In our experience, GOAT Payments will board you with Maverick, and then Maverick will board you, let you process, and later place holds that leave you unsure when or if you’ll see your funds. That was the pattern we lived through. What should have been a simple processing relationship turned into ongoing stress and constant financial uncertainty. Based on what we went through, we would caution any merchant to think very carefully before going down the same path.
