GetAgent is a very strange website. The company will happily publish clearly fake, 5-star reviews all written by an estate agent themselves, but dare you - a long-suffering tenant - try to give an honest review that adheres to the company's guidelines, they won't bother publishing it. It's almost as if GetAgent are receiving some kind of financial incentive for boosting the profile of estate agents, by dis-allowing anything that isn't a 4- or 5-star review.

In my case, my former lettings agent committed some serious breaches (all backed with proof) and was incredibly rude and unprofessional throughout my tenancy. So imagine my surprise when I saw consistently glowing, 5-star reviews about the same company and how supposedly friendly, "exceptionally helpful and responsive" the agent is. Plus constant glowing praise towards the agent's director, as if he's some kind of demi-god. This is very much at odds with negative reviews about the agent on other websites, which completely vindicate my own complaints and concerns.

If GetAgent thinks that a company whose 90% of reviews are all written by people with the exact same naming convention - e.g. "John-S10" and Barbara-M40" - coupled with overly-effusive, marketingese that no normal member of the public would use to describe any agent - e.g. "super helpful" and "really exceptional service" repeated numerous times in different reviews - plus the persistent, grammatically questionable use of "(!!)" in various reviews, the company seriously needs to re-assess its priorities.

Lazim Miah was excellent. He gave me so much information and great questions to ask which gave me a lot of confidence when arranging valuations and choosing an agent. We signed with an agent 2 days later and sold our home 2 days after that, before it was even on the market. Well worth contacting Get Agent
