Gratitude Worldwide Ltd supports universities and education teams with assessment, feedback and AI-era change.
┃
Led by Naomi Rowan, Gratitude Worldwide works at the intersection of academic practice, assessment operations, digital platforms and implementation. We help universities improve assessment and feedback, redesign marking and moderation workflows, strengthen Moodle/platform processes, and support staff adoption so change lands in practice and evidence of learning remains strong.
┃
Our work is particularly relevant for higher education teams navigating AI-related uncertainty, assessment design questions, marking and feedback workload, Moodle or platform change, pilot planning, staff guidance and implementation. We support digital education teams, assessment and quality teams, academic development, registry, learning technology, project teams and senior stakeholders who need practical, thoughtful support through complex change.
┃
Services include Assessment & AI Workflow Diagnostics, Assessment Workflow Redesign Sprints, Assessment Design for the AI Era, Assessment Pilot Workflow Support, Moodle Assessment Workflow Support, staff adoption and guidance, and fractional advisory support for live programmes of change.
┃
Typical work can include mapping assessment and feedback workflows, identifying avoidable friction, clarifying AI-era risks, reviewing assessment design, shaping functional requirements, supporting pilot planning, developing staff guidance, and helping teams make clear decisions before committing to larger platform, process or implementation changes.
┃
Naomi brings more than 15 years’ experience across higher education, international education and edtech. Her work includes assessment workflow redesign and Moodle process support at LSE, including phased pilot planning across 26 departments; large-scale professional learning with Nord Anglia Education, reaching 8,000+ educators; and quality assurance and learning design improvement work with Aula.
┃
Gratitude Worldwide is especially focused on helping institutions reduce wasted friction, protect useful effort, and strengthen evidence of learning. The aim is not change for its own sake, but assessment and feedback practice that is rigorous, workable and meaningful for students, staff, departments and the wider institution.
┃
Do it with care. Do it together. Make it workable.
┃
Gratitude Worldwide works remotely across the UK and internationally.

I worked with Naomi at LSE on a project to streamline assessment processes across the institution, and she was extraordinary throughout. The productivity alone was hard to believe; she produced a full, comprehensive suite of user-facing reference guides covering genuinely complex assessment workflows in a matter of weeks, and the quality was there from the first draft. What made her exceptional wasn't just the output, though. Naomi moved fluidly across whatever the project needed: whether it was tailoring and facilitating live workshops for professional services staff and academics, building entire interactive Moodle courses from scratch for multiple role pathways to provide asynchronous learning, or producing and running end-to-end testing scripts and processes to manage quality assurance and support development (and plenty more besides!). She mucked in with a real sense of care for both the people she worked with and the people the work was ultimately for, and it showed in everything she produced. If you need someone thoughtful, capable, and genuinely invested in getting it right, I cannot recommend her highly enough.
