Rude Customer Service
I ordered 3 sets of sheets on 11/24/23 for Christmas gifts and they have not arrived. When contacting customer service 12/18/23, I was told they were delayed until the end of Jan. Obviously unhappy that this was never disclosed but even more unhappy that my refund would take 10 - 15 days just to process, I ask for a manager. Ryan, the supervisor not manager, came on the line and was the rudest customer service rep I have ever spoken to! He not only talked over me but lied and said I was informed of the delay! He would not let me speak to another hopefully not so rude manager. I hung up and called back trying to speak to someone who would listen because that is all I wanted, to be heard! I worked in Customer Service for years and I am appalled that any CSR would treat a customer this way, much less a supervisor. My advice don’t waste your time or money dealing with this company!
Partner Got 2 single beds with drawers…

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
I contacted Ghostbed to see if they could help with a warranty issue I am having with the flame-retardant detaching from the foam part of the mattress. The customer service person claimed I removed the cover because how else would I have known it was detached and that it void my warranty? I told them I did not remove it because I could feel it through the cover. They then said I needed to supply this laundry list of photos and the order number. Then I asked them if they could find my order because I had purchased it 6-7 years ago via their website and no longer had it. Shockingly, they just so happened to be unable to locate my order at all when using my delivery address, name, phone number, and various emails I gave them. Then the customer service person said, "Well, I am sorry; there is nothing we can do, but we are currently having some great deals right now for a new mattress." Like, are you kidding me? I told them, why in the world would I order from a company that has such awful customer service and can't even locate their own customers orders? Then they tried to say, "Well, maybe you didn't order from our website." Unbelievable. They were implying I was either lying about all of it or had no clue where I bought my bed from. For the record, it was 100% purchased from the Ghostbed website.
Do yourself a favor and do not order from this company; there are better companies out there that are also made in the USA and who actually care about their customers.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever, the massage is nothing more then an annoying loud rumbling. The mattress luxe is god awful no support you sink in it. Wake up in pain every day! They wouldn’t take it back in the trial period, they said that they couldn’t take it back because I had buyers remorse! I didn’t have buyers remorse I had stupidity remorse for trusting this company and it’s fake reviews! There should be a class action against this company, I also bought the universal bed brackets for the headboard they didn’t fit or work at all.
DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. This was by far the worst Mattress I have ever slept on. I hated it, my wife hated it, Mom and Niece who dog sit for us hated it.
What ghost bed does not tell you is that the 101 guarantee is only for the Mattress, you have to keep and pay for the Foundation and anything else you bought from them. When I tried to return, they insisted that I must try their foam topper worth $500 that they will send for free. This made the bed even worse, it was a total insult to us. When they finally agreed to give me my money back, they recommend a Donation service. This service was easiest for me since they came to my house to get it. When talking to the driver, he informed me that they pick up 10-15 mattresses a week in a 200 mile radius and that Ghost bed is a huge scam.
I reviewed on the Ghost Bed Website, but magically it did not appear there. in fact, there is not a single bad review on that site, so I guess they are filtering.
This is the worst mattress topper I…
This is the worst mattress topper I have ever bought. It smells horrible and the foam looks and feels extremely cheap. It feels like the car wash foam from the dollar store. I tried to return it and the customer service was horrible. They told me that the topper was not returnable because it was a personal item which is ridiculous because a mattress is also a personal item but they give a "30 day trail" for it. Im sure theyll find a shady way to deny it though. When i bought the topper, nothing on the return policy stated it was non-returnable. When i called, they were rude and told me it was non-returnable. I told them noone ever told me when I bought it. They told me i should of done my research before buying it. They said it stated on the frequently asked questions that it was non-returnable. I said, well i didnt see it. How do you suppose to try it before buying the topper? They can just send you garbage and force you to keep it because you cant return it. Be aware before you buy. The topper is garbage and the customer service is trash. I recommend not to buy from this company. The ones from walmart are even better
This has been a true nightmare dealing…
This has been a true nightmare dealing with this company. Never took the topper out of box but open the tape on box and they are using this as a reason to not accept the return. On top of that, they will not supply you with an address to send the return to. It can not be found anywhere online.
If I was you I would be very careful dealing with this company. There has been a consumer investigation on CBS. And trust me, I have had the same experience as the other person
Our Ghostbed Experience.
We ordered a Venus Williams Legend queen-size mattress based on the company's stated 101-day easy return policy. This was the softest mattress in their arsenal, but after about 10 days we contacted Ghostbed to pick it up as we decided that it simply wasn't soft enough for us.
We were offered a mattress topper to make up for the difference in softness, but this didn't make any sense to us since we had just given away our own mattress along with a fairly expensive topper. We simply wanted a one-piece solution, not another two-pice system.
Instead of picking up the mattress as we had expected, we were now asked us to find a charity to pick it up in exchange for a charitable donation receipt, presumably for Ghostbed to benefit through a tax write-off.
Unfortunately, no charity we called would take a mattress. The only people that would take it dealt in used furniture and would charge us $200 for the pick-up service and no charitable donation receipt.
But a Ghostbed girl by the name of Jacinta kept pressing and providing 'help' by furnishing ever more potential charities in Canada. She obviously had no idea of this country's geography as some of her suggested charities were located more than 4,000 kilometres from our home.
Eventually she settled on finding a needy family or individual in our neighbourhood and donate the mattress to them, in return for their government-issued picture I.D. and a completed donation form.
After these requirement were fulfilled, the refund would supposedly take up to 15 business days, but was actually in our credit card account within three or four days. This was handled by an extremely friendly girl by the name of Mita.
Four 'Ghostpillows' that came with the mattress were ours to keep, but we gave these away since we use goose down pillows. Their pillows actually have slots to add or remove some filling to find the most comfortable sleeping thickness, an excellent feature.
We had also bought two complete sets of bedding that were available in a couple of subdued colours. We kept these as the sheets seem to be of exceptionally good quality and have a nice, silky feel to them.
I'm sure many people will appreciate a Ghostbed mattress, as did the person who ended up with ours. Yet it wasn't quite what we wanted and the pressure to find a charity willing to take it off our hands in return for a donation receipt will prevent us from ever again buying anything on a trial basis.
Worst bed ever
Worst bed ever. And I’ve bought a few. Hard to get a return done. Customer service is none. Stay away
Do Not Buy From GhostBed
We purchased a new adjustable bed but the legs were too tall. My husband found GhostBed and they advertised 6 inch universal legs for adjustable beds. He ordered a set of six for $65.00. They arrived a few days later but the leg screws were much smaller than the ones on our bed. When he contacted the company, he was told that legs were not refundable if the box had been opened and the legs used. The legs were not used, but how could he check the size if he could not open the box. The company also said if THEY decided the box had not been opened they would deduct the returned postage and a restocking fee. We have chalked this up as a loss! I normally read the reviews on companies with names like "GhostBed" but my husband made this purchase while I was at work. I think he has learned his lesson. Always check these kinds of companies out before you order anything!
The Most Un-Customer-Centric Company Ever
A few days after assembling my new Ghostbed, I received an email from Sam's Club advertising Ghostbed merchandise for HALF of Ghostbed's alleged 50%-off sale. When I spoke to a CSR at GB about this discrepancy, she reflexively responded, "We don't price match." When I pointed to the company's 101-night money-back guarantee, I was told that since I had already complained about the price, the guarantee was void. When I spoke with a supervisor, he was even more adamant. I don't even know how a company like this could remain in business.
Way too long
I’ve been charged twice and still haven’t received my refund yet 15 days is way too long too wait on your mistake
I am very disappointed in this Company
I am very disappointed in this company. I spoke to an Agent over 6 times pertaining to my order and stated what i was looking for. The Manager claims I never stated a particular mattress when I know I told the salesperson what I wanted and needed. Now they are stating I can not return the mattress which just came 2 days ago. I am very upset that I didn't see all of these complaints about this company and their unprofessional Customer Service. I will NEVER refer them to anyone.... 2 of my coworkers and 1 of my family members asked about this company. It is DEFINITELY A NO to purchase anything from this company whether it cost $1.00 or more. Terrible....
Be careful when you order from Ghost…
Be careful when you order from Ghost Bed. They say hassle free returns but they charge you a 15% restocking fee plus cost of shipping.
I ordered King size sheets but pillow cases are so small my pillow sticks out of the end. Customer service was rude.
I do NOT recommend.
Avoid this company!!!
Bought a mattress topper that was defective. Tried to return it because it’s unusable and they wouldn’t give me a refund. Complete scam. Avoid them at all costs, not a real business. Look them up with the better business bureau they’re complete garbage.
Scam artists
Scam artists.
Their mattress quality is awful. When you inevitably try to return the mattress, they will try to deny the return with some legalese in their fine print. Pathetic company. The owner should be in jail.
Nothing like what is advertised
The mattress topper they sent my looked nothing like the topper in the picture. It's was just an egg-carton piece of foam, with none of the "zones" they talk about on their website. The topper in the picture is not remotely egg-carton. It's not even the same colour. And it overhangs my bed by almost 4 inches. When I mentioned all this to the customer service rep, she said "
We have many factories all across the nation that manufacture our GhostBed Mattress Toppers .
Each manufacturer has a unique way of designing the Mattress Topper and the patterns and colors
may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. They are all GhostBed Brand Toppers.
They all have the 5 targeted zones , the cooling ice fabric on the topper and cover with the patented GhostGrips."
In other words, you have absolutely NO IDEA what you will be getting when you order from this company!
The mattress cover was dirty, with a footprint on it! There is no cooling on the topper because it's egg-carton foam!
This company is a total ripoff.
Don't buy anything from this company
Don't buy anything from this company. You won't find this even in the fine print, but if you want to return anything like the topper, pillows, and so on--unused and unopened--they charge a freight charge and a 15% restocking fee. It's $75.00 to return a 200 topper, plus 15% restocking, or you can pay for your shipping, which is about 90.00+ depending on where you live to ship to Florida. You won't find this anywhere on the website during your purchase. According to the customer service, it is in the terms and conditions. When you call a company, and the customer service rep starts her sentence with, "First off...," you should know you are in trouble and dealing with a different business.
The surfce of the mattress begain to disintegrate
The surfce of the mattress begain to flake into kernels as hard as rice. I have written to them four times with no response.
The kernels are made from the materal of the mattress - but from moving over them - they collect and feel like rice. I feel
Terrible
After sleeping on this terrible excuse for a topper for a while I started feeling like I was on a slant. It was so much lower on the side I sleep on and measured lower than the rest of the topper. They must pay for the good reviews as I can not believe anyone would be happy with this
