This app is changing my life

I am genuinely shocked at the reviews here bc (1) they’re very clear in their policies that they will remind you multiple times before your free trial is over that you will be charged (and they did for me via email and notification); (2) they allow refunds for up to 30 days, specifically bc they know people with ADHD struggle with short-term memory and might forget; and (3) this app is literally changing my life.

I knew A LOT about my ADHD and wasn’t sure this app would be any help, but I decided to give the free trial a go anyway. To me, I knew I needed to buy it. Boy, am I glad I did!

This little app has been more effective than therapy.

It has learning components, applicable advice, and it’s perfectly gamified so you actually WANT to check in every day, but you don’t hyperfocus on it.

It’s the only thing that has gotten me on a morning routine, helped me stop procrastinating, and I’ve even started keeping my spaces clean.

The best part is that I’m breaking the shame cycle I’ve been in where I think I’m not doing enough or living up to my potential. I am kinder, patient, and more loving toward myself because of this app.

I know it’s a steep price for an app, but it’s worth it.

Thank you to the developers of this app for creating this resource. There’s at least one life out here that you’ve changed.

Not useful but couldn't unsubscribe in time.

I wish I had read these reviews first. I briefly tried it but never ended up using it. It didn't seem useful and only suggested things I am already doing. I thought I had subscribed but unfortunately I had to pay for a year subscription as you can not unsubscribe from within the app and I was not able to cancel in time. Not really a great experience and a waste of $200usd on a product you can't easily cancel. I also expected a warning email about the cancellation but this did not arrive. So make sure you set lots of alarms and have access to a computer in time if you do the trial.

AVOID!!!!

My experience is similar to others. I signed up to the 7 day free trial. Cancelled it within a day or two, yet after the trial ended they charged me $200.

My refund was approved, but it really isn’t worth it.

AVOID, not worth the stress!!!

UPDATE: Just so we are absolutely clear, I cancelled it way before the free trial was up. I was charged despite cancelling within the time frame specified.

Hi Emilia,

Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience with our free trial. We understand your disappointment and want to clarify the situation.

Our free trial requires users to cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period to avoid automatic charges. We do have clear terms and conditions outlining this, but we understand that sometimes mistakes happen.

We are happy to hear that your refund request was approved. We have a generous refund policy and we are always willing to help if there are any issues with the cancellation process.

We appreciate your understanding and hope you will give Inflow another chance in the future.

Update: Thanks for providing your account details. This clarifies the situation for us.

I see you started your free trial on January 2nd, and it automatically converted to a paid subscription on January 9th. On January 11th, you contacted our support team about a refund. We promptly responded on January 12th, issued a full refund, and confirmed your cancellation.

We understand these situations can be frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion caused. We're actively working to improve our communication and make the cancellation process even clearer.

At first it was great

At first it was great. This is the 3rd month. I missed an appt due to pneumonia and being in the ER. Trying to reschedule seems impossible. The login is so basic and limited. First day I just get a blank white page with a black circle. Then I finally get an appointment but it’s for another intake. I do the appointment and no one joins. I screenshot everything and send an email but no one gets back to you. Repeat next day with another appointment and same thing. So now I suppose I will be back off the meds… after they stress the importance of follow through… I don’t know. I will probably be checking out Done and see how it goes with them. Lyssa my therapist through Inflow was great. It’s conflicting to have to make the decision because the customer service and platform are not good. Had high hopes

Caution Advised - Issues with Subscription and Appointment Services

I recently subscribed to an ADHD-focused iPhone app, only to encounter several concerns worth noting:

Pricing and Subscription Model: The app charges an annual fee of $200, which I found steep, especially since I inadvertently signed up for the premium option instead of the base one, which is $130 less. The auto-renewal feature, without clear reminders, is problematic for users like me who struggle with remembering such details. This seems to exploit a common ADHD challenge of forgetting annual commitments like this.

Lack of Transparency and Refund Policy: There were no reminders or invoices for the annual charge. When I realized this and sought cancellation, they denied any refund. The lack of transparency in billing and inflexible refund policy was disheartening.

Issues with Medication Appointment Booking: I attempted to schedule a medication appointment, but faced multiple issues:
My intake form details were lost three times, causing unnecessary delays and rescheduling.
There was confusion about appointment availability, with the support team indicating technical issues that were supposedly unreported, yet they were aware of calendar synchronization problems.
The process of repeatedly filling out intake forms, which is particularly challenging for individuals with ADHD, felt disregarded.

Potential Privacy Concerns and Customer Service: The repeated loss of my intake details raises potential HIPAA compliance questions. When I inquired about the safety and whereabouts of my data, which was visible in my portal but not in their EMR, my appointment was abruptly canceled, and they expressed an inability to work with me, despite 'appreciating the feedback'.

Inaccuracies in Professional Assignments: The nurse assigned to me had reportedly retired four years prior. This discrepancy, whether due to outdated records or other reasons, raises concerns about the app's currentness and reliability.

Final Thoughts: Given these experiences, I advise caution with this app. The combination of billing opacity, appointment scheduling issues, potential privacy concerns, and inaccuracies in professional assignments undermines the trust and reliability essential in healthcare apps, particularly for those managing ADHD.

Tried to invoice me for $200 USD without warning after 7 day free trial. Bank halted it luckily. Poor form when dealing with people with ADHD.

Extremely unhappy as you have continued to attempt to take payment from my account until payment was taken and my account was overdrawn. I cannot afford this and am extremely unhappy about this situation and InFlows service and lack of response or acknowledgement of my messages.

Can you please cancel my subscription and refund my membership fee immediately?

Mike.

Subject: Cancel membership

Hi,

Can I please cancel my membership? I signed up for the trial and payment is now attempting to process repeatedly.

This is a little concerning as I have decided to not progress with the app, but since the platform has recognised I need a subscription to proceed it has blocked me from accessing the platform at all and I cannot cancel my membership. What's concerning about this is the ethics of requiring payment after a trial period in order to decide not to proceed after the trial is over.

Although my reason for progressing was the cost of the service (the content was excellent), I am also concerned about this unethical behaviour and couldn't recommend it to anyone on that basis regardless of the cost.

Can you please cancel my membership and the continued attempts to charge me?

Thankyou.

Mike.
