Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Order a $70 “100% cotton” shirt. Received it and it feels like plastic.
Won’t let me return even though the items isn’t as described which is illegal in Australia.

Beware of refund policy

Gingham and Heels offer easy returns, but forget to mention that its almost impossible to get a refund for a badly made item. If they change their returns/refund policy I might have a look at buying from them but until than I wouldn't buy a thing.

i WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THIS STORE AGAIN, THE SIZING IS INCONSISTANT AND THE SIZE CHART IS NOT ACCURATE, MOST OF THE ITEMS DON'T SAY IF THE DRESSES ARE LINED OR WHAT FABRIC THEY ARE INSTEAD THEY TELL YOU WHAT EARRINGS TO WEAR! THEY SENT ME A $25 BIRTHDAY VOUCHER SO I THOUGHT I WOULD BUY A PAIR OF PANTS CHOSE SIZE 10 PANTS AS I AM IN SIZE 8 JEANS THEY WERE TOO SMALL SO SENT BACK FOR A CREDIT WHICH DID NOT INCLUDE THE GIFT VOUCHER APPARENTLY YOU DON'T GET THAT BACK, SO I USED THE CREDIT AND ORDERED A SIZE 10 DRESS WHICH WAS MASSIVE WAY TOO BIG COST ME $10 TO RETURN THE DRESS TO BUY ANOTHER DRESS WHICH WAS SIZE 10 AGAIN BUT TOO TIGHT SENT IT BACK AND THEY ARE NOW SAYING IT SMELLED OF PERFUME AND HAD STAINS ON IT SO THEY WILL NOT CREDIT IT AND IF I WANT THE DRESS BACK WILL HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $10 - I LITERALLY JUST TRIED IT ON - IT HAD TAGS AND I DID NOT SEE ANY STAINS ON IT SO IF THERE WERE THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE PRIOR. THIS IS THE WORST ONLINE STORE I HAVE EVER PURCHASED FROM.

This company offers the worst customer service I have ever experienced

This company offers the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I received my dress today and noticed immediately that there was a hole in the stitching. I spoke to their customer service team on chat who advised they could not send me a replacement as they were sold out and they could not offer me a refund unless I went to the effort of returning the dress in the post and would not provide the refund until they received the dress in their warehouse. They offered me a partial refund of only 20% to get the dress repaired myself. This amount ($20) was not enough to cover the cost of the repair.

To make matters worse, the customer service agent "Tracy" ended our chat before processing the partial refund, without actually completing the refund. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.

It has been a month since I sent in my return and still no store credit. They say that it isn't issued until they receive it, but the tracking you get is just to their California warehouse. You have to wait until they get it back in Australia. Just ridiculous. Also sizing was not even close to accurate, runs very small.

Absolutely awful customer service, refused a refund, no nice dresses in my size and TERRIBLE QUALITY

Absolutely awful customer service! I wouldn’t recommend purchasing anything from this company. I received a dress which was huge so I went to return it for a smaller size, absolutely NO sizes left in that one and only dress I ordered and wanted. I asked for a refund, they refused and said I have to pick something else. I didn’t want anything else, I wanted that dress. Fine, I look through the website and absolutely nothing in my size
That I would even wear. They still refused a refund. Then they offer me 110% credit and an extension on the credit, I agreed as otherwise I just lose my money. Then they didn’t get either of their promises when I finally received my credit note and I’ve tried contacting them 3 times and they are now just ignoring me. Hideous customer service in every way possible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Also the quality of the dress was terrible too - cheap material. Better quality clothing on Temu and Shein!

size chart is incorrect

I have had several attempts at using a credit I've been issued (they don't do refunds) because the garment I bought didn't fit. The sizing on their chart does not give the measurements of the garment. For most brands I'm an AU14, but they are suggesting I try a size 18 which seems ridiculous. I'm now stuck with a credit I can't use because nothing in this brand fits me. Be VERY cautious of purchases.

AVOID

AVOID! bad quality and their policies for refund/exchange are, not only out dated, but taking advantage of customers. No wonder their ads are all over FB and IG, they're paying by ripping off consumers.

Head to Showpo, you'll have a better experience.

Poor quality

Poor quality, refused a refundI recently bought a jacket, when it arrived it looked completely different to the photo, was poor and horrible quality and fit. Would not issue a refund despite the ACCC mandate on poor quality. They would not issue a refund based on my apparent change of mind. Which is inept considering an online purchase is unseen. Absolutely do not buy from this company, awful quality and no returns is daylight robbery these days,

They do not refund

I purchased two dresses for my wedding. One did not fit despite both being the same size. They have refused to refund and will only offer credit. This goes against consumer law.

Terrible customer service

How excited was I to get my xmas dress at the black friday sale event, only for it to come and it did not fit. whilst I realise it was on sale ($80 mind you not cheap) all I wanted was to send it back and get the next size up, even offered to pay for shipping both ways - Was told NO - whilst I get the policy this was a simple one on one exchange, they would lose absolutely NOTHING - I was told NO - as a first time customer and now never again I am truly disgusted. I have an $80 dress I cannot wear, and cannot afford to replace - and they refused to help. This kind of customer service is just disgusting - save your money everyone - the clothes are not worth the $ and the service is just awful. A happy person might tell 1 or 2 people an unhappy person will yell it from the roof tops! Your company is a joke

I ordered a dress from here and when I went to return it, I was given an option if I wanted store credit or a refund. I asked for a refund. I then received a store credit. I reached out to them to ask them to kindly give me a refund and they absolutely refused , stating their policy is store credit. Buyer beware. If something doesn’t fit or you no longer want the item for any reason, you will not get your money back!! Sooo many other stores and businesses will be fair and give you your money back. Now I’m stuck with store credit for a store that treats people unfairly. A refund for an unworn item of clothing is the bare minimum. It’s too bad because if they would have a fair policy, I would want to continue buying from them and recommending them. There shouldn’t be an option upon check out if they do not honor it!!

Don't buy from this company

Don't buy from this company. Their garments are made with poor quality fabrics and the sizes are way off track. Returned everything for a refund as too expensive for such poor quality items, but they will only offer me a store credit. When I explained AGAIN that the return was due to their poor quality, they are ignoring my emails. Can't call them as they don't answer. Buyer beware. They take your money and don't care after that!!!!!!!!!!

The only store I’ve come across where…

The only store I’ve come across where you have to pay for your own shipping back to them and can only get a store credit! No refunds here I wouldn’t ever be buying from here again.

You shouldn’t have to pay for your own shipping for a return if you’re getting a store credit in return. If I have to pay my own shipping I should be entitled to a refund. I’ve never come across a shop who won’t give refunds, they must be struggling for money.

Sizing isn’t the best either size 6 is more like size 8
