Get Hangpad Reviews 

This is a scam. I backed initial product development on Kickstarter. In March 2024. Neither I nor a large number of other crowdfunding backers have ever received the products we paid to develop. Updates promised but didn’t deliver, then stopped altogether, and the company hasn’t responded to messages. Spend your money with Hangpad at your peril.

Backed the project on Kickstarter. Was told they were shipping and asked for more money, and no product has ever arrived.
I believe you can order from the website, but reviews from the small handful who got a delivery appear to have fallen out of love with their product very quickly.
Took money, took more money and no product. Would advise a wide berth given if ordering off Amazon or their website. Smells of a scam.

No product, took money - theft.

Hard to write a review when they take your money don't give you a product. No communication, no refund- I guess that just makes it theft at that point. Do not support.

Still no updates on delivery of the Hangpad. This company is questionable.

The Hangpad is very unstable and you have to hang on for your life. Its super-hot as it has zero breathability and it has now become a waste of space as it just takes up room in my garage because it is the most awful purchase I have ever made. Sorry I ever backed it on Kickstarter.

10 months since last update on Kickstarter. Some delivered, most not. Scammers

Also on kickstarter and no product or work about when we will get it or refund which i have requested multiple times. The company took our money and didn't honor the campaign which we contributed to get them there. Very poor company.

As mentioned by others: I am a backer on Kickstarter and the have vanished without further notification. Part of the social experience on Kickstarter is the communication with your backers and they completely flunked that one. Not only that they promised a complete product and delivered nothing but took all the money.

Never recieved this! SCAM!!!!!

Backed the KS over a year ago. Now it has been silent for months. The last meaningful update was that they had to look for another manufacturer. After that, complete and utter silence. The only thing active on the KS page is backers asking for updates and / or refunds. Avoid this product at all costs, money down the drain !

I’m a Kickstarter backer for the HangPad project from over a year ago. The HangPad creator has deliberately not shipped my order and has left us in the dark with very few meaningful updates. They posted an update some time ago, but no actual products were delivered after that — it felt more like an attempt to appease backers than a real progress report.

One backer who did receive their HangPad reported that the quality was very poor. Here’s what they said:

"Maybe this will make you feel… better? I did receive mine LAST spring. On my trial setup in my yard I thought it was pretty neat. BUT — after my son and I took them on a two-week trip around Lakes Michigan and Superior, I’m sorry to say these things are very poorly designed. I was wishing I had my old hammock two days in. These HangPads are VERY unstable. Not very restful sleep when you’re spending the night hanging on for dear life. I had two exceptionally disastrous falls. Like sleeping on a slackline.
Not to mention, these things don’t breathe at all. Imagine waking up by Lake Superior in a puddle of sweat!

I’m really sorry to hear this campaign has gone to shit. I thought they had taken our initial feedback and were making improvements. Guess not — and for what it’s worth, I’ll never buy an inflatable hammock again.

These HangPads are now just gathering dust in my basement. If anyone wants them, you can have them for the cost of shipping."

This has been a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend backing anything from this creator.
