Now I understand why they call themselves the “ghost book writers” because that’s exactly what they do! They are a take the money and ghost you kind of company. I’ve never dealt with such unprofessional humans in my entire life and they better give me back my money. Don’t waste your time with these people. They’re 100% scammers!

This company is a scam. I tried using them for their publishing service and it was horrible. I told them I wanted my money back because they do claim that you’ll get a refund if you’re not happy with the product. That’s totally false. Steer clear of this company!!!

I am not a person just writing a fake review of this company. I am one that at first had many doubts that I was doing the right thing, by allowing them to publish my book. I had no faith or trust in them at first, and to be honest even up until the end was unsure. Sara tried to explain and help me along in the process, and she wanted me to trust her. I tried, I really tried. You can verify if you would like, because my finished book is now on Amazon. Country Jack's Boarding Kennel... My Life in the Doghouse. When I first held the book in my hand, and opened the pages to my story, and saw the pictures first-hand.... I was so happy. It took a very long time to get to this point, and I was not always the nicest. Sara always talked me through my issues. Never once did she raise her voice at me, and always calmed me down. If you need to create a book, give them a try. I am one of little faith in people.... They pulled me in, and I love my book. Thank you to a wonderful team.... and so sorry for my short temper....

The Chat feature is so good precisely because they are real humans engaging with you --- unlike too many legitimate companies which primarily use bots or are heavily scripted. After that disingenuous customer service it is all crap.

The English grammar in the emails and text msgs sound off, publishing jargon is misused, and my "Sr Project Manager" never did address my name correctly. Whuh?! Yet: they know how to call for money! I've already alerted my bank - and these Ghost Book Fakers, too - about commencing a refund request owing to suspected fraud. The last telephone call with "Clementine Lee" (fake name) left homegirl feeling disappointed...and speechless. "So...you won't be sending the $400 today?..."

This company is also the same company as ghost authors and others. The reviews below with five stars are fake reviews. They are ,in my opinion and research, fake. The ones with one star are the true ones the ones where they have been scammed out of thousands of dollars and out of their story. Why trustpilot still has these five star reviews on here is ridiculous. They all come from the scam artists. The negative reviews below are indeed fact because it happened to me. And other authors that I have located. Ghost authors are refusing to give me a refund because I will not behave. A legal team members words, not mine. Oh by the way their names are also fake. They are all American names but not even close to being an American. I have every phone call and recording as well as every email and text. They are all scammers. Buyer beware!!! Do NOT give them a second thought for your money and you will never see anything for your hard work and money lost!! They pretend to get the legal team after you.. for what? Just because they don't want to give a refund for scamming you. They're scare tactics are unreal. Still haven't received money from them. hmmm..., In my opinion, Narcissistic evil at best

I found ghostbookwriters on a google search when I was looking to have my first book edited. I contacted them and at first then seemed nice, I was in a very unstable place mentally at the time so I was unaware of the warning signs. The first phone call was very pushy to get me to buy a very expensive package. Needless to say I agreed. The payment system was another warning sign, at the time my mental health was poor and ignored this and paid them £1,000. For editing. Then the issues started to arise. Deadlines were never met and the editing I did get back was so poorly done it was almost in another language.

I was then informed that by law I would need a copyright certificate and this was £450. Stupidly I paid this, I never saw a copyright certificate and I never heard anymore or this after. The next hard sell to me was publication and marketing the biggest con of all at £1,500. I had no idea at the time of KDP self publishing and this was all it was uploading my own work to amazons KDP which is free anyway. The book cover they designed was embarrassing, spelling mistakes on the title and the spine not fitting the book. Overall I conned for over £3,000 for my book and artwork by this so called company.

I challenged this and they promised to put it right. At the same time I was having artwork created by them. Again deadlines not being met. I challenged this and was starting to get ghosted. I would message their webpage platform and as soon as I informed them who I was they would leave the chat. I would phone them only to be abused over the phone. Then there was this Mike who refused to give me what I paid for and threatened me with legal action as I left them negative reviews.

Well no… I have seen so many others who have been scammed by this company who also person as ghostbookwriting and ghost authors. This is not a real company. If you trace the phone calls it leads you all back to the same location. Thankfully I have kept every single message, every single email and I will ensure that anyone else who is scammed by this company is supported in bringing this illegal scamming charade to justice.

I haven't read the reviews and called Ghostbookwriters.co.uk for book publishing. A person with an Indian or Bangladeshi answered the phone. When I began making questions about their location being in the UK and other details, he struggle to respond and hang up the phone. I will never contact them again. I contacted Ghost Book Writing to help edit and publish my book. They did half of the work poorly and constantly called me trying to get me to pay more money for things I didn’t need from them. They were full of excuses for not completing the work and quite rude as well. When it became clear that they weren’t going to finish the work I had already paid for, I asked for a refund for the undone work. They then ghosted me. They are a total scam as it turns out. I tracked their website and found that their work is done out of Pakistan and not London as they claim. None of their editors or staff are native English speakers, so that’s why their editing work is so terrible. The 5-star online reviews are fake. The positive video reviews are paid actors. Any money you give them is completely wasted. Stay away!

Do not use them, they are a scammer. In the beginning, they are really pleasant and listen to you, then they push you to pay more and more giving you different packages, promising you that they will publish your book mentioning that they have so many contacts with publishers. Their trick is to harassed people with phone calls every hour selling dreams until you accept to pay more.
They just cut all the communications with you. I have tried to call them but they blocked me and I email them to ask for a refund without success. For All, the victims, I also want to mention that I'm 100% sure that they are connected to Ghost Book Writing in California as they have the same methods of scamming people, same name: Adam Smith, Trevor Askew... Please do not use them, my friend and I lost a lot of money because we believed in their lie and now it's been 3 months that we haven't got any news.

Hired them for book marketing, with a deal that promised 150% return on investment within 5 months or a full refund. They failed to deliver, failed to explain why, and failed to refund the money.

I was told in February that they'd had problems with a cyber attack and this is why they're currently struggling to action anything (they have a surprising number of recent 5* reviews taking this fact into account). They promised to refund the money if I took my previous 1* review down. I did so, and alas, the money hasn't arrived. I've now had to issue a CCJ against them in order to try and get the refund.

They are one of two companies (along with SEO ProHub UK) who form part of the Orbit umbrella that I've had the mispleasure of working with. But they are all one team of evasive, dishonest and untrustworthy individuals.

Did an amazing job. I like the way the writer transformed my content though there was a lack in customer support for sometime in the middle but the final product was great.

When I was writing my book, I wanted to hire a professional company who could edit and publish it for me. Bad. What an awful experience, my hopes of some great help were raised only to be dashed by appalling writing from them. Honestly it was like someone had written the drafts in a different language and then used google translate to convert to English - but not UK English, the draft was full of spelling mistakes and z's instead os s's. The drafts they sent had no logic and sometimes an object would be referred to as a single item and then in the next sentence it would be in the plural. They gave me a 30% refund which was a bit like a slap in the face as non of the work was useable. What seemed to be very attractive at first turned out to be a rotten tomato.
