We also completely understand the desire for more direct integrations, and we’re continuing to expand those where they make sense. One important clarification is that Gidayup AI Employees are not simple AI agents or API-only workflows. For many platforms, OAuth/API access alone does not provide the same permissions, visibility, context, or audit trail needed to complete real work end-to-end.
That is why, in certain cases, inviting the AI Employee as a user is necessary. It allows the employee to operate inside the platform with the appropriate role, permissions, and accountability, similar to how a human team member would.
That said, reducing setup friction is absolutely a priority for us, and feedback like this helps us decide which direct integrations to prioritize next. We really appreciate you using Gidayup and sharing your experience.
