Great Customer Service
I would like to share an amazing customer service story with you. I needed a GE compatible water filter for my fridge. I previously had a bad experience with compatible filters from another manufacturer and once I also had a fraudulently advertised one. so, I was gun shy if this would work since their price is very attractive, about half of what GE charges. I researched the model on their website to make sure it matched my filter. The filter model did match, and the fridge was the replacement model for mine which according to GE used identical filters.
The ordering process was simple, I ordered a bundle of three, and I received the filters promptly. The filters looked clean and I tried to install one, but it would not fit. The GE fridges filter is a pain to replace and the housing is fragile. I tried multiple times till it finally clicked but the housing door would not close. When I took the filter out and checked it side by side with the genuine GE filter, it was a quarter of an inch longer and that is why it would not fit.
I wrote a message to the Glacier customer support team. Don responded within the same day and asked for some information and my research to verify I have the right filters. I provided that and he handed the matter over to Sharon. Like Don, she was very professional and asked me to send a couple more pieces of information. Then she promptly wrote this off as a product compatibility issue (even though GE is the one who had provided the wrong information to me and possibly to them. Sharon then proceeded to process a full refund for the order.
The most important part of my interaction was the professionalism, promptness and high level of courtesy Sharon showed me as did Don. She did not give me any run around, was very polite, attentive and professional and genuinely cared that I was not having a successful experience.
Well, she got a customer despite this sale not going through. Glacier Fresh has a very good reputation, many quality products my friends have used and I will go back. These days customer service with a personal touch and real care is so rare and I am grateful for it. Thank you Sharon! Please thank Don as well.

After using the glacier fresh filter!!
After using the glacier fresh filter, it was able to remove a lot of things out of the water at the campgrounds. I know the water quality here is not the greatest. The p h. here is very high and it removes the calcium as well. If I keep using this I am shooting for more of a life time of the faucets and it is better for my body. Thank you for coming up with a portable filter that works. The others is just a plane filter that removes some of these but not all or the majority of the impurities

Water filter Woes…
I ordered my normal GE water filter 3 pack as usual. Not usual was that somehow I got something added to the the order; it was some sort of mat or device. I know I never ordered it because I still don't know what it's good for. I couldn't take it off the order so I sent in the order followed immediately by an Email to your customer service explaining the problem. The next day I got an Email from your customer service telling me it might not have been my mistake; maybe the website. I got my filters, an apology and now have an excellent opinion of your company. All companies make mistakes. The best ones simply right the wrong as quickly and politely as possible. Like you.
