‘Hi I’m Ivy. I recently completed the GlowHigh Couture Transparent corset masterclass. I’m 14, and I’ve been sewing since I was 4. I had been playing around with corsets for a year or so without much success. But I really wanted to know how to make them properly. This course was great. I realised I was going about it the wrong way. Jehans tutorials were easy for me to understand and I learnt many skills and ways to finish a garment thanks to Jehans experience and patient tutorials. The corset fitted and looked beautiful. I went onto adapt her corset pattern into my own dress design and win a local fashion and design award.’

Jeans Alterations Masterclass
I just completed the Jeans Alterations Masterclass and can't express how thrilled with it I am. Ivor breaks things into manageable steps and more importantly explains WHY he's doing things. I've sewn for years, but never sewn well because I lacked reliable help and guidance. This course, as well as the Alterations Masterclass (which I'm also taking), brings things finally into focus. If you are rutted and frustrated with the quality of your work, get the classes and watch them both...in order, from start to finish. You will not be disappointed. Great products!!

A wonderful surprise
I had been seeing ads for these courses for a long time, and honestly, I was skeptical. It seemed strange to me that something so valuable could be offered at such a discounted price. I hesitated for quite a while, then I started reading reviews and did a bit of research. In the end, I thought, “Even if it’s not as good as it looks, I’ll still learn something.”
But the surprise was huge!
The course is complete, well-structured, and filled with useful tips—not only about construction but also the actual sewing process. Nancy speaks in a way that is very clear and easy to understand, even for someone like me who is not a native English speaker.
I’m truly grateful to Nancy, to GHF, and to myself for finally taking the leap.
This is absolutely a course of real value, and I highly recommend it.

So far - great learning outcome!
So far, midway in the masterclass for pattern cutting, I am pleased with the course. It is a lot of information and sometimes it is a bit rush, but for me this is a process and I do learn continously - very happy. I also asked for some guidance pr mail, and got a very quick and usefull reply by Nancy, so this is a great way of learning for me. The only thing I miss, is the ability to down load the videos. I understand that this might be caused by the business idea and fear of copying and distribution of the course, but I still miss it, as i occasionally travel with limited access to internet.

Disappointing
I’ve watched a good bit of the The Garment Surgeon's Alterations Masterclass, and so far, I’ve not really learned anything. Rather than covering common problems in garments and how to fix them, the “masterclass” just goes over one or two specific fixes while fitting a model. I know how to take in a dress on the side already, what I would have liked to see are larger changes, understanding symptoms of ill-fitting garments, and how to fix them. Disappointing so far.

GH Masterclass is rushed and disjointed in parts during key pattern drafting explanations
I have some experience of pattern cutting but have found some of the explanations rushed and disjointed, resulting in confusion. Some explanations are not clear and full. This is the teaching style that I have found lacking in part, not the knowledge of Nancy. The course is targeted towards a wide range of experiences but is not delivered in this way. Such a shame. Would be great if some extra videos could be added to the masterclass to provide clearer and fuller explanation. Other parts of the Masterclass are well presented and explained. Thank you.

My best experiencie in online courses
The teacher's teaching method is wonderful. In each class, The teacher demonstrated her experience in the subject matter. Whenever I had questions, I sent emails and always received a response with complete and constructive answers. I am a professor and have a PhD in electrical engineering, but during the pandemic I decided to live my dream and take a fashion design course. As a professor, I can say that the classes taught by Nancy Tauber are spectacular.

Lift your sewing experience
I have completed two courses and am in the process of doing another course - if you want to lift your sewing skills then consider taking a course. The courses do no assume prior knowledge, making them complete in themselves. I had several "ah-ha" moments which have ultimately made my sewing projects easier and more enjoyable.
