Convenient method to send a gift card to loved ones who are long distance. The fees are a bit steep, as the gift card was for $75, but the final total was over $90. Perhaps this is the price we pay fo... See more

Terrible experience

Update; Going on 45 days without any satisfactory resolution. Still can’t use the card, and they still have my money Yes, there are many good reviews, but that’s if you don’t have a issue with them like I did, please use other sites. I contacted several of their competitors as a experiment and they all responded within a few hours even though I didn’t place a order or had a code. Giftly on the other hand takes a minimum of 5-7 days to respond and this is what frustrates consumers the most and what turns small issues into big issues. I have Updated several times over the past weeks. Please read all the reviews and decide if you want to put yourself through this
UPDATE; OVER A MONTH, have not received any refund and the “Customer Service Representative “ named Sladjana… takes days to respond to simple questions and when I respond in minutes later.. I still have to wait… I urge anyone who reads this to read the other 1 and 2 star reviews… they play games with your money and time and are not professional or ethical… read the whole review; Update: over a month since purchase and still no refund or response after a week of emails and calls;
Terrible experience. First off, they basically just move your money around for a fee. If it works; great, but if there is a issue like there was with me, you and your gift recipient will be struggling for weeks trying to get anything done or answers and they will hold your money!. Each email sent gets a automated response that says allow for 5 days for a response; hope you don’t mind that doesn’t include weekends and will take days longer than that. Them expect the same thing for a follow up response!
I bought 2 cards and one was delivered and used with no problems. The other had a issue and couldn’t be activated. After the first attempt of contact , I was told it would be 5 days before I could get a response; really? After almost ten days I was able to activate the card.. they said a “step was missed “.and to be clear; it was on their end! Well, here is where it gets completely ridiculous.There was a issue when the recipient tried to use the card about a week later, again after it was successfully activated . After contacting Customer Service yet again, guess what? Another 5 day response message, and the response was; the card was cancelled somehow by the same “customer service rep “ who helped me activate it in the first place … so, I have 250$ in the wind for over 3 and a half weeks that I don’t have, my gift recipient doesn’t have or can use and still no answers and I have to probably wait longer for a refund or whatever it takes to get my money back… it’s a simple service that turned into a scam and nightmare … the real problem is how much they disregard someone’s time and money! I recommend using other services or other methods than these people…I spent a ridiculous amount of wasted time and aggravation for a simple service that is still not resolved after almost a month . The Customer Service team is unprofessional and unorganized and any online service that takes literally weeks to get back to you or does not have a live person to talk to; this service should not be trusted or used.:. Again, over 3 weeks and this issue is not resolved . I have not received any resolution or response after several attempts to contact them and have edited this several times to reflect this… the best part of this review is, it is with TRUSTPILOT and has been verified so of you don’t want a hassle and runaround take this review seriously.. I still don’t know if I will get my money back..266$

5 stars. Easy. Particularly good bc it can be delivered by text. The vendor I used didn’t have that option hence why I used Gifty. Good job. I also really liked that I can pick a date and TIME for delivery. Particularly when you’re in different time zones.

Frustrating Experience and Unusable Gift Card

I had a very disappointing experience with Giftory and would strongly caution others before purchasing from them.

I bought a $100 gift card as a birthday present for my mother, expecting it to be a simple and enjoyable gift. Unfortunately, it turned into a frustrating and stressful experience. My mother was unable to redeem the card due to repeated validation issues at the selected restaurant. Despite carefully following all the instructions provided, the system simply didn’t work as expected.

What should have been a straightforward process felt unnecessarily complicated and poorly designed. A gift card is supposed to offer convenience and flexibility, but in this case, it created confusion and inconvenience instead.

This situation completely undermined the purpose of the gift and left both of us disappointed. I have since requested a full refund, as the service did not deliver what was promised.

Overall, a very poor user experience. I would not recommend Giftory based on this experience.
