The tech support from Goose VPN have exceeded my expectations! Clear and prompt help Is all that anybody could ask for when reaching out to customer service for assistance. Most of the time this VPN works really well. Incidentally, it takes a bit longer connecting with a server. I have struggles with accessing Netflix but this might be due to something on Netflix' end. Overall, I'm happy with Goose VPN.

Room for Improvement
Firstly, the VPN client has in my experience deteriorated from 5.0.0 (1). I can overlook cosmetic glitches like the Connect slider disappearing (though that may have been fixed in 5.0.0 (5)). The client also seems to be getting dumbed down. I'm starting to entertain the idea of using a more technical, generic OpenVPN client. Worse core features like Smart Server and Autopilot seem broken. It's possible that one or the other isn't supported on the Windows platform (I seem to recall reading that somewhere). However even worse yet, the GOOSE VPN Support web site doesn't address either feature.
I keep meaning to submit a support ticket, but I've been a bit busy lately. Maybe after I've submitted this survey I'll start one.
I would like to see features like spilt-tunneling and WireGuard supported in the future. These features are making other VPN providers more appealing.

Good evening, Thank you for the review! The cosmetic changes made in new Windows version of 5.0.0 (1) are to make all the platforms look the same.
So the layout of Windows will be mostly the same for Mac, iOS and Android.
The new features Smart Server is a feature that automatically select the best server for you per country. This works on all the platforms (Windows, Android, Mac and iOS).
The other feature Autopilot is the new "killswitch" feature. If you have any issues with this send us a message at support@goosevpn.com
At the moment we are working on implementing Wire guard, i am not sure about split-tunneling unfortunately.

Get what you pay for
I did the math for buying the lifetime license based on comparison to a service like Express VPN for 8 dollars / mo - but of course I should have been comparing to Goose monthly which at the time was on sale steeply as well. I didn't realize how much the speed mattered to me until I didn't have it, but I didn't want to pay as much for it as the fancy VPNs charge... - you get what you pay for. A fast one I can leave on all the time, this one I feel like I only turn on actively when in sketchy context - still good to have for that.

Happy for a good price!
So far so good. Very reasonably priced. Good speeds as well. Haven't had it for too long but from what I've done online with the VPN, sa stated, so far so good. Speed in connecting to servers could be better and would love if at some point they support Wireguard.
