I had a lovely driver called Khan. He picked us up from mead open farm to Dunstable then onto Lewsey. I couldn’t ask for a nicer driver, really polite, caring and happy to talk. His car is immaculate which is rare for Go Cars. Most of the drivers are rude and the cars are filthy. I say this because I use this company a lot. Not much choice around here. Anyway back to KHAN, lovely man and I thank you very much khan. Sorry but I forgot your driver number.
GO CARS, you should use khan as a good example of a taxi driver with a CLEAN car.

Tried to book a taxi with a ski bag and they said that none of their vehicles can fit child ski bag. Absolutely ridiculous and poor customer service.

Lovely car, driver early. All good.

BUT I was then told I needed to pay £5 cash to go to express drop off at Luton airport OR be dropped off at a nearby car park.

I explained I had no cash so driver offered to stop at a garage with a cash point machine.

I read out the clear WhatsApp booking conf that clearly stated I had paid, the booking was confirmed and that I would be taken to express drop off luton airport.

I called their office, the gentleman answering the phone asked me to hold and then came back saying it had been a mistake and that that had been included in my payment - which we all know is total rubbish and that this wa a hidden scam tactic to try and elevate the pricing by 20% whilst appearing on line to be competitive and ethical.

Shame.

Better to be open honest and professional me thinks.

Do not trust the company.I booked and paid online. The car didn't turn up. I called the office they asked for more money.

At the counter I had the surprise to pay an extra charge because of a supposed late arrival. I was obliged to pay in order to rent the car but the day after I wrote to GCN Customer Support.
Unbelievable! It took care of me better than myself writing a mail per day to keep me posted and at the end of the story he obtained the return of the extra charge from the car rental. Well done!
