huge let down and 4070 is collecting dust. Xmas present still fooling with it in Aprils end.

I have bought two motherboards from them and they both bricked themselves for no reason and the manufacture refused to replace them. They are under warranty for that but they don't care. If they don't replace it and get hold of me at lumpkinsart at ge-mail I am writing bad reviews for them because they are in the big chain stores god forbid more people feel this ripped off. 500 bucks down the drain on two boards.

the end of gigabyte

worst company of all time. During a RMA i was given a liquid stained board with deep liquid or oil stain on the cpu rails among other things... It apparently passed 2 or 3 quality control checks, while being scratched on the cpu back plate, dirty and fluffed up as if a cat slept on it. Gigabyte and the local agent of gigabyte would not own up or apoligize at all. other board manufacturers and processor manufacturers had to step in before and even then they did not acknowledge they did anything bad even though a hazardous board was given to me. the situation is still 3+ months running so far and refund was refused. apparently they think that breaching contracts and sourcing grey damaged goods and giving out goods that cannot comply with their own policy, or goods that have checkboxes with warning list or hazards list aren't at all enough to lose credibility or reputation. so they had to go all out to make me drop their credibility to -100

Always Overhating Issues

I've had 8-9 cards from evga with no problems. I've had 2 from MSI with no problems. I've had 3 from Gigabyte AND THEY HAVE ALL HAD PROBLEMS. I have no idea how this company has such a good reputation. RMA turnaround is the reason for this particular review.

Edit: added 1-stars since they did eventually return a working card that still runs crazy hot.

Edit #2: added another star for the folks who helped me with the RMA. Thank you!

Gigabyte Support aorus z790 elite ax motherboard c-state bug

Just don't ever buy a Gigabyte product ever it's just not worth the hassle, I bought a Gigabyte aorus z790 elite ax motherboard after a bios up date 11 started going into constant reboot cycle and pc was unusable, tried everything thing, ram check, checking cables and peripherals, cmos reset etc nothing finally turned to gigabyte support ticket via their website who told me to go to gigabyte service centre scorptec, after three drop off's and returns still rebooting. Even though they claimed it was working, felt gaslighted. Only found solution on reddit!! a bug gigabyte is aware of with this motherboard and certain Intel CPUs after bios update 11 called the c-state bug. Followed post now working after 4 weeks of money spent on new PSU, HDD and travel to and from service center. Even now gigabyte support want even answer any questions or acknowledge any fault just short responses that indicate they never read my request at all and referring to gigabyte in third-party?? Obviously outsourcing. So long story short DO NOT PURCHASE

Bad everything!

Tons of issues with software, hardware failing right after warranty finished. 642 black screen crashes in 3 years. Customer support was no help after spending 2 full days of trying what they suggested. Would have to pay for 2 way shipping, diagnostic time, parts, repair time and NO warranty that the issues will be fixed or after repair guarantees. Keep your money for ASUS is what i learned!

Defective Motherboard, More Defective Customer Service

I received a defective motherboard and have been trying to get it fixed or replaced since February 6. It is extremely unclear where you need to go to resolve your particular issue. It was clear I was looking for a replacement due to the issues with the product but it took several messages before technical support would give me the link to the warranty claims page.

The warranty claims website requires a different log in and would not let me log in for multiple days, then directed me to the seller, who told me it was (as it should be) Gigabyte's responsibility to address the problem. When I spoke to a customer service rep they told me it would take 20+ more days before I had a working motherboard.

I just spoke to a customer service rep for the second time and they refused to provide any compensation for the horrible experience, even covering shipping to their facility. I work in customer service myself and tried to be very careful in the way I expressed my frustration. I was not happy but my language was professional and I feel my ask was reasonable. He seemed amused by the fact that I was upset.

I wish I looked up their rating here before I bought, but I certainly won't be making the mistake of purchasing a Gigabyte product again and will be doing what I can to spare my friends as well.

No more Gigabyte

Very bad experience with my Gigabyte Eagle 3090 24GB OC, suddenly my GPU just stopped, I was playing and blackscreen, when checked the warranty one day later was on the day it expires! which a coincidence... I managed to get the card to a local technicians but a repair is not possible as the GPU chip is on short... After that I opened a ticket to request support, not only a late response but unprofesional, seemed like they didnt read my message that I already tried to fix it... anyways no exclusions, but not only, very poor service, no more Gigabyte for us.

Great customer service, long wait times

Not sure what exactly happened with the other reviews. Bad luck I guess.
Had my 3080 ti ($1,100 when I bought it) break on me, called the support and they led me to make an RMA request, which I did. Shipped it off to the nearest gigabyte facility and had updates every now and then. Ended up with a free upgrade to a 4080 Super ($1300-$1999)!
However, the whole thing from shipping out to receiving took about 3 weeks. Entirely worth it for the upgrade. For that, i give it 4 stars.
All was done under warranty.
Only thing I had to pay for was shipping.

This company is beyond dreadful

This company is beyond dreadful, near on zero customer support if you get a problem. We purchased aorus monitor via Amazon it lasted 5 months then packed up over night. Then various e mails were sent with only pathetic responses back like switch it on and off.I suggest you research gigabyte coop before buying from them, as most people have had the same experience.Thankfully Amazon have agreed to refund we have now purchased a new azuis monitor which is much better all round.

Gaming Monitor terrible definition.

Bought a G32QC monitor it's "ok" while gaming but not much use otherwise.

Text displays like it's from the 1980's, and youtube videos are too blurry to bother with. Haven't tried streaming anything.

I tried downloading their software but their instructions don't reflect reality. No support. So?

Very disappointed!

Team does not honor warranties, scammers

Team does not honor warranties. Box says 4 years. They will not do anything about it and I have had to file complaints with state authorities for false advertising and theft.

Helpdesk Team did absolutely nothing to resolve issues. Just a polite "Sucks to be You".

1500 dollar card down the drain. DO NO BUY ANY GIGABYTE PRDUCTS their scammers and do not honor their warranties.

Called their number after digging forever on the web and got the same nonsense. Their CSR was just as unknowledgeable and helpful as their HD support.

MY household will never own another gigabyte product.

Absolute scam!

Absolute scam!

participated in their AMD cashback offer. Bought a mainboard and CPU. they send wait 14 days before doing anything, so I did. Now they want a photo of the CPU - which ofc right now has a cooler and paste on it. They won't accept the invoice I have or anything else for that matter. Absolute disgusting scummy douchebag company I will NEVER buy anything from again. Tried reasoning with their shit tier customer support and of course they just play stupid.

Absolute bullshit. They on purpose tell people to not send in requests for 14 days knowing full well by then every sane person has already put that CPU in and then they can pretend it was in their rules all along EXCEPT it only pops up as a rule that it has to be a screenshot of the product and not the invoice after those 14 days have passed.

They can go f themselves to all 7 hells. F gigabyte.
