I’ve located your account and followed up with you directly via email to look into this further.

GoHenry cards do come with a range of security features designed to keep accounts safe, including 3D Secure authentication (one-time passcodes for online payments), instant card controls (like freezing the card or setting spending limits), and real-time transaction alerts so you can quickly spot anything unusual.

There’s also chip-and-PIN for in-store purchases and contactless payments. If a card is ever lost or stolen, it can be blocked instantly in the app by following the steps below:

1. Login to your GoHenry account on the app
2. Tap ‘Money’ at the bottom of the page
3. Tap on the relevant child shown at the top of your screen
4. Tap the ‘Card’ option
5. Tap the circled ‘Block’ button

Poor - I have been waiting for a card for weeks. They charge you a monthly fee and when I request to cancel the account it’s not cancelled. Use a traditional bank not these .

Not user friendly

Not user friendly. Things change in the app layout. Took me ages today to change something. There is some charges I don’t understand. And it costs too much to run for a service, that I find frustrating and unclear.
Been recommended this app by friends, who have switched to normal bank accounts later on. I’m going to do the same now.

To access live chat, just tap the speech bubble located in the app by going to Account > Help Centre.

When we add new features to the app, we typically do not make significant changes to where functions are located; usually, we simply move a function up or down within the same section to accommodate the new feature. All new features can be found in the change logs on the app store.

I see that you are on the Max plan, which is the most economical option for your family. As a financial service rather than a bank, we do not profit from overdrafts or debts; instead, we charge a small membership fee to allow us to provide our service and continue developing features for our members.

My young son has been using gohenry for a few years now and it has helped him grasp the concept of saving and also careful budgeting, he makes purchases online and also in the high street, I can highly recommend gohenry for your younger children/grandchildren.
