Disappointing

I thought when I bought this course that it would show me how to make digital products I could feel proud of. But the stuff this course teaches you how to make and sell on Etsy is pretty corny, and primarily for kids. Sure, there are technically people out there buying this stuff, but it's not the kind of things I wanted to learn to make as a creative person.

Unfortunately, I figured this out after I'd already gotten past the bare bones introductory module that shows you all the things you get in the course. You can only get a refund from them within 14 days if you haven't watched beyond that module.

The tutorial videos in the actual course were rushed and hard to follow. A 10 minute Canva tutorial video ended up taking me about 45 minutes because the guy was talking so fast, and I had to keep pausing and restarting it. The tutorials were also done on an older version of Canva, so many of the buttons and icons were in different places than the video stated. I was able to figure it out, but it was time consuming and frustrating.

On top of that, they automatically subscribe you to a monthly paid "VIP" club that you have to go to a strand of different pages, links, and another sales page to intentionally unsubscribe from it. It felt deceptive to find out I was auto-subscribed to a monthly charge after I'd bought the course.
It does have lifetime access, at least, in case I ever change my mind, but in the end it felt like a waste of money as it wasn't at all what I was looking for.
