Great guide who explained much history, great visits and great organization

I got to visit the places I’ve dreamed of forever.

Our travel agent Darci Upham customized our destinations to fit our desires. Our "tour guide" Andrew Moran, was a walking storehouse of knowledge and kept every day on schedule and on point. The "bus driver" was smooth, precise, and safe. The accomodations were more than adaquate for the price. We had a blast!!

Tour guides are very helpful, they leave no stone unturned. On this trip, Andrew went above and beyond. Also, the lodgings are very comfortable.

We did the Italian Mosaic tour with our grown daughter, and it was a wonderful experience. This was our first land tour, and we will definitely consider Hlobus for future land tours. The tour guide, Elena, was excellent and our driver, Gerardo impressed us with his maneuvering skills in tight places. We stayed at 7 different hotels. Some were beautiful, some were comfortable and clean. Occasionally the AC wasn’t very good, but overall the hotels were good. The bus was very comfortable. We were a small group, so we were able to spread out. The included food was good, and the food on the optional tours was very good to excellent. We got a lot of historical information as well as time for just seeing beautiful places and doing some shopping. We covered a lot of territory, so we were on the go. I highly recommend this tour with Globus..

Our Tour Director Sue was very knowledgeable, kept us at a good pace, and is a very personable and professional. Our driver Rafaelle was polite, helpful, professional, and did a fine job navigating the roads of Italy. I felt safe riding in his coach.

Our guide, Iris, was fantastic. All of the hotels, except for one, we're great. The excursions were so much fun and the dinner cruise on the Seine was excellent. Also, we had a great group.

We loved the entire tour and especially our tour guide Lino. He was very helpful all throughout the tour with location insights and tips about food or the sights we were seeing. Our driver was also excellent and miraculously managed the winding streets in Sorrento.

Our favorite was lake Maggiore. We wished we could have stayed another day there and our second favorite as Sorrento and Capri. We were a bit rushed in Assisi and had no time to browse the shops or explore on our own. Possibly just free time on our own might have worked out better as some people wanted just to explore more on their own or have a casual meal there in the evening overlooking the valley which has a great view.

In Rome we were a bit surprised in the Colosseum with many steep steps to go up/down. We made it but by the time we walked through the Roman Forum we were very tired, but glad we endured it all. We got there a day early and booked a tour with another company to see the Catacombs and Mamertine prison, which Globus did not offer. This was fairly easy and might be listed as an alternative with less walking should Globus consider it.

In hindsight, we could have skipped Pisa. It was time for lunch and we needed a break but it was very crowed and besides the tower there was not much else to see there.

We loved the Florentine dinner at the winery while being serenaded during dinner.

Our highlight in Venice was the gondola ride, but the lagoon cruise excursion to Burano was not our favorite as we could have probably used the free time browsing more shops in Venice.

We had perfect weather all through the trip and have many fond memories and photos to share with others.

It's our first time travelling with Globus and the trip was amazing. The tour director was amazing. She was very funny, knowledgeable and organized.

Need to be careful while booking with Globus. They do not refund the deposit in case of cancellations. They ask you to buy travel insurance, which I did. But when claiming a refund for cancellation, they ask you to contact the insurance company (AON). The insurance company then asks for the reason for cancellation, which in my case was a wedding in the family. Apparently, unless its a death in the family they do not refund and instead give you a voucher for future travel. Filing a claim with AON is a separate nightmare. They do not acept claims over the phone and instead send you a link to file via their web site. When calling for assistance, I was routed to a call center outside the US, and it was extremely difficult to understand the agent.

To start this was not a 24-day tour as advertised. We did nothing the first day. The last day they provided breakfast at 6:30am and we were on our own. Please advertise it as a 22-day tour. In addition, we spent 3 days on our own. They said bus driver needed a day off???

Punctuality…. Getting what was promised.

Enjoyed the trip, not too long on the bus. Enough free time and no pressure to do the optional trips. Helen was an excellent host. Felt very safe and comfortable in the bus

Outstanding tour planning and execution! The Croatia itinerary was perfectly organized, with amazing destinations, smooth logistics, and unforgettable experiences. Highly recommended!
