Currently chatting over email to a…

Currently chatting over email to a advisor about my sons headset, it’s a wireless headset with a mic that folds up and down and that came out and with that the wire inside come out of it so totally ruined. Sent off my initial contact form request and after a few emails decided they would send me a replacement free off charge and asked for my address and number but they said completely different headset. After I questioned this suddenly they want me to send off the broken headset to them so they can send me a replacement even though it says on a slip in the box quibble free so not only have they changed there mind about sending a new one out in the first place they now want me to pay for mine to be sent off while I’m in isolation!
Absolute joke still not got to the bottom of this.

tx70 wireless headphones

tx70 wireless headphones

I cant give 1 star because i got around 3months of use.
1 - microphone that i was able to easily detach by pulling it towards my mouth ( compared to other headsets where you can move it towards your mouth flexibly
2 - took them off my head today and left plastic broke off now its hanging on the cable
3 - i dont even want to use superglue its superrubbish
4 - sound quality compared to any other product on market = trash even equalizer is dog

Update from previous poor review

In the interest of fairness, after my previous scathing review, you will see that I did get a response from Gioteck (I will also add that I sent a message via Facebook with a copy of my poor review).
I was contacted via the email response that I had previously engaged with to be informed that after a review of my case a replacement under warranty had been authorised. I was asked to supply my address and the colour/ console compatability which I duly did. Within 24 hours a new pair of headphones have been delivered, via DPD. Hopefully these headphones will prove to be fault free, it's a shame I experienced the initial runaround but after a bit of time and effort their customer service has proved to be really rather good.

controller did not last a day

Got a Nintendo switch controller. It felt and looked cheap and was really chunky and hard to use. I played it once with my freind and after 1 hr it ran out of battery after we charged it up it we tried to connect it the same way it said in the manual but it just wouldnt connect so we had to take it back to the store. Gioteck controllers are a waste of money and your better of getting an official controller.

Worst headsets every made!!!

Worst headset company ever all there headsets snap when using them ear cup snapped of mine traded them for a brand new set from Argos and the same thing happened again they use cheap nasty plastic and I would highly recommend not to use this company for anything as there products don’t last more than a day if your lucky will never buy again!

W4 Wired switch controller

Bought a controller the w4 series for my switch. After finding out it doesn't work i tried to upgrade the firmware. Turns out, tje software for upgrading the firmware doesn't work either. So i figured i should call them but no.. no phone number only support email.. still waiting for reply.

GIOTECK I HATE YOU ALL

Its freaking garbage. I bought a controller and the next day i charged it and it broke. The shopkeeper had a grin in his face when i bought it so he knew it was bad. The motion sensor is super bad. I dont even touch it the game thinks it was shaking. DONT BUY SUPER BAD BIG PRICE

I got the bp2s battery pack and the was no 4m plug and play wire in the sealed box emailed the gioteck 7 days ago to no email back verry unhappy with think its out of order and can not return the goods to the store i get it from as i have lost to reseat and there no contact number for the company anywhere such a bad customer service team

HCP4 headphones

After 1 month of using my HCP4 headphones the Mic no longer works. The jack connection is very weak and poor it simply doesn't hold it in place. I have emailed them today (31-01-19) hopefully I get a quick response and a good service.

Gioteck, poor product, worse after sales care

support.gioteck.com took too long to respond. That's what the Gioteck webpage says when you look for product support, and what you can expect from this company. Of course you can email info at gioteck.com but you'd be better off banging your head against a brick wall. I bought some HC2+ headphones in June 2018 from UK retailer Argos, priced at £19.99, its now September and the microphone has stopped working. Tried support page on the website but the page cannot be reached. I contacted them through the info at gioteck.com email as I wanted an exchange or refund. One week later, nothing, nada, sweet f.a. from them. Moral of this story kids and parents buying a supposed 'value for money' headphones, don't waste your money on their garbage and instead buy turtle beach or afterglow as they acknowledge their customers and obviously value them, unlike Gioteck who couldn't give a toss if you ever purchased from them again. Well done Gioteck, I wont be buying any more of your products for either me or my two kids, both with PC's and xboxes. Nice one.

Slow customer support, poor quality

It had been 10 days since I contacted Customer Support in accordance with the product guarantee. 'Gioteck' state that you should complain to them directly rather than approach the retailer (GAME). Despite this, I have yet to receive an acknowledgement or response. The product, a BP2S Battery Pack for Xbox One, has been defective. I wrote to them within the first 28 days of purchase. I would not recommend this product and their 'Customer Support' seems to be ineffective.

Within 45 minutes of leaving this review, their Customer Support replied to my email suggesting I send the item to them for testing (at my expense) or I return to the retailer for a refund or replacement (at odds with their 'customer support' policy). Because of their response, I have improved my rating, but I cannot be bothered to pursue this any further. The item quality was substandard.

Poor product and even worse customer service, wish I'd read these reviews before we bought the RC3 chair.

Bought from Amazon before Christmas 2015, but saved as a birthday treat in March. By the end of March one of the speakers didn't work. Then started trying to get a response from Gioteck support !!! Well, in June they said they would contact us to arrange collection and delivery and of course we are still waiting. Would not buy from Gioteck again (5270674)

RUBBISH GAMING CHAIR

I bought a Gioteck rc3 from Amazon. It was faulty. I had a second one sent. Guess what.....it was faulty! Bad luck or bad product - I know what I believe. Got my money back.

If you want my advice - avoid the hassle.

GIOTECK FOR CHEAP FAULTY GAMING CHAIRS - BE WARNED!

My advice to anyone looking to buy a gaming chair is do your online research first - I unfortunately didn't!

Online research consistently sees commentary which appears to advise that Gioteck have been having serious quality control issues with their gaming chairs for an extended period of time. This tells you that something is inherently wrong at this business - be it management or product or both.

My experience has been a very frustration one - I originally bought a Gioteck RC5 Gaming Chair about a year ago from Amazon. In short the chair was faulty - speakers didn't work quality of upholstery was poor. I just assumed I'd been unlucky. I ended up getting a refund because the person I bought it from didn't have any more stock.

Stupidly, I went and bought the chair again thinking lightening wouldn't strike twice - it did! Again, similar issues with the chair. Again a refund from Argos. The customer service
people at Argos confirmed that Gioteck Gaming Chairs had the worst returns rate of any gaming chair.

My advice - avoid Gioteck gaming chairs and you potentially avoid a whole lot of hassle!
