Simple unsophisticated interface that works fine! Reliable. It's free, but pay a small amount per year and you get a mirror site back-up from a different location, so if there is a glitch, you have a safety net. Really good site. You can programme the normal site and the mirror site to put in your bid a few seconds before the auction ends.

This little online tool has helped me win more auctions than I care to admit to my wife 😉

I have tried several of these sniping tools, and settled on Gixen. I have happily paid the small optional fee each year (it gives you access to the mirror sites). Don't get me wrong, it worked perfectly in its free version, but the fee is so small, I am happy to pay it.

Just started using this today and it is great! Very reliable and a very reasonable cost if you want the upgrade, though works great without. Very happy :-)

I've been using Gixen a LOT for the last year or so & it hasn't let me down. The annual fee to use their "mirror" service is a great bargain if you do even a little bidding on eBay.
The interface is a little klunky & it often takes a while when I tell it to update my watchlist. But my bids have always been placed just when I want.

Have used Gixen for over 12 months now. Absolutely amazing service , it has never let me down. I pay for the mirror service which I think has ensure that every bid is placed successfully. Thank you so much , well worth every penny ( you probably could charge more tbh! )

Utterly brilliant service, I wouldn't buy without them!!!

I used Gixen for the first time today.I provided the required info. this was about three hours before the auction ended. when the auction concluded, i was outbid, so i checked the auction history only to find that my bid had been placed approx. three hours before the auction concluded. Of course I lost. So much for Gixen. I won't trust them again.

I've used Gixen for years and it has never let me down. It's a bargain for the service you get and well worth signing up for the annual subscription so it's always there whenever you need it.

Just joined as Goofbid is now useless.

Gixen has worked well for me for years. I am very satisfied with it. The user interface is well designed. Even though I do not use Gixen frequently, I have no trouble picking it up again whenever I do come back to it.

I have used Gixen for years and have never had any complaints and I highly recommend it.

I have used Gixen for a good couple of years now, initially their free service, then I used the paid up service which comes at a negligible cost but offers a few more features and customisation plus a secondary back-up sniping site in case of any technical issues with the main one. I've used it for bidding on everyday lower value items but also for more expensive stuff including motorcycles, cameras etc where I need to be able to rely on the service.

I'm bound to say after experimenting with a few other sniping sites, Gixen has been ultra-reliable - it's never let me down - and it's never been 'in your face' in terms of emails or correspondence you don't want. So I'll be continuing my subscription.

I always win my auctions. You can't beat that.

Very useful tool buying from ebay can actually save you money, not always but use it frequently and you will be surprised how very handy this service is also. Manager is courteous, helpful and enlightening. Application is small, effectively accurate. Costs are cheap by any standards.

I rarely bid on Ebay may be 2 or 3 times a year. But, almost every time I have used Gixen, I have successfully won my bid. I like that I can have several ongoing bids for different items at the same time. I have done that once and won two of the three items. When I lost, it was because my high bid limit was too low. I highly recommend Gixen.

Was once a great website to snipe for deals on ebay, however few last time when used it was filled with ads, donations etc, but that is not the worst.

The worst thing is that it failed to place a bid few times, due to website errors
