Terrible delivery service

You took five days to deliver an order that I paid £6.50 for next day delivery. When I chased the order you sent one email to me saying you would look into it and that was it. No more effort on your part. Eventually you reimbursed my postage but with no apology whatsoever. I will never use you again.

Dear Liz,

I understand how frustrating this situation must be for you and we tried to resolve it with you.

Your parcel was dispatched from our premises on time (Monday) for next business day delivery.

Unfortunately, the delay occurred during transit with Royal Mail, which has been experiencing higher than usual volumes due to Black Friday week. Once a parcel is handed over to the courier, we rely on their service to deliver it to you as scheduled. Unfortunately, we have no ability to do anything else once the parcel is in transit with the courier.

We understand the inconvenience this has caused and, as a gesture of goodwill, have refunded the next-day delivery charge. While this delay was beyond our control, we sincerely apologise for the frustration it may have caused.
