of the chaos trying to get in and sorted.
On the session finishing my son was refusing to get off the trampolines even after everybody else getting off and new session starting. Staff did not even check any children’s wristbands and my son could have continued jumping had I not have got him off. Completely ruined my first experience and I wouldn’t return again AT ALL nor recommend it to others.
Your website needs updating to clearly state adults supervising children under 5 need to pay (full price). Shambles of a place - AVOID
