I ordered the tumeric brightening soap bar & the chapstick. My order came as expected & I’ve only been using the soap & chapstick for maybe 3-4 days and I swear I can already see a difference. My skin & lips are even and brighter. I noticed a lot of people complaining about the subscription fees & while yes they do sneak it in there you have to be paying attention to what you’re buying. I noticed my price was higher at checkout so I went to see why & saw the subscription and it was easy to remove. I love this company so far and can’t wait to try other products!

At first, I was skeptical because I’m not a black woman and I thought I wasn’t going to receive my purchase, but I did five days later. It sure did come in perfect condition. I started using it and within the fourth day I swear I saw a change in my lip color. I have been smoking cigars very heavily for more than 26 years and I recently stopped. It’s been 31 days that I’ve been sober and only four days. I noticed the change. I am now going on a weekend and I’m very happy with my lip color. I will continue to use it and oddly enough it’s worked for the spots on my face too, who knew it has a great smell. Product is very well made. I love everything about it. It left me impressed because I’ve tried putting these things on my face before, but I never really saw a change. I’m not sure what else they put in it. That makes it work as good as it does but good job to them. I highly recommend you try their other products as well because if the lip balm works for my lips and face. I could just imagine with the soap and lotions and other products they have would do for you .

I’ve struggled for years to find a product that left my skin clear but wasn’t too harsh. This product line has been a godsend! One product and I’m all set and my skin is hydrated and glowing. Even my 10 year old told me my “wrinkles” were going away.

Great products , I've been using the products since January 2025. No complaints, scars disappeared from marks I had since I was a preteen and I'm now 33 years old. I find it best to mix the face brightening , scar fade cream and brightening oil altogether on a partially wet body to help it spread out more and last longer . I also used that combination on my hands and put gloves on at night to lock in the products and now my hands look softer and more feminine, scars almost all the way gone . I've taken pictures every 4 months and no picture update has disappointed me. I will post on the internet by the end of March 2026 my story with my stubborn skin and how glomelanin has helped me gain my confidence and self esteem back. I used celtrixa , mederma and other skin care routines to fade scars in the past

Also , yes, they do charge a subscription fee just like Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc whether you order or even watch shows that month

Its funny to me how when other group's of races company charges a subscription fee we all understand that, yet, when our own with VERYYYYY effective products does the same thing we lose our cool and have to add disheartening comments to turn other women away with horrible skin . How do you think they will be able to help other groups of blacks in Africa with clean water. We have to do better ALWAYS FINDING SOMETHING to complain about, we have to do better , with love to all!

Beware!! This company forces you to purchase a subscription! When you add a product to your cart, it will automatically add the subscription and there is no way to remove it! It then states that you are "choosing" to subscribe and will be charged $.95 for the first month and $14.99 after with the option to skip or cancel at anytime. Why do this in the first place?!? There is no way I should be forced into a subscription or it should even be placed into my cart without me selecting to do so! I really believe half of these reviews are from the company itself! The brightening facial moisturizer cream broke my face completely out! Too heavy!! You know what it worked well on, my butt! lol Which is why I want to purchase it again. It completely smoothed my butt out, so for that I am pleased and would recommend for that purpose. It’s a no for the face and a yes for the body! Either way I wont be purchasing it again if I cant do so without being forced into a subscription!

Reply To Glo Melanin: I am editing my review and replying to Glo Melanin. Why put it in the cart in the first place?? I sent an email inquiring about this and stating this exact issue. I also asked how to remove the subscription from my checkout cart as I did not see an option to do so. I later received an email asking me to rate the response/feedback I received. I didn’t receive a response via email so I gave it a one star and explained that I never received any feedback. Later when I logged back into my account on your website to see if I was tripping and try to remove the subscription to purchase the brightening cream again (to use on my body) I saw that the feedback was sent via the website chat! That is ridiculous! Not only was it not sent via email (my original way of communicating) it also did not give me any instructions as to how to actually remove the subscription, which I asked for. Just the same generic response that it could be done from the cart before you move to the check out screen. This experience is highly disappointing! Stop adding the subscription to carts in the first place!!! Allow the customer to choose this option on their own! I also saw another review from a person who said the same thing! I know it is not only the two of us to have experienced this! I consider this a dark business practice/pattern! It’s unethical and deliberately confusing. You say it can be removed, but I have yet to receive clear cut instructions as to how to do so! Very frustrating!! This is exactly why I found a way to place a public review of my experience. In the end I ended up having to go ahead and pay the damn .$95 for a trial subscription that I didn’t want and went back in after the purchase to cancel it! Completely unnecessary steps! At the end of the day, I still wanted that cream for my butt that I like to show off in the summer (pool/beach) and privately with my man! I am happy with the those results which is why I will continue to buy it for that purpose! I also like supporting black business! However this issue needs to be fixed!! I bought 2 months worth of the cream, next time I come back to purchase I do not want to pay an extra $.95 then have to cancel the subscription! Don’t add it to my cart in the first place!

I really like Glo melanin because and one month is help me a lot, my face is had acne and dark spot in December but in the second week of January I saw the change, so really recommended Glo Melanin.

I took a chance on the Roller Remover but when the package came, product had leaked out! This product was, frankly, a splurge buy purchased on a shoestring budget so to have any of it wasted as quite disappointing. I reached out to notify Glo Melanin about this issue and Elyka got back to me promptly. She apologized for the leak and not only shipped a new roller but also sent a Tumeric Brightening Bar Soap. I was seriously just expecting a 10% off code and that hope was a HUGE maybe. She went above and beyond, in my opinion. It's been a long time since I've felt so cared for by a customer service rep. I've been happily using the roller under my arms to lighten the area and see about less irritation when shaving. I had quit shaving under my arms for all the irritation but am hopeful that this will help me have hairless underarms AND less color contrast!

I've not yet used the bar soap, which I plan to use in the next few days as my old face soap is running out.

I did buy a tube of the Turmeric and Lemon lip balm. I am not a smoker nor do I feel like I have overly dry lips BUT I love the feel, smell, and taste. I normally apply it after I wash my face and brush my teeth. Then, as I speak a lot or am on a mic, use it before that as well instead of lipstick or other balms. It provides lasting moisturizer, isn't too slippery OR sticky. Nor is it too shiny! I love most that it's not petroleum based and isn't minty or fruity.

Wish I can give them no stars!They are scammers and thieves.The face soap is great but it’s their tactics they use to steal money from customers .They trick you into a $14.99 subscription or you can’t check out to get items and they do it unknowingly. Their customer service is basically nonexistent. Once they do respond to the email because that’s the only way to get in touch with them, they give you a scripted email stating they apologize and giving a store credit that is not accessible. This is still top tier robbery and everyone needs to continue to apply pressure reporting this scandalous company so they can be stopped!

Amazing it does the job & the packaging gets to you fast

I absolutely love the customer service. Recently my orders were going to an address I'm no longer at and would be returned to sender. I realized on the site it has my actual address and the shop app another. Emailed customer service and they were so nice and shipped right away. I love all the products from these ladies. They'll have a life time customer with me.

I have been using Glo Melanin products for a few months and to my liking their products work. The lip balm, facial cream, and brightest soaps have been my top favs but I also enjoy their serum! The lip balm keeps my lips hydrated doesn’t cause irritation like other balms have in the past. Also, their products aren’t harsh to my skin for someone who has dealt with eczema flares. I use their facial cream on other parts of my body and it helps with moisture and brightening my pretty skin. I am very pleased with their customer service, exceptional! And I’m proud to be a continued supporter! Love y’all

I had to wait months to replenish my rose oil, but I absolutely love all the products I've used and I get constantly get complimented on my skin.

The product did arrive quicker than expected. Thank you! It seemed to work from the very first application. WOW! I will send before and after pics. Thank you for making such an outstanding product that really gets the job done. But in a such a little amount of time (at least for me).
