I dont even want to give 1 star

I dont even want to give 1 star. I recently switched over. Schedule my number to port over. It hasn't. Can't contact anyone to ask for help. Paid my 1st bill the day I ordered my sim. And they have just charged me again. Is this a scam or what is going on with this company. Now ive lost my old number and got charged twice within 10 days. Nice one people. ??? Anyone any clues or information? Would really appreciate it.

Rubbish customer care -AVOID

Everything is fine until you need to have ANY dealings with customer care. I've tried to cancel one of the numbers on my account. It was CONFIRMED IN WRITING that it would happen at the end of January, never happened. That was my second time trying by the way. Now they're trying to make my start the process all over again, when they literally just need to look back at the thread from before and do what they promised. I've been with them for years but this is bull*hit, moving back to Tesco mobile, you get to deal with real people.

UPDATE. The saga continues. I have moved all the other numbers we had with GoMo. We were with them for years, 4 numbers. We never needed to contact customer care, hence why we were with them so long I guess. They STILL haven't disconnected the number that over be trying to cancel since November. The only way to cancel is to port your number away it seems, but my son wanted a new number so I just wanted to cancel that one. They PERSIST in sending me the cancellation form over and over again instead of actually reading the threads, looking at history/notes (if they exist) etc. I've asked a few times to be connected to a supervisor, no joy. If anyone actually bothered to look they would see that the number in question wasn't used since November. Now I'm left in a situation where i will owe money for a service I've been trying to cancel. All payments are now blocked. I've added SIM only plans to my Voda broadband for 15 a month. At least you can deal with a human being there. Just absolutely AVOID these idiots.

Absolutely THE WORST customer service I…

Absolutely THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. It does not matter if the request is urgent or an emergency — GOMO simply does not care at all.

The complaints team is a complete joke. I spoke to someone named Irein (or something similar) who has no idea how to speak to customers and behaved as if she were the manager. When I calmly asked to speak to an actual manager, I was rudely told that I had no right to do so. This level of disrespect is unbelievable.

GOMO clearly does NOT value its customers in any way. Communication is terrible, professionalism is nonexistent, and customers are treated like they mean absolutely nothing. This company is ridiculous and completely incompetent.

I would NOT recommend GOMO to anyone — not even my worst enemy.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH GOMO!!!

Awful experience, got locked in the contract

I had three numbers with gomo, all on one account. One card did not work for many months but gomo kept charging me. I asked to cancel the number, so I don’t pay extra especially that I do not receive the service - the customer service agent said that it cannot be done. It is next to impossible to contact them. When you finally reach them, the agents are dismissive and do not try to solve the problem but advise to contact them through another channel. Only when I wrote the external complaint they appeared and were “ready to help immediately”. I really do not recommend this provider. Transferred my 3 numbers to a different provider, my extended family will follow as well.

No SIM, no service, yet billing continued

I signed up with GoMo, completed the ID verification, but the service never worked. I never received or used a SIM card and was never able to use the service, even while I was still in Switzerland.
Despite this, I started receiving payment reminders and threats of fees. I spent a long time contacting customer support, explaining repeatedly that no service was ever provided. The chat was even closed by support before the issue was resolved.
Instead of taking responsibility for a failed activation/delivery, they insisted on charging me based only on “terms and conditions”, ignoring the fact that no service was delivered.
This has been a frustrating and unreasonable experience.
I do not recommend GoMo to anyone.

Customer service is the worst I have…

Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. They do not offer email support, as I believe this would give a clear record for a complaint to comreg. (To me this was the first sign of a unscrupulous business). when I rang the complaints department for the numerous time and told them I was recording the call. They told me I couldn't record them, and hung up. (even they were recording me). I do not recommend that you use them, unless you want to spend hours on their chat bot and on the phone complaints line and still get nowhere.

GoMo cancelled my new SIM

GoMo cancelled my new SIM as nobody home to accept parcel. Fits through letterbox I said. Send replacement SIM I said. To get replacement SIM they said order new SIM . But I paid for one already I said.
Eventually I have to escalate complaint but they were not very receptive. Eventually I mentioned Communication Regulator.
If its this difficult to start new account then I don't want to deal with them.
Payback credit to be applied to my card.

Customer service is a nightmare.
Got my new Sim card quick enough but couldn't activate it with the pin numbers provided. Contacted customer service and got told he will activate it and it will be working within the next 24 hours. That's now 4 days ago and you can't chat to an agent over Christmas from 25th to the following Tuesday wich is the 30th. Not understandable that nobody is available to help for 5 Days!!!!! Will cancel this contract

Rubbish customer service from Gomo. 0 star service

I have 3 mobile phones with Gomo.
My text bundle was out and I asked for it to be reset which over the past years was never an issue.
I never missed a payment but today I asked as normal to reset.
I was told this was not possible.
I told the operator I never had an issue before.
They were extremely obnoxious in their replys.
After 2 hours of emails I told them I was going to cancel all 3 phones.
Reply I got was they would reset bundle as a once off! If they did that in the first place there would not have lost 3 user account.
Absolutely disgusting service.
Horrible customer service.
36 years using a mobile without any issues and this is the crap way they deal with good customers.

No GoMo phone for 2 weeks

A SIM install glitch which, following 15 emails to GOMO and Comreg, and the usual online “help” fiascos, still no resolution.
No phone for two weeks so far. Neither organisations seem bothered by abysmal customer ratings.

unfair billing and poor service.

Very disappointed with GoMo’s cancellation process – ended up paying for two months I shouldn’t have.
I submitted my cancellation request with the full form on 14 November 2025 (name, DOB, number, email – everything they asked for) and replied to their follow-up emails. Despite this, GoMo claim the cancellation was ‘never completed’ and continued billing me for both November and December.
Only after chasing them multiple times did they finally schedule the number to close on 31 December – meaning I’ve now been charged for two full months after I had already cancelled. They refuse to refund either month, saying it’s my fault their system didn’t register it properly.
It feels extremely unfair: I did everything they asked, kept copies of all emails, and still lost almost €30 for service I didn’t want or use. Customer support just repeat the same script and won’t take responsibility.
Cheap plan on paper, but the cancellation experience has been frustrating and costly. I expected better from an Irish provider.

Absolutely fed up with GoMo customer…

Absolutely fed up with GoMo customer service. I was just trying to port my old number back to GoMo, but their system wouldn’t send the verification code and kept saying a port was already in progress.

I clearly explained the issue and asked the agent to check and remove any existing port request. Instead of actually helping or investigating, the agent did NOTHING and then just ended the chat on me. No solution, no explanation, just CUT OFF.

This is not support – it’s pure frustration. I still can’t complete the port because of their system and their “support” team clearly doesn’t care.
