Sounded like a scam until…
They get all your PERSONAL INFORMATION telling you that you need to have certain credit score to get that promotion. It sounds like a scam but then again IT IS A SCAM!
Don’t give out your information, especially your credit card info 👍🏼

Because the advertised prices are typically up to 80% off of the retail rates, our resort partners will only allow bookings from people that meet all of the qualifications. We understand the disappointment, but rest assured our discount vacation offers are definitely not a scam.

Scam through and through! Lied about available dates and took my money anyway. Then told me I should have read the fine print that says the dates are not real on the website.

After i done paid for the trip
After i done paid for the trip , got everything ready to go , hype my kids up for the trip , i receive an email the morning before i left for vacation stating that the trip is being canceled due to me traveling with westgate in 2024 .. if that was the case why didnt anyone say that on the phone while i was purchasing .. I wasted so much money for nothing!!!!!

However, as per the Terms and Conditions put forth by our Resort Partner, there are certain promotions that you will not qualify for if you have previously taken advantage of one. If you mentioned on the phone that you had not previously booked one of these promotions with the Resort but later it is verified that you indeed had, then you would not be qualified after all. The money that is taken at the time of booking is only to hold your dates and you are not charged until check in. So in this case, your money was not charged/returned since you did not check in. Warning: Bait-and-Switch Scam – Stay Away from Getaway Dealz!
Do NOT fall for the “promotion” rates offered by Getaway Dealz. This company is running a complete bait-and-switch scam. Over the phone, they ask you a series of qualifying questions, and if you meet their criteria, they confirm your booking at a discounted rate. Sounds legit, right? WRONG.
Once you arrive at the resort, they make you fill out ANOTHER questionnaire—and if any of your answers don’t match what you said over the phone, they immediately disqualify you and force you to pay the full price, which in my case was $500.
This is AFTER they had already approved my eligibility over the phone and accepted my payment. They conveniently fail to mention that you’ll need to show proof of income at check-in, and they wait until you’re there in person—on vacation—to drop this bombshell.
When I called corporate to explain the situation, I was shocked to be called a liar. There was zero accountability. No one was willing to take responsibility, and I was left paying the full price for a trip I booked under false pretenses.
This company does NOT honor their word, their fine print is misleading, and their customer service is beyond unprofessional. Save yourself the frustration, money, and disrespect—do NOT book with Getaway Dealz.

We have traveled hundreds of thousands of people through the years and no one has experienced an issue like this unless they are purposefully changing or altering information. If you provided different information at the time of booking and then changed the information once you got there, then yes there would be a problem as the one you described. All we can do is honor our word: which is that if you qualify for our promotion and attend the presentation, you will get to save hundreds of dollars on your vacation. Regards.

I want to leave this review for you because of 3 days vacation I passed in your hotel you forced me and layed me to buy a timeshare now i already paid 37000 dollars to avoid you mess my credit as you already did . I hope one day USA president or the Senate can touch this point with guys . It’s not fair stollen the people like that .

Reduced room 4 timeshare...ended up paying near full price
They told us we were pre approved over the phone for a timeshare presentation to get a room at a reduced rate once there they told us we weren't approved and charged us a fine for not going to the timeshare. We ended up still getting the room at a reduced rate but had to pay a 275$ fee
