Extensive and immersive original materials. Juliane’s experience really shows in that she knows what students usually struggle with in each topic and addresses those points well in the videos. Excellent for independent learning.

German to go is one of the best online resources if you want to study and learn German at your own pace. I have been associated with German to go since 3 years now when I first completed A1 course which really built my foundation and since then I have been very confident in learning German on my own. Juliane is a a great teacher who has designed the course very carefully not just covering grammar but also German vocabulary which get complex as you go through multiple levels. One great thing which I liked about the course is that it has lessons with practical day to day use cases which will help you to navigate and German language problems in life.

My only feedback for the course is that it may not be tailored for students who are only willing to pass a German exam like B1 or B2 and one may need to refer to other resources if they want to feel more confident in passing the exam. However, if you go though all the lessons, conversation videos, practice quizzes and participate in the weekly speaking practices that won't be an issue.

Overall a highly recommended course for anyone struggling to start learning German or is stuck in a certain level.

I myself enjoyed a lot during the last year on this platform. I learned how to pronounce some of the vowel sounds in German in a great way, especially in the Aussprache course. I also watched many videos about the three available levels. The way Juliane explains and talks to us is really helpful. She is always active on the platform, by email, and even on WhatsApp, which is really admirable.

However, there were many challenges I faced while using this platform. While studying German, I feel the need to know more about the general meaning of words grammatically, syntactically, and in terms of their roots, as well as how to use them. That’s why I sometimes used AI tools, which were the perfect way to meet my needs and the way I like to study German.

What makes my experience truly special is the combination of detailed lesson explanations, which help me deeply understand the material, and weekly review sessions that reinforce the content and assess my comprehension. In addition, the one-on-one meetings with Yulina add a personal dimension to the learning process, allowing me to discuss challenges and receive direct guidance—making the experience more effective and engaging.

I have been very happy with this course. And it helped me pass my B1 Exam which I think is probably the best testimonial that I can give.

My only suggestion would be to modernize the platform, allowing exercises to be done online instead of only through PDFs.

It's extremely well organized but also fun! It integrates cultural aspects also ! it can be studied in tid bits or in big chunks!

This course helped me so much! I remember when I was only halfway A1 and did the A1 test. I was approved with 96%. It has a lot of content and Ill always recommend it!

The course is well-structured and well-paced. Juliane is also a very responsive instructor too - whenever I have questions, she always provides timely answers. I find this course better than offline courses, as you can set your own pace within the course structure.

So I booked one on one lessons with Juliane. I wasn't sure how it would go, as I had up until that point, had not done any such courses online via the internet. To my surprise it was not any different to actually physically attending lessons. Juliane was very helpful in the way that she explained Grammar in a simple yet concise manner. She was always patient and ready to give an explanation should a question arise. There was also access to the German to Go website which has everything someone learning German could need. I would also recommend checking out GermanToGo on YouTube. Aside from explaining the grammar she had conducted exercises based on whichever topic was being discussed, which helped to solidify the grammar. Her friendly and outgoing personality made the course easier to sit through. Through the course I have been able to improve upon my German and gain more confidence in speaking with others. I am forever grateful and fully recommend this course to anyone serious on leveling up their German.

Despite learning German intensively for only one month with German to Go (thoroughly learning from week 1 to week 16 and reviewing from week 17), I took the Goethe A1 exam. I performed very well during the exam and scored the maximum possible highest marks—24.9 out of 25 points—in Lesen, Schreiben, and Sprechen with an overall grade of "Sehr gut (95 out of 100)".

I am using German to Go as a supplement to an online tutor. It allows me to work at my place and fit into a busy working life. German to Go comes with a wealth of additional material and support. The videos are supper useful in helping me to embed the learning. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn German.

German to go is a very thorough learning program. The resources are endless, but at the same time it is clear what steps need to be followed. There are tests at the end of every module (week) so you can see if you have understood the topic. I love how Juliane always revises and integrates themes during revision videos. I have just done really well on the German TELC B1 test and I can say that it is due to Juliane's course including having my writing corrected, plus lots of listening and speaking outside the course. Thanks Juliane.

It’s a great start to your journey to learn German with its carefully designed syllabus. Additionally, it helps with your orientation to the country too as some subjects are about the life there.

I am very happy that I registered for German courses with GERMANTOGO. The lessons are divided into days and weeks. This helped me to prepare a plan and study at my own pace. The grammar is so well structured and explained that I could follow along and understand it really well. There are serveral exercises and test at the end of each week. I found the test very useful as it helped me to gauage myself and go back and refer to topics that I could improve upon.

This website is built with other challenges that helps the student improve. Below are just a few examples.

> The speaking session “Sprachcafé” where the students can enroll themselves and discuss on any topic of their choice. This helped me immensely to speak with other students in German and also discuss about different topics.
> I recently took up the Presentation challenge. This is an excellent exercise especially for those who are looking forward to take the Goethe exam. I found it extremely helpful as I could think of topics and provide a presentation within limited time.
> There are interview videos with native speakers which helped me understand the dialect and the pace in which Germans speak. There are also excersises to just relax and sit back and listen to the audio of German speakers to understand the melody of the German language.

The website also has a lot of information about Germany, the differnt cities, the life in Germany and also different genre of German music which I like to listen to.

This is an excellent course and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to learn and improve in German.

The videos and explanations are quite clear.
I find the road map for the course to make sense and follows a good learning plan to improve on your German.

Check-ins are frequent enough and it is beneficial to speak “in-person” with your teacher. I currently have the lite plan.

In fact I was not be able to invest as many hours as I intended but my learning experience in German was excellent with germantogo. Julianne is a great teacher who loves what she is doing. I have enrolled many other courses but have not satisfied as I have with Julianne.

Juliane’s Course is far more than excellent. I came across the course after a series of frustrations, and just by watching the preview I could tell this was what I was looking for. This course took from a complete beginner to fluency in about 6 months. A huge advantage is that you can move at you’re a pace comfortable to you. I chose to go as fast as I could. The concepts are so well explained, that I found myself smiling for the most part. She also incorporates the concept of repetition so meticulously, that it doesn’t get boring but serves as a way to reiterate what you have already learned. Apart from the concept videos, you also get extra hören videos and audio, reading texts, and lots and lots of exercises. The sprachcafe was my particular favorite and I met awesome people from all around the world, while at the same time practicing my speaking skills 😊😊. So really, with this course, you get to learn and perfect all the four foundations of a language. Ooh, there is a section on new vocabulary that has been used in a particular instructional video, which does you give you the ability to write beautiful texts in German. Everything was perfect in this course and I did not have to rely on extra course books. I also met Juliane in the online classes and she was such a kind and gentle teacher. As I said, I completed the course in six months up to B1 level, I then did a short self-study course using B2 books because, at this point, I was an independent learner. And even then, I still had to turn to the course to explain some of the concepts in B2. In my experience, the last section of the B1 section has a lot of grammar similar to the B2.1 level. This means that once you complete the course to B1, the transition to higher B2 and C1 levels is easy. I sat for the B2 Goethe exam in my 7th month of learning German and passed all modules with above 70%. It is a really a dream come true!! So, with full confidence, I recommend this course to anyone serious about their language learning 😊😊.
