No visibility of despatch or delivery.

I too placed an order which wasn't received. The Amazon website showed no information on delivery status.
Glitzy Gizmos said they had evidence of delivery, but when challenged they failed to provide this 'evidence', in fact there was no visibility even of who the courier was.
Fortunately I was able to recover my costs through Amazon hassle free.
I don't understand why action isn't being taken against this company. This is clearly not just a case of a company that provides poor customer service.

Avoid at all costs!

Ordered a battery, turned out to be the wrong one for the phone, was quick to issue a return, but was told to go to the post office, was told it was a prohibited item and you can't return just a battery, asked for advice from the seller, they said to try a courier looked on many websites and all say that batteries are prohibited item, asked seller again how I am supposed to return it when it is prohibited and they said it's not their problem and I will just have to find my own way to return it! They have ZERO customer service skills, are so rude, so unhelpful and shouldn't be selling products that there is no way to return! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Usually read Trustpilot reviews before purchasing. Ordered a belkin iPad Charging cable. Within a month the fitting broke inside the docking part of the iPad. No refund offered despite confirmation that refund accepted. Reported to Amazon for resolution

Do not use this company

Do not use this company! Wish I read these reviews before hand as the amazon reviews give a different take on this company. Same story as another customer, I ordered a Samsung phone charger cable waited & waited for the delivery. Stating it had been dispatched on amazon but couldn't track it. Got in touch with glitzy gizmos to be told it had been delivered by royal mail & I need to take it up with them. Definitely a scam going on here!

Caveat emptor (really)

I ordered what was described on the Amazon UK website as a Genuine Original Replacement battery for a Nokia 2660 phone on behalf of a neighbour, and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in the post in surprisingly short order. Unfortunately, the battery was too small for the phone, so back it needed to go. That's when the fun started…

It became obvious that the return procedure required by the seller is deliberately complicated in order to deter customers who need to return their purchases, and one needs to download or have delivered by post a return label that needs to be attached exactly to their specifications. Return postage needs to be paid by the customer which according to the Amazon contract should be refunded in this particular circumstance. I was determined to not give this outfit a free ride at my expense, so I jumped through all their hoops and posted the battery back according to their requirements. Not to be surprised when they messaged back that there would be a £3.50 reduction in the refund as my neighbour's phone is a Nokia 2660 Flip which apparently does not take the same battery as a Nokia 2660. Neither of us being experts in the workings of Nokia models had any idea of this difference, which if known by the seller, should have been made clear in the advert.

Having had enough of their nonsense, I messaged Amazon who to their credit authorised the full return of the purchase price. Still have to chase the £1.70 return postage, though…

EDIT 9/1/25
The above incident occurred at the beginning of December ‘24. Amazon have refunded the purchase price, but unsurprisingly, not the return postage. Equally unsurprisingly, not a word from the vendor.

Daljit BLAGAN of Oracle Business Solutions UK Ltd, I would welcome your reply to this review, if you have the intestinal fortitude to face your very disappointed customers.

AVOID

On Sat 9th November, I ordered what I thought to be a genuine Belkin usb-c -usb-c charging cable from Glitzygismos via Amazon.
Immediately after ordering, I went to Trust pilot site to view their previous customers comments. I was so appalled by what I read I decided to cancel my order immediately via Amazon.
On Monday morning 11th I received a message from Amazon stating the order had already been dispatched by Glitzygissmos and therefore unable to cancel and should be delivered by Wednesday13th. which didn’t happen. After complaining to Amazon I received a message from the Glitzygismos stating that it had been delivered after Royal Mail confirmed the delivery.
I know full well that without a tracking number, there’s no way the Post Office could check it had been delivered or not so this was totally untrue and made to look that I had actually received it.
At lunchtime on Saturday16th, the item was actually delivered by Royal Mail, no tacking number present on package.
I decided to return it back to Glitzygismos because this was not a genuine Belkin cable and was not delivered when they stated I have also read you have to pay return postage so just wasn’t worth the trouble and hassle which I believe the company hope one will do if unsatisfied. I also read in Trustpilot reviews some customers have returned goods tracked but still struggled to get refunds and had to go through Amazon for their refund.
As other have remarked, why Amazon deals with these type of market place traders is also beyond me.
This has taught me a huge lesson in dealing with market place traders on Amazon and will not get caught out again.
If i could give zero stars feedback for this company I certainly would have done so but unfortunately not possible.

Avoid!

Non-delivery
I ordered a Samsung phone charger which was not delivered. They tried telling me that they had spoken to Royal Mail who said that they had delivered it even though it was an untracked item! Now trying to get a refund. Why Amazon allow them to market on their website despite shocking reviews I do not know. Please avoid at all costs.

Useless rip off

Needed a new charging cable for my Samsung A51 so ordered a "genuine Samsung cable from them but didn't fit my phone, was told I had ordered the wrong one and on return they deducted £1.50 charges despite the items were still in the original packaging and they would be 100% able to sell them again

Wouldn't use them again

I bought a phone battery from them…

I bought a phone battery from them which was delivered within the estimated delivery time, I'll give them THAT much but it didn't matter because it was a clear dud, it wasn't charging my phone at all, so I tried to return it but as many have said here, this company makes it very difficult to return items and, oddly, they require you to send them a message, otherwise, in their words "If you do not message us prior to sending the goods back we will simply return the goods back to you".

This is totally absurd and I'm quite sure it goes against Amazon's Returns Policy. You're supposed to have the right to return any goods without having to send messages to the seller or even Amazon itself, as long as you return it within the specified returns time frame and select a basic reason for the return with a comment if you wish to make one but we shouldn't have to be justifying ourselves that much, it's our right.

I presume they (Glitzy Gizmos) make it so difficult because they know darn well their products are iffy and they know they will get loads of refund requests, so in order to make money they want an excuse to refuse as many refunds as they can and I also presume that when you send them a message they will then try and sweet talk you into cancelling the return.

This company really ought to be taken off Amazon's list of sellers and also shut down altogether. Amazon themselves are fine, I have bought many things from them and usually, I have nothing but praise for them and most of their sellers but in this case, not so, and it's purely down to this seller, Glitzy Gizmos Basically, they are a bunch of organized crooks that use Amazon. I'm not going to play their silly "Send us a message game", I'll probably just complain to Amazon directly and see if I can get my money back from them. Fortunately, it wasn't a lot but even so, it's the principle. Thanks.

I ordered a battery from Glitzy Gizmos…

I ordered a battery from Glitzy Gizmos via Amazon which arrived promptly, unfortunately it would not hold a charge for more than a couple of hours.
When I tried to return it Royal Mail explained that the battery was a prohibited item and could not be posted. They suggested using a courier, but the value of the item is far less than this will cost.
I contacted the seller who told me they used another carrier who “had a licence” and had never had this problem before. They suggested I use that carrier instead, but the battery is listed as a prohibited item by them too.
The seller is unable to explain how they have legally/safely been sending batteries through the post.
As I am now aware that it’s a prohibited item I won’t be posting it back as I assume there is a good reason for that, and it’s the law too (!)
So no refund for a faulty item.
I wrote to Amazon to explain my concerns, have heard nothing back from them.
If you have a choice please avoid this seller, if you don’t have a choice be aware that if anything goes wrong you will lose your money, unless you live near them or are prepared to pay a lot for a non-post courier.
The customer service wasn’t great either.

Don't waste your money buying from…

Don't waste your money buying from these as they are so arrogant when it comes to the Consumer Goods Act 2015. I had fight with Amazon for a week to get my money back because my item went faulty after 8 months and it was only because of the understanding person i spoke to at the end. They WILL NOT refund you and will tell you the manufacturer is responsible for the guarantee. As the manufacturer said it is the responsibility of the SELLER. You have been warned!!!
